TAKE CARE OF THE NEXT RIGHT THING WEDNESDAY

I thought I read the title as it is now named -continuing on from yesterday...... Now it is that. With tax season rearing it's (ugly) head for many, Harmony's daily 'project' sounds good. That's about where I was with all the church reports. Now that they're sent off, I need to get on that too, Harmony. Almost afraid to this year. We withdrew a huge chunk of retirement this year and I'm mighty fearful of the tax result. They're supposed to take out taxes on top of the withdrawal, but I'm afraid to look. I do know it was putting us in a higher tax bracket so afraid the amount won't be enough.
Harmony,
Need to talk myself into facing this.
I'm the same way. Knew my right eye in particular was bothering me more. Finally bit the bullet this past fall and the eye dr. said just that. I now have an appointment with the surgeon on May 19th. Dr. had told me if I could tough it through the winter, we'd wait until then for new glasses. Apparently the left eye isn't ready yet. But the right eye -it's definitely gotten worse over the winter here. Reports were definitely hard on my eyes.
Kathryn, I would have emailed you but I couldn't find your email address and couldn't remember the site's email.

Need to copy all those elsewhere on my computer so I have them. Thanks for fixing us btw.

Good morning! I'm here at home until the late afternoon when I have an appointment for the PT evaluation for my still sore fingers. I'll go by the temple then also to sign cks.
I'm glad I could at least help Kathryn get to the YMCA yesterday, even if I didn't get there. The tag has not shown up so I need to go by for another one, and get on the elliptical as suggested by my doc.
I am so happy to have a day that isn't crazy. On Monday I had lots of time, but was just worn out from the travel and needed to prep for the meeting last night. Yesterday was at home for a.m. but then out from noon to almost 8 p.m. (dmom to doc and then meeting.) I came by home in between long enough to feed dogs and let them out to potty only.
PODA/OMM for today
-must update expenses we had pd for dsis and do reimbursement from sale proceeds
-must sign cks at temple
-PT evaluation at 3 p.m.
-menu, grocery list to cook dinner tomorrow night and for regular pantry restocking
-dh picked up some essentials yesterday so I may wait until tomorrow for grocery run
-what else?
for now....
-breakfast and meds
-refill meds
-kitchen counter clean up
-start lol
-10 pieces of paper off my desk

I am glad you don't have such a "crazy" day ahead d twins.. enjoy!
d dee a fine good morning - thank you for starting us!
Things I have to face:
-my health and fitness
-chore that is embarrassing because I swore I would never do again but seems daunting: my laundry is clean and folded but are in black bags in my closet - I no longer allow anyone to put laundry on the dining room table for others to fold... I have a sign now on our dryer ... they have a choice ... fold their laundry and put away... towels etc.. have to folded and put away by anyone switching them out... person who is not there and their laundry is done - is put in a basket or as dh does put in a bag..(sigh) and placed in that persons closet. the embarrassing thing is I went to the laundry mat in december so that I could catch up (it is still in my closet
) - today break it down so I don't feel so overwhelmed.
-dejunking my emails
today I have dinner at d mil s house (have to leave at 3:15)
for me:
a temporary card or two
put away (or take what doesn't belong in that room) day here at my house.. a room by room type thing.. timer at 15 min. a room
something in focus room
happy day to all of you.

Hi everyone!
Another day off work due to the fact that there are not enough vans available at work. I volunteered.
I had a marvelously productive day yesterday.

Good morning, villagers ~
Thanks for opening the thread, Dee.
I am working on deadline for charity sewing. Thanks to the little bubbles on my form, I documented 5 hours of sewing yesterday afternoon and evening. I've already put in an hour and a half this morning, and plan to continue throughout the day.
Other progress:
Worked all morning yesterday on computer tasks, and then managed to ignore the desk for most of the rest of the day. Well, I did check Emails a few times, but since there was nothing urgent I let them sit.
Just spent an hour sorting and deleting Emails from my Inbox.
I typed a list of deadlines due this week because I know my tendency to get tunnel vision when working on a big project. I can get away with doing the bare minimum this week while pushing on the charity sewing marathon, but that bare minimum must not be skipped.
I have a clear plan of what sewing I want to accomplish before Saturday. On Saturday itself I will take my travel machine to the group sew-in and work with the others there from 9 to 3. That will finish my part of the project, and Sunday I can get back to working on the house.
In the meantime, I will try to sneak in some declutter sessions. For example, right now I see a stack of Christmas wrapping supplies and a few decorations that I can take to the long-term storage closet next time I go upstairs. If I do that, then I will be able to check off today's Declutter box on the PocketMod!
3 glasses of water so far today.

I just called the dentist office and they can get me in at noon to take care of this bridge. It wouldn't come out last night, so I propped myself up on pillows and slept on the sofa.
Dh left here at 7:22, so that he could be among the first in at the walk-in clinic. He is still not home.
It is cloudy today. Starting tomorrow and for at least 4 days it is suppose to be in the 50's. That will feel like a heat wave. Dh mentioned that he should finish trimming the trees. He started them in October and then had the ear issue and never finished them. I asked him if it was too cold but he pointed out that the professional trimmers are trimming trees.
Dh just got home. She thinks he has a sinus issue as in not draining properly. She wants him to have a CT scan. The scheduler wasn't there yet, so he has to go back later and get an appt for that.

Good Morning!
Dee - Great idea!
IMHO, cataract surgery is one of the quickest/easiest surgeries. My eye doc chooses to use the hospital surgery rooms to perform the procedure so it is a bigger deal just because going through the hospital "official" check-in procedure/surgery prep/recovery room. When DH had his done in the big city, the procedure is preformed in same building as doc office because doc had a mini surgery center. It was cheaper there because of that reason (didn't have to pay hospital on top of the doctor).
I suspect hereditary has a big part to play in my having cataracts so early (in my 40's) and now again in my 50's. DMom has had at least a dozen eye surgeries so I'm guessing I inherited her eye genes. On top of that I had RK surgery done when it was first available
. A few years later they developed better ways (lasik) to correct vision. However, I will always have scars in my eyes from the RK surgeries. The eye doc told me yesterday that the RK scars are what is causing me to have problems with angle of vehicle lights at night. I have to be in a high vehicle so I'm not blinded by the approaching car lights which appear to me to as bright star burst. When I'm in a tall vehicle looking downward on other lights, I don't have that problem. I'm thankful for the eyesight I do have.
break it down so I don't feel so overwhelmed.
Blessed - I'm right there with you! I have pulled out my 3x5" card system and started using it again. I'm feeling overwhelmed and need the visual aspect of physical cards showing to-do's. Also I'm enjoying making a mark on the card when it is done. Silly. No one in the world knows (or cares) how many marks I have on the cards……but that little dab of ink motivates me.
Today is our last below freezing day
(until the next cold front hits)......we are suppose to get some snow today. However, Saturday it is suppose to be in the 60's!!!
Next up = scan & email DD high school transcript to her and then put the physical copy in the snail mail box.
