I am dragging this morning but need to get things cleared up for dcleaning lady to do her magic, in particular I need to work upstairs on dd's room since she's not here this morning....
Felt like an anxiety attack yesterday - dd and her trip preparations, dmom;, dbro, nothing is in good repair in dmom's home, and on and on. She said once she had showered on Monday and later that she hadn't showered in a couple of weeks but had cleaned up. I know she had been wearing clothes a little too long. Getting flashbacks to my dsis and that stench. And dmom's ddog has such a skin condition she looks totally raw. Dbro really doesn't seem very functional a lot of the time about things like that....
I did go to the library and did some research, printed some newspaper articles and obits, some disturbing.

Probably not the right day for that research.
Today is dcleaning lady, lunch with former coworker friend, temple tonight including shabbat dinner there. Maybe pressure washing, depending on their schedule. Gotta get moving...

Yeah for Fridays! Although Friday's are not quite as exciting since I am not at M-F payroll job and LO doesn't have M-F school. But I still love the thought of Fridays!
Today schedule is somewhat busy. I do have some breathing room between activities though.
8:00 - serve breakfast and get LO situated (will be going with DH)
8:30 - Doctor appt (me)
10:00 - pick up DGD4
10:30 - shop for DMom
11:30 - deliver DMom items to her.
Noon - serve lunch
1:00 - DGD4 down for a nap
After nap time, I will watch little ones an hour or so in the swimming pool.
5:00pm - serve dinner
6:00pm - LO ball practice
7:00pm - FNG at our home. The house looks 99% okay so there isn't much to do in prep for them. Mostly pull out drinks, snacks, paper products and start a pot of coffee. Hosting these 12-16 dear friends is a breeze.

((Twins)) That is a lot you're dealing with.
Enjoy your day taking care of children and your dmom, LadyM. FNG sounds like a joy for you!
Big concern of the day is the fact that Maia suddenly started gagging a lot last night, sometimes with vomit but mostly without. This started after she was running hard fetching a stick over and over again for dd17. She didn't eat well last night or this morning, which is really not normal for a lab. I suspect she has something stuck in her throat - but I could be wrong. She isn't gagging very much this morning, although she did gag while eating. She has an appt. at the vet at 10:30 this a.m.
So far, I have gotten up, had tea, checked emails, chatted with dh re: what to do with Maia, called the vet and made an appt., and s2bf.
Next:
- QT
- kitchen back to MM
- update attendance and grades online
- finish self-care: mainly brush teeth
- otd at 9:15 for WW, where I will almost certainly post a gain -- but I really need to get back on track.
Later:
- 9:30 WW
- 10:30 vet
- exercise; I went for a jog yesterday. Maybe walk to work?
- prep for class
- finish a.m. routine
- other items on my li%t
- letter in the mail
- payroll; out from 2 - 6:15 if I walk and take the bus home. Out 2:50 - 6:15 if I drive. Out 2:35 - 6:15 if I take the bus both ways. 3 options. LOL!
- dinner out
- make sure dd19 has everything she needs for her short term missions trip to Guatemala. She is leaving bright and early tomorrow morning. (She is going with our dfriends from Texas, E and C, with their church, which has a longstanding relationship with an orphanage and another organization in Guatemala.)

BookSaver, I was so sorry to hear of your dmil's passing. Must be a difficult time for dh right now.
Hoping for travel blessings for Dee and dd, and helia's dd19.
Hope Maia feels better.
((Twins' Mom)) hoping any anxiety eases.
Lynlee, well, still your puppy after all these years of course! LOL Glad he's had plenty of time to get used to some time alone.

