I wish you success in everything you set out to achieve today from the big things (in my case finish bookkeeping and write a sermon) and little things (completing a load of laundry, staying on top of dishes, making a special plans for tomorrow.)

I'm up. Dh is off to the church plant sale to help out. I hope to have a sermon written by the time he gets home.

I've had breakfast and have washed up the dishes and tidied the bedroom. Still need to s2s and tidy the bedroom. Then I'll start writing. But first, I'll read over my notes on the direction I thought the sermon would take, and move my computer away from all the accounting paperwork so I'm not distracted by it. Thank heaven for my laptop so I can move it around easily.

Good Morning.

Success here would be further clean-up after some success yesterday.

I believe I'm prepared for tomorrow as far as paperwork, which is a lot more than usual because of the finish up of the Easter season regarding our denomination, and an error our denomination office made recording former treasurer's check on our behalf.

Right now we don't have plans to visit anywhere for Mother's Day but I'm not sure.

Successful proofread. Caught my (probably Freudian) slip of typing "love ON another" instead of "love OF another" while writing about eros.

May have to strike the whole paragraph now because I'm not sure I'll be able read it tomorrow without giggling.

Success for me would be to accomplish 5 x 5. I had a very poor night (note to self -we absolutely have to get a new mattress/box spring this fall). Was pretty much up until after 3 and then a few times after that. Finally got up about 8:30. DD/dsonil went to the flea market this morning -didn't even know they were gone. She made blueberry pancakes for breakfast -yum. She changed into an old shirt while frying the bacon -good thing as she had a blueberry spit at her at the table. She now has a new design on an old tank top.

Dh is going to dgs10's lacrosse game this morning. Said their young neighbor is driving. We told him that was scary and he said, "I'll close my eyes". At least he's still not driving -although I'm not sure he has anything to drive as yet. He'll need something Monday as he has to go back to the orthopedist for a check up and get his stitches removed. (Probably more like staples).

DD is talking about getting a bed that will raise and lower for dsonil's comfort. That will be their first big investment. That would sure solve a multitude of problems.

DD and dsonil are just getting ready to go meet his Mom at the funeral parlor and then are taking her to lunch. So I'm on my own -probably a little napping in my future.
I'm not sure I'll be able read it tomorrow without giggling.
That's already put a smile on my face. Hope I don't think about it during tomorrow's sermon here.

Dawned on me today that we can call and schedule a pick up for all our donations in the garage (and there's quite a lot!) Dsonil will be home any day after next week. I was hesitant about opening the garage when I was home alone. There's a bed/dresser set out there and lots more!

A success for me today will be just to get through the day and have some pleasant times. I miss my dogs so much. Dh wants to get me out of the house today, I said I'd like some help with yard/planting work now that my Honda Pilot is back. Was quite upset with dd not getting home until 8 p.m. yesterday.

Dh started the dishwasher this morning. I'm going to clean up the kitchen and counters and empty the dishwasher and try for some routines for right now.

VENT AHEAD: Grrrrrrrr.......Just got our internet bill. I can say I will be calling them Monday morning! Got a bill for over $121!! Our bill has gone from $46/month to nearly $80/month and there was a partial month charge (which would be okay). Think I got charged extra for "turbo speed" which we don't have in any shape or form. Also I see there's a monthly charge of $10 for the modem. Can I buy one?

Thinking of you, (((Twins))). Know this has to be a difficult weekend for you.

Hello everyone. Quiet morning here. I'm just taking it easy for a change. Have the dishwasher running now.

I must have done a good job with the floors yesterday. I'm still in bare feet and the floors feel so clean. We have an ongoing sand problem around here from our going in and out all the time, even though we have mats at the doors and I take my shoes off if they're really dirty.

I have no plans for Mothers' Day. I'm fine with that. Would much rather have a quiet day. Got flowers in the mail from the girls yesterday, very pleasant to look at. Talked with both on the phone yesterday. Enough for this year.

Trying to read my new book but my eyes are tired today and are having a tough time focusing. I still need to get them checked out. Need to light a fire under myself to get that done.

(((Twins)))

Harmony, what did you use on your floors yesterday?

Well, I've eaten breakfast and I have pants on, LOL, but no b r a. I'm planning a do-over in z little while. I'm back on the bed, watching Big Valley, and hoping allergy meds kick in soon.

Have to say I feel really depressed now. Dh unloaded my car with all of dd's cr@p and now the garage is a mess. I'm sure it will all look better in time.
