Good Morning Ladies
Wow I get to open the village, had a wonderful time at Dd's house yesterday, the weather was not cooperative, but it did not matter. Tried to see how to post a picture or two here but could not see how so gave up.
Was up at 5 this morning, got some of my quiet Monday Musts done, finishing up my AM chores, Dh is in the shower, the rest of today will find us heading back to Dds to pick up our other Dd and her Dh and take them into Dparents house for a visit, then take them to the airport to catch their flight back to FL. once they are dropped off, we will head back home and hopefully I will be able to finish whatever I did not get done, dinner is leftovers from our dinner out with FL Dd and Dh Saturday nite.
Best get going now, need another cup of coffee.breakfast and meds.
Hope to back later, have a great day:)

I think, Molly's Nana, that you'll only be able to post a picture in Members Only once your status changes to "member". Right now, until you've made a certain number of posts (not sure what that is at the moment) you won't be able to access those areas. But it'll be coming sooner than later. Hang in there. It's just a process we use to keep those out who aren't really serious about being members here (not meaning you). I hope I've explained this correctly -any other moderators feel free to jump in. You'll see that status change under your name at some point in a little bit.

Good morning! Dreary rainy day here. We are planning on going for a walk to the bagel shop so hopefully things will dry up around lunch time. Aside from that, we are inside all day.
The car is getting 'washed' since it is out in the visitor's parking. The last time it was through the car wash was 12 days ago and aside from a couple of bird droppings, it was pristine when I used the California Duster on it last night (I keep a spray bottle of water and paper towels in the car so dealt with those spots at the same time.) I now believe all the spray 'wax' it got over the winter with the premium car washes is working to keep the car cleaner than ever before. Last fall, I would have told you it was a high-priced gimmick. As well, one time in the winter, MF and I were parked during a snowstorm, same direction, same length of time and my windscreen didn't need scraping and his did. So maybe the ice couldn't grip the waxed surface. All this to say that while keeping the car clean is more complicated and expensive than when we had a driveway and hose, apparently we are doing a better job of it now.
Dh went down this morning to take a picture of our empty parking spot (to see if we can figure out why we were told to vacate for the day) and noted few cars gone from our section. So now we think it is because they want to repair an oil stain the previous tenant left behind. Plus the asphalt is eaten away underneath our car and could use patching. That doesn't affect us but a similar spot in our neighbour's has caught me a couple of times. If they aren't there, I'll step right into their parking spot and twist my ankle in their hole.
As inconvenient as this has been, I'm pleased we were forced to clean out our parking spot. There were a couple of things I didn't know were there and I found another item to toss. And I'll get the winter mats washed out today.
My goal for the day is weekly chores, plus mop the kitchen floor, clean the car mats, plus do the taxes. They are due in 10 days but I need them out of the way to start prep work for the business taxes.
Molly's Nana: we don't allow posting of pictures in the public areas of the forums. It adds to the bandwidth required to participate in the forums so doesn't work well for those with slower internet access (which mostly means me; when I'm on ships download speed how slow it was with modems so the regular PWYC thread takes almost a minute to load but add pictures/graphics to any webpage and it becomes much longer.)
As for becoming a member, it isn't based on number of posts but level of interaction as a member. And people who disappear for a long time get bumped back down to registered status if the moderators lose touch with them. This is to add an extra level of privacy to the members only section since personal details are sometimes shared there.

Hi everyone.
Not really missing in action, just had a pile of things going on around here.
One thing Wayne and I have been busy with is a possible house purchase. Lawyer has been seen and he will be getting numerous things done this week, including an inspection and an appraisal being set up.
Kathryn I need your advice re: septic system. Wayne and I have already had the discussion re: harsh chemicals being washed down drains and large/un-natural items going into toilet. (Lysol wipes, etc.) I have started using Clean Works products (Wayne had them before I moved in). Any advice would be appreciated.
There is also a cistern at the hopefully-new-to-us house. We are also considering solar panels. There is a life-long steel roof on all three structures on the property (house, woodshed and workshop).
We also had a very busy weekend getting the boat into the water for the first time. I had never done any of this before, so there were a lot of learning opportunities for me.

Molly's Nana, thank you for starting us out this morning! So glad you are posting with us!
The sun is out so far this morning and I think there's only a 20% chance of rain. Has been so rainy here - we had t-storms around 7 p.m. last night and again during the night. Hoping the worst of our rainy weather is gone.
Today I am getting body work at 1:30 and dh and I are meeting friends for dinner out tonight. My poor ddogs continue to go down, Moses is whimpering with pain off and on, in spite of having meds when i got up at 8 a.m. Hoping meds are kicking in full speed ahead. Neither dog is eating well right now and dMacs is increasingly incontinent. I realized yesterday that I really miss walking them. Macs hasn't cared to walk much lately either.
Yesterday I typed a long reply to RR about dh but never got it posted - I think it's a control issue for both he and dd - neither of them want to give - anyway, things were better later in the day. I worked on genealogy some and then we went to temple annual meeting when dd head back to K-town. Dh and I went out to eat after the meeting so it was nice to talk and have some downtime with him. He's had so many meetings and has been out of town a lot - and is going away again on Friday through Sunday.
I need to get moving for today. I think I'll have some time for stamping or genealogy later today. DH and I talked about our schedules last night also, and he reminded me I shouldn't visit dsis on Thursday because we have an event that evening. Tuesday is out because of a dental appt, and now a temple "transition meeting" with the new treasurer. If I go Wednesday, I need to reschedule an appointment with the people who will hopefully do the "built ins" in the Gr room. I could go on Friday, but OTOH I prefer not to be on the road when dh is out of town - in case of emergency, kids, mother, dogs, me, him, whatever. It's nice if one of us is accessible.
My cough is turning "productive" so I guess I'm getting better. No fever, still not at 100% but improving.
-Breakfast
-meds/vitamins, me + ddogs
-start the dishwasher
-kitchen counters
-straighten up the GR

Morning y'all..
I woke up late ... For me... As well.
The weekend vapors... Migraines..made my days unproductive so today will be a made catch up day.
Besides normal morning stuff I also need to gather and wrap some gifts, do a grocery run and take packages to the post office.
But first I need to call my headache dr to arrang a nerve block for my migraines. That is my top priority.
Off to start my day.. Waving to y'all. Glad you had some down time and hot to enjoy the company of your dh. Sorry to hear abt your pups. Soon I'll be right behind you as you travel down this road. Mega hugs

Good morning! I was up early helping to move vehicles around. I'm trying not to worry about DH at his job, lots of issues there.
Kathryn, I could have started albums for each child but what do you do with multiple kid pictures? And I've seen what happens to albums. I have a stack of them in a closet, they hardly ever get looked at. DMiL had gobs of albums, everything they ever did was documented, and when she was barely able to talk at the end wanted to know if we were taking pictures...so she wanted that documented also. However, when she passed, nobody in the family wanted those pictures. We have a couple big huge bins of them. DH has had them out twice to look at. He would never get rid of them but you know they take up a huge amount of space.
I did get the loose pictures I had on the piano into a couple frames and up on the wall. So above the piano I have one of each of the DGKids' baby picture. All the other ones are going into a very nice album I bought many years ago just for that purpose. Those pictures are all 5x7 or 8x10's. It's a nice album that has expandable posts. I did take all the nice family pictures and put in 1 frame and that's up on the wall in the family room. I just had too many frames all over the place.
That was a big project and I'm glad it's done. With the amount of decluttering I've been doing the house is beginning to look lots better.
It's grey here today and very humid. I'm hoping the rain holds off until the work day is over. Hugs for {Twins} and ddoggies.
