Good morning, Twins, and thanks for opening us up! Good morning to MT, too, and waving to Bookie, whose light I see on! Good evening to lynlee!
It's going to be Whip-the-kids-into-shape Wednesday here -- I've reached the point in the summer where I'm fed up with their little slacker butts!
DH has worked with dd to get her bedroom floor sufficiently cleaned up to put a fan in her window; she's spent the last month whining about how hot her room is but wouldn't put things away enough that we could get in to put the fan in. We need to do the same with DD (for those who don't know me or have forgotten, I have just the two girls, so I tend to refer to the elder as DD (my "big daughter") and the younger as dd (my "little daughter")), but that's complicated by a chunk of her room being taken up by boxes we stashed in there from the office (which deserves a story of its own).
I'm (still) working on updating my cards. Besides that, I need to get at least one load of wash done, and I want to get the books transferred from small bookcase #2 to large bookcase #1 so we can move small bookcase #2 out of the way and put large bookcase #2 where it needs to go.
dd is showering now; when she's done, I'll be working with her on detangling her hair before it turns into felt. She's got it quite long now -- down to her butt, but she hates to spend time on its upkeep. If I can't get her in the habit of taking care of it by the end of the summer, I'm going to suggest we get it detangled one last time then have it cut for donation. DD is out of the shower and reading a bit; while she was in the shower, I had DH shut his computer down properly (I don't speak PC) and put it away so DD can't use it (if she spends any more time on it, it will physically graft to her fingers!
). I'm giving her a few minutes to cool down (and for me to finish this post), then I'm going to put her to work.

68*-98* todays temps. Hens fed decided not to sell any to that gal she has no coop only a run not good for the 100* temps. This week here they need protection from that she is not ready for em. She only wanted three. As h. Says ours are spoiled. We have lots of shade and protection from elements, apple and plum cherries for em to eat.
Glad I do not live in Fla. Or on the East coast thinking of you there with weather issues for the 4th.
I have plenty of work that needs done here. Some errand running too do not sure when.

Good morning, villagers ~
Good title for the day, Twins'Mom.
So far:
* cat care
* checked FB for family's and friends' storm damage reports
* submitted event info for sewing group to newspaper online calendar
* first draft of financial reports for library group
* researched and printed more LEGO project instructions
* 2 loads of laundry wash/dry/fold/put away
* planned supper
* read some blog entries
* read 1 1/2 newspapers
This afternoon I have a meeting at the library with the other LEGO Club volunteer. We talked on the phone last night and I mentioned that I was planning to go do some prep work for next week's meeting. We don't have a club meeting today but I left the time block open on my calendar. She offered to help for awhile. She tends to get sidetracked into doing other things, like making signs or looking for craft supplies for other projects, but that would be ok. It all needs to be done sometime, and since I had planned to work alone, whatever she ends up doing will be a bonus.
