Stay safe everyone.
I saw the news of a guy who dug a tunnel through the snow to his car, but had no idea how to get it out.
I was visual on that test too, however, there were times when none of the choices, or all of the choices depending on the situation, would have been the more correct answer.
Also, sequencing is a problem for me, so all in all I find ways around that difficulty.

A reminder - many people and children do better without certain artificial colours and flavours, and sometimes other common food influence ability, learning and behavour. Some so that as well as taking meds.
I used go to clinics at child guidance for my family with this dietitian in the 80s
http://foodintolerancepro.com/ She has an approach more in line with Ben Feingold's groundbreaking work from the 70s. She has a method of being a food detective to find cause and effect.
http://fedup.com.au/factsheets/support- ... e-eating-2 has a list of the artificials most likely to cause problems.
Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Allergy Clinic in Sydney had A full elimination diet for those who need take things to that level.
From that program Sue Dengate set up the latter website, promoting the Failsafe Diet.
I'd recommend making less change initially than the full failsafe everything out approach. (Feingold did not take out as many foods as the Failsafe one.
My family's response to Feingold Diet in the 80s. DD1 stopped bouncing off walls, irrational reactions, her learning, reading , writing improved (Yr2, 7yo) DD2 'woke up' and started participating, speaking more. (Age 4) My skin colour improved and fatigue lifted. Testing oranges resulted in dd1 having grubby torn worksheets at school, and the RI teacher who would hand out lollies caused major disruption, as did parties, and staying at grandparents house. In later years relationship problems with friends were common when 'off diet'.
Dgs15 has himself on a no fruit diet. (many fruit are high in salicylates) I've seen both those dgks have major melt downs after eating lollies/candy. How they manage themselves now - not my business.
DD2 is aiming for the no artificials approach with her 2.
Personally - I mostly do the feingold approach, with additional 'nos', mostly coinciding with the FM /candida diet, and avoiding things dietitians have told me I seem allergic to, given my reactions.. I got sick on the Failsafe elimination diet, cos it allowed things I couldn't have, so I went back to what had worked earlier.
It is a bother to do, but worth it if it helps.
Temps back to 30C here Harriet. I cannot imagine that much cold.
I'll be washing and hanging things on the line here tomorrow.
500odd homes destroyed at least, plus many towns/ areas flooded particularly when dam gates opened automatically. grr. Bah Humbug . Me thinks incompetence.
Electricity still out to many areas. There may be places/isolated farms no one has got to yet to find out how the people are as access still cut.. Phones were out too.
