I've been at this computer for far too long. Time to get my body moving, moving, moving. Doesn't matter how, just 'move it!'

Have water heating to do up dishes. Expect dd and dgs9 will be here before long and I'm not even dressed.

We're all going to meet db/dsil for lunch at noon. Dh is taking off a couple of hours so he can join us. Supposed to start raining (again) about 10 so he's trying to dip tanks right now (septic).

Had asked dsisil if they had plans for Sunday and she said they did, but did not tell me what -didn't even begin to think to ask nor would I. But on FB yesterday dgrniece (db's gd) announced that she got married on Sunday -very small, private wedding. Glad for her.

Better get myself doing that 'moving' thing.......

Got dressed first thing this morning. Of course, I use the term 'first thing' loosely, it was by 9.

Have refilled the vitamins and supervised dh making a reservation for our hotel in NS. Still need reservations along the way there and home again. We are leaving long before ds and TGF (The Girl Friend) so they can just stay in the hostels along the way. Ds did that with NTGF two years ago.

I'm starting to really look forward to Whitepoint. Now that I can walk a bit, it should be quite fun. Won't be able to climb much on the rocks, though.

We leave in 10 days so I need to get my act together. We'll visit with my cousin on the way past him and take a more leisurely drive there because we have to beat it home fast. I must say, one advantage to driving is that we don't have to book all our flights well in advance. So we have a chance to leave things up in the air, which isn't always a bad thing. Next week is packed full of activity, though, so I need to be on top of my game this week.

It is quiet in the village so far.

I was up early because I was worried about all that needs done today, worried mostly about my ability to do it all.

Go to jobsite, straighten out all the papers there
Go to office supply, buy another invoice pad for one of the trucks
stop at bank
go to county office pu papers
call county office first with order
must type up my committee minutes. They've been sitting here 2 months, I hope I can understand my notes.

Tonight is committee meeting. I'm not looking forward to it. It is at one member's house and it is a long dark drive out there.

Windows look foggy and spotted after all that rain. All the ones across the front, the big picture window and tall sliding glass door off the kitchen. Screens must be removed on the front ones and cleaned also. I'm thinking maybe I'll pick up a bottle of that window cleaner you attach to a hose and just hose them. Better than nothing and I'm not sure I'm up to shining and polishing.

Harriet thank you for "clearing" information. It sounds complicated. All those issues I mentioned have no solutions (in my mind) yet and only vague ideas at best. Idea: perhaps I could make a plan for just a month at a time, like for this month I will ...... Most of my worries are of the long term variety. It has not helped one bit that the economy and real estate market in this region has been stagnant all these years. That makes long-term planning very difficult.

Better get moving here.

Good morning! I have a quiet day today - will try for YMCA and some other tasks that need doing! I'm almost salivating about the chance to do things here at home.

Yesterday dmom did sign the new will and all went well. Also got the deed signed to change her house into her name only - as I said was never changed after ddad died w/o a will and her passing with the name in ddad's name could endanger dsis' SSI/medicaid. Dmom was not happy and was confused about the whole thing at times, but she did understand it when she signed, I think.

-breakfast/meds & vitamins
-take additional trash out (dh took trash can out, but I want to empty kitchen trash and get that out to the street also.)
-walk the ddogs
-start a load of delicates in washer
-clear kitchen counters

Looks like a quiet day in the village again!

I am doing very well, for me. I am s2s BEFORE 11:00 a.m.

DH went to play golf and dgs was awake when he left... so that got things moving around here.
I did all my little morning routine (except the 2 15-min sessions) and made a phone call to a dfriend (former coworker) who just retired. But she wasn't home so I had to leave a message.
ALSO -- called ds -- b/c dh discovered that his truck would not start. He has left me here stranded w/dgs... smh... so when he gets a lunch break, ds is going to
* come get me
* go with me to get the boxes at Wmart
* take me to get dmom's truck/ds's old truck
* come back to our house and try to jump-start dh's truck
Whew. The best laid plans...

So glad you got all that straightened out w/your dmom's deed and will, Twins... I know all that has to be done, yet dh and I have not made a will yet, either.

Harmony, I have used that spray window washer stuff before. It worked pretty well. It's been a long time though.

Boy... it's been a long time since I undertook any major projects like that. I don't know what happened. I guess as I've gotten older and tired-er dh has gotten even MORE so older and tired-er... LOL... and he is so discouraging about any household "projects" that it is just so easy to let things slide.

What a quiet morning in the village. I can't believe it's already afternoon and I've let half the day go by.

-hang up delicates, start a lol of ds sheets
-answer 5 emails
-10 pieces of paper gone forever
-make the bed
-clear kitchen table

Wow, and Lucylee is ahead of me today!

All my errands are done and a few other things done along the way. I used to run around like this all the time, but I don't think it used to tire me so much.

While in the Office Supply store (getting invoice pad and DH's license laminated) the skies opened up and poured rain. My umbrella I keep in the car must have gone away on vacation, I have no clue where it is. So I got soaked and then soaked again the next place. But all is done now and I have about a hour's worth of work with the huge stack of papers I brought back home. I even got a new floor mat for the laundry room where we come in from the garage. DH threw the old one into the garage, I think he was tired of waiting for me to replace it.

I still have to do those minutes. Then I'll get in the shower and then I'll work on all those papers. I was hoping for a nap this afternoon, but not sure if I'll have time.

Helia, I really love forsythia bushes. I had them up north and they did get big. It would be a shame if you had to lose yours.
