Meant to post this when I made out this second 3 months of laundry cards - fixed it so that our family names aren't visible, but otherwise this is it. All I changed this time around was to print the titles in script, and it made them look nicer, but anyway this is what I mean by having lines beside the names of loads. I use a red pen to put " 5/6 " or whatever date it is beside them when they are done. And then I know how long it's been since something was done, or where I'm falling behind, where I am in rotation, etc. By the end of the month, a laundry card is full of red dates.
headings are "main" and "mini"
the main loads are bigger ones like darks, jeans, tees and sweats, linens and towels
the mini ones are smaller, like reds, lights, small towels, some extras that have to be washed separately[/color]

Seasonal Clothing Switch Card is up I did that one today. Sweaters are out of the drawers are in the basement now. Yea for progress!

Wed. is desk day card for some, errand day card is up for others, laundry card eod every other day is working well for me.

I feel as though the coming week's card decisions are "on hold" because we don't know whether dd36's family will be able to come this weekend. It really makes all the difference in the plan for every day of the week, to know whether they are coming or not. Hmmm... ...
So for first of week, Mon and Tues - I'm thinking - maybe I should get as many of the week's non-housework cards done as I can? Then plan a Heavy Cleaning Day on Thursday and another heavy half-day of cleaning Friday?
Also during first of week I could think in terms of doing any of the cards that are actually falling behind.. ...the ones that really can't wait, no matter what deadlines I have later!
Well, my plan is to sleep on it and come up with a plan!
For food while they are here, I need to have a plan, too. My hope would be that they would walk in to see a nice bowl of really attractive fresh fruit on the table, to inspire the boys to eat fresh foods with us. Then also a very good veggie tray, also very fresh. So this says to me I need to push grocery shopping card back to Thursday or Friday, too.
