Re: It's Friday, again!
I have seen several people peeking in and I was waiting for them to open. So decided to just jump in and get us started.
I am trying to come up with a grocery list. I need a lot things from WM, so guess I will go there and then hit the grocery store on Monday or Tuesday.
Have had breakfast and meds. So guess I will iron something to wear and hit the shower.

Re: It's Friday, again!
Well, I'm here!
Have done my desk chores and was reading my book. Waiting for DH to come home, he's out watching the subcontractor and his crew do all the work he now subs out. It's a big huge job, I'm glad he doesn't do that part any more.
When he comes home we'll look at the weather (looking like rain) and then maybe cut the grass. Still feeling lazy.

No moving here. But I'm s2s and have had breakfast. Also brought in the garbage cans and emptied the last of the bird seed in suet packets from the freezer. No birds around but the squirrels have been active around the 'feeder' (it isn't really a feeder but something dh put out for the birds that they haven't used.) and so I put the last of the birdseed packets where the squirrels can get them. There is still at least 5 pounds of sunflower seed leftover that we won't be moving because we won't have birds at that height and won't be allowed to have a feeder on the balcony.
Today is strip and remake bed day so I shall now go and disappoint dh, once again, by doing that task with my clothes on.

Re: It's Friday, again!
Good Morning Dear Ladies,
Another day of staying home for me. We can take up to 3 consecutive days off and it only counts as one absence so I'm taking today off too. I have improved, but still sick so going to rest as much as I can today. I'll have to go in tomorrow.
DH worked with his new piece of equipment and after some challenges was quite happy with it. He has a busy day ahead of him.
Due to being sick, I haven't done any of my PT, but my shoulder feels good. Been doing more things for myself so that should count.
Have a great day all!

Re: It's Friday, again!
I got on up on the late side today but got the house cleaned up for dcleaning lady. Got dd up at 9:30 and we went for a pedicure together, and just now got home. I tried to call dh just now - he got in after I went to bed last night and left before I was up this morning. Need to check in with him re: afternoon and evening plans.
Ds wants dd to get him back to GA Tech late this afternoon - I was really hoping we all could have dinner together tonight - either in or going out, but it looks like that won't work out.
I am feeling just worn out today, might even nap.

Re: It's Friday, again!
The dog is doing her duty by getting me out of the house walking early every morning. She is so funny. First she sneezes on my feet to get my attention - then if I don't get moving she starts talking like that dog on FB. Sort of a rowl, rowl, rowl. If that doesn't get me moving she works up to a howly bark and then a real bark. All this time she is nudging me with her nose. If I get up to get my jacket and hat (to cover the bed head) she starts dancing.
I laid out a rack of pork ribs for dinner tonight. After they thaw, I will rub them down and then marinate them in the rub until time to cook them. I should have laid them out last night so they could marinate longer.
Tomorrow starts Woodcarving week. I think it was Ivy that asked if I carve wood. Well, kinda. I carve cottonwood bark and make either whimsical houses (crooked doors, windows, etc.) or pueblo scenes. I'm doing a 360 house now where I cut the piece of bark in half and glued it together. That way the house will be carved all around. I glued a piece of cardboard between the halves so I can take it apart and carve out the inside for a light to show thru the windows and doors. I am also going to put some inlaid turquoise in the one door to dress it up. Have lots of turquoise chips from an old mine we found up in the mountains.
Best get moving - time to strip the bed and wash bedding.