Good travel blessings for Dee and dd as well as Booksaver and family while they travel up to the funeral and have a late day up there.
Hope Maia is ok.
(((Twins)))
LadyM, sounds like your day is well planned out. I love that I can picture FNG. Thank you for inviting us to join you when we were visiting.
I'm up. Bedroom and kitchen are tidied. Weighed myself and the damage from the weekend has gone away and I may be down a half pound from last Thursday. I don't count half pounds but they do motivate me to eat carefully.
Got my mammogram book for July 2 so now I'll try and book the car servicing for the same day. Dh and I are driving to Toronto for a Blue Jays game on the 29th so by then the car will definitely be ready for its 40,000 mile check up.
Today I have to walk over and pick up my prescription. Aside from that and a bit of housework, I have nothing on until this evening when we go to the theatre. Not looking forward to this play but it is the last in the series for this year and supposed to be something special. Doesn't sound like it is to my taste.
Edited to correct 100,000 mile checkup to 40K checkup. Don't know what I was thinking! Anyway, the appointment is booked.

I concur with this assessment, based on my experience.
Dcleaning lady is running a bit behind, which gives me just a little bit more time.
Was going to say also that dh's aunt P is coming in next Wednesday, so I'm dealing with dd at the same time we have a house guest. Daunt is coming on Wed 10th and leaving Sunday the 14th and will be using dd's room. Dd is leaving on Tuesday the 16th. Dd has "gone limp" as far as doing things to get ready for the trip and she is running out of time. She needs long, light weight pants that fit her, a trowel which she needs to order online, a credit card, for which dh put money into a savings account for her to get a secured card, and several other major items which she shows no sign of taking care of yet. She also doesn't have a clue - as far as I know - who she is staying with in Israel and where she is going. I am just feeling sick with her undone stuff - don't want to treat her like a child either but these things are getting critical.
Heading upstairs for some clean up before dcleaning lady is here.
Bookie, condolences to you and dh on your dmil's passing.

Good Morning! A quick break from Conga for a second cup of coffee.
BookSaver, my sympathy for the loss of your dmil. Prayers for you and dh and his dfamily as you gather tomorrow in celebration of her life.
Also thinking of Dee today and her dd as they travel home. Hope the weather stays good for you!
Safe travels also for Helia's dd19! Hope Maia is ok.
((Twins)). Maybe dd is a bit nervous about her upcoming trip.
I have one LOL in dryer and another waiting to go into washer. I's starting to gather things together for our trip next week. Kitchen in clean for the moment, bedroom straightened up. I want to finish weekly routine so I'm ready for the weekend without much fussing.
BBL, have a good day everyone!

Checking in.
Thinking of Dee traveling.
Also thinking of ((Booksaver and Mr. Booksaver)) as they celebrate dmil's life tomorrow.
The vet didn't find anything conclusive after an exam, X Rays, and looking down Maia's throat the best he (and techs) could. So, that is good, I guess. At least there is no major obstruction. He thought he might have seen some abrasions in her throat so she's now on antibiotics just in case. She's not really gagging/retching that much anymore.
WW said I was up 1 lb. *sigh* Not unexpected and it could have been worse with restaurant eating 3x/day for 5 days during my trip. The ladies at the front desk recommended the etools app for my phone for something different. I might give that a try. Now that I have a definite goal to shoot for, doing well on the hike in Iceland, I think I'll do better with WW and exercise.
Dd19 has discovered that neither her phone nor my old phone will work in Guatemala. As long as she stays with others in the group, she should be OK. Others have phones, and there are plans for her to be met at the airport there. But still, it makes me feel a little worried.
Next:
- finish a.m. routine
- update Engrade
- look over materials for today; I will end up at the school early so I'll do the bulk of my planning once there. That is a better use of my time rather than having 30 minutes with nothing to do.

Morning y'all...
I am on the fast track this morning so excuse me but I will just say ditto to everything Sunny said
Unusual day here as it is storming with thunder and lightening. I am hosting a retirement luncheon for a friend this Sunday and have begun my preparations. Planned to do a grocery run this morning but will put it off to this afternoon.
My home is in pretty good order and as Kathryn likes to say I just need to tidy up a bit. Tomorrow I will put my table together and set it. I am making chix salad sandwiches but won't put them together till Sunday.
Gotta run... Laundry needs to be flip. Waving to y'all... Hope you have a great day
