What is going on in your card file, or if you are like me, during the summer I kept asking where is my card file?

The card file is meant to give you order that is flexible to your needs.

Weeklies (flexible) in blue very flexible
Monthly and seasonally: white flexible

November 1 Saturday:

Hi Nancy and all.

Goals today: put away halloween , bring out thanksgiving
ymca
go to craft show with dmom (almost all day lots of fun)

house: family room clean up , pull outside stuff in, church, just got home so church in the morning then

9:00 check in and ready to start
dailies: fill what you can in dw and start if necessary
find laundry bring it down stairs
counters
stove
table
sweep kitchen floor
make beds
make garbage run
dejunk one thing from refridge
empty car stuff as you go, bring in cups (easy as dh cleaned it) dh is doing this for me (so nice.
make dinner and clean up after (as a family) misc dinner (all on our own as we just got home) dh did dishes

weekly: game night we are moving it to Sunday or not
weekly: bathrooms

house: staying in kitchen area and next week hoping to move to family room.
start writing Christmas cards. bought but will start 1 or 2 a day
work on hand made present
work on family gift

Realizing my limits and thank Goodness I can be happy with this as I get older.

write 3 xmas cards a day an put stamp on it right away
work on moms present daily
work on family gift daily

bring all laundry downstairs
find garbage (sweep thru house)
toss one thing from refrig. if necessary

Hi dHarriet, so happy to see you! Boy do I agree basics are best! So many times that's all I can do and not even all of them. I really like the idea that your evening routine is set! How wonderful, your dd coming! I am so happy for you and your family!

clean animals: bird/hamster /cat stuff /dog stuff outside
clean garbage can in kitchen
put bike thing together
write 3 Christmas cards put stamps on and wrote one personal letter to neighbor
wrap presents
bathrooms as I couldn't do it Sunday x powder room done my bathroom , girls bathroom do toilet they will do rest, I have decided they will each do 1/2 of tub and their side of sink, one will vacuum and one sweep that room
special remove more wall paper only took off 2 inches square of paper
so I don't freak (I tend to make a project huge in my mind and then not do it) so I will break the outside clean up through out the week: today: take in one corner of porch pots. which means empty dirt and clean pots and put on shelf in garage. only took in one pot (at least I can say I did something from it).

Wednesday: dd13 karate (being pragmatic as I will be out all day)
ask me if I want to start, I think I know the answer , geesh I wish I could get over that feeling and just head off to work with "yes I am ready" instead of stamping my feet and saying I don't wanna.

We voted last week the whole county does mail in ballots
I rather like it no waiting in long lines!

all except for vacuuming the upstairs.
Mopping sweeping is done yea!!!

Glad you got to vote early, we had that available here and actual voting day was busy but really easy and quiet. I think it was because so many people voted early

Thursday heavy cleaning day usually set for friday but dd19 leaves for florida tomorrow
(started not feeling well so heavy cleaning went out the window ) but that happens...it is the trend that counts and it will get done.
my mini goal tonight is to be like our dharriet ... make sure I do my night time routine

dd19 special ceremony at 7 pm, pilates at 5 for dd13 , dress up
dd13 is home today

weeklies moved to today (if I get them done great if not they get moved to next week on their regular day)

-christmas cards I missed yesterday but I will still only do 3 as that is realistic for me
-wrap Christmas presents, move them to my closet and mark it santas workshop( funny girls are older and they still love this).
-clean one shelf in refridge so I stay on top of it for Christmas. once a week
-move one or more pots inside (I know this is foolish doing it this way but I am making my brain think I am not really doing the work (the brat inside)
-remove even the smallest piece of wall paper (funny even this slow poke method (because I am busy) has made quite some progress) took off a 5' section

my family project : I am making it too hard so I will try and simplify. making family pictures for dmom and ddad and cousins. I think I got overwhelmed by all the pictures. did some by separting many pictures, have decided to start with old photos first

my baby step for today to get it to be a habit. do night time routine. (thanks dharriet) really you gave me the inspiration, so at late night I emptied the clean dishes instead of waiting to morning. what a nice thing to wake up to (a clean kitchen)
