Mostly I'm wondering where you all are today!

It is 9 a.m. EST, and no-one has opened the village?!

I'm up. I'm assuming you are all up and doing all kinds of things. I'll come back later and see what you have all accomplished this morning.

There, I beat Emptynester. Not sure if she was trying to open us up at the same time or just hanging back wondering where everyone is. She's two time zones behind mine (I think) so I'm impressed she's even here. Although she may be up early to avoid the heat of the day.

It is a muggy, hazy day here. I recall the rental agent being so upset because each time we came it was cloudy and she kept saying we weren't getting the full effect of the view. Seriously, clouds just make it different, not worse.

I'm having my decaf tea and chocolate. Slept very well. Unless a setting has been reset on my fitbit, or that feature is wearing out, I had my best monitored sleep - 93%. Just a few weeks ago, if I made it to 70% I was thrilled. Stress is still there so I suspect the exercise is helping me sleep way better. As well, my 'resting pain level' is dropping. Last night I didn't have to get up in the night and that helps the quality of my sleep since I don't have to settle the pain of walking back down to a level I can sleep with.

I had a good sleep the night before last, as well. I hope this is good news and not that I'm getting sick again. My energy level in the day doesn't reflect the quality or length of sleep (I'm in bed over 8 hours and sometimes over 9.) I'm taking way fewer steps so that's a difference as well but not intuitively for the better.

I just realized I'm off caffeine tea. Bet that's the difference, even though it was just in the morning (with a Dr. P through the day.) I've also cut way back on caffeinated soft drinks. Just one if I'm out for a meal but nothing at home. Hmmm, will go back and look at the numbers over a week.

Goals for the day are the same as every other day this week. Paperwork. I did get almost all the chits entered into Quicken last night while I watched tv. So there's more progress. Today I need to reconcile credit card and bank accounts. There are at least 3 months each and 6 accounts to do. But ds deserves a solid number of what he owes me (he shares one account with me and I've been paying his bills while he was away.)

I am slowly checking off AM cards. My brain is feeling like mush so I just focus on doing the one next thing. repeat. repeat. repeat. I find it somewhat comforting to have tasks that need to be done laid out for me. Not much thinking is required.

LO is sitting beside me doing abcya.com which is one of the two acceptable educational type screen activities he can do before 3pm.

DH has left to get another xray before seeing uriologist. This is week six with his kidney stone. I think we might have to give his kidney stone a name and claim it as a deduction.

Next up -
** LOL twirling
** log breakfast into MFP
** log incoming papers

We have a houseguest, so our morning has been a little different. Also, somehow, we lost a chicken last night. That has me a little shook up. Trying to tell myself it isn't a predator but I just don't know.

Yes, I think Emptynester gets in an early morning walk most mornings, too. That's so smart.

The humidity here is awful. I stepped outside this morning and had to go back inside to brace myself against the waves.

The girls want to go to the... ... mall. (eeeyyyyywwww :( )

Sorry about the boards being down.

We've hopefully permanently corrected the problem and now ticked off the unlimited bandwidth box. Thanks to LM for emailing me directly. Those admins who also have dh's email address should feel free to email him directly whenever anything comes up like this. He pays closer attention to his email than I do.

I've s2s and had breakfast and lunch. Dh is doing garbage/recycle now so I think I'll join him on the trip (all the way to the ground floor on the elevator.) I'll check our mail box while down there.

We just agreed to meet dd for a movie on Saturday. It is 2:40 long so I need to get my act together earlier in the week so I'm prepared for Sunday.

I was just peeking in while I ate breakfast. We get up before 5 to walk, but not me today as my ankle was hurting.

Good news, all the spots removed Friday are benign.

We are currently waiting for routine pacemaker checkup.

Temp was 114 and predicted 115 today.

Dh has just set an alarm and we are going to go swimming at the nearest pool.

There is one pool 9 minutes by bike (according to google) and two at 15 minutes away but one of those hasn't opened yet. Looking at websites, the second one 15 minutes away is the best choice because it is much bigger.

So I'm off to 'not drown' (I prefer to call it that, rather than swimming.)
