Windy Wednesday PWYC

Post by Twins' Mom »

Wind advisory here again today - I know Harriet and Lucylee are also experiencing it, and the weather's probably moved through LadyM's area already? Whether it's physically windy where you are, it is March, after all.

Dh just let me know that the dinner meeting he had for tonight got cancelled. Sigh. I was looking forward to the extra time because I didn't use my day very wisely yesterday. I did dig in late afternoon and got some things done, but I was looking forward to extra time tonight.

Dh said that dd called him yesterday and, although she didn't quite apologize she did say thank you and was pleasant. She texted me Monday evening to thank me after all the hubbub, and I reminded her to thank dh. Let me know that he had a bad day on Monday - very busy - and that a client had died and he had sorting out to do, and had just got done with a late meeting when she called him...

LadyM, as soon as I went to check the Chrome version it started updating, then asked me about restarting the browser. So I'm good. Thanks for the heads up!

I need to get moving this morning!

Good Morning!

Twins - Thanks for the start.

Micro went with me to deliver DD10 to school. Although Micro loves to go places with me I'm sure he was wishing that cold wind wasn't part of the deal this morning.

The storm blew through last night with lots of energy and noise, but thankfully it did no damage here.

Routines 1 & 2 are completed. Now to do the other routines. *poof*

Caaaaaathhhhhhyyyyyy.....can you come out and play with us today?

I agree Cathy needs to come and play!

today I am "supposed" to have a landscape architect come and help me with my ideas for the back room at 11:00 but we are supposed to have huge storms today.

last night I fell asleep here at the house - I hadn't planned on it but my headache was bad. It was comfortable but dh was disappointed and a bit hurt that I didn't go there last night.

what has to be done:
bank: get cash for lady

Thank goodness it is Wednesday - I can move back into the house on Saturday morning - no furniture though. I have an appointment with the painter at 8 and at 9 the owner of the wood floor company is coming over for the other 1/2 of the payment.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Glad you can see the light at the end of the tunnel, Blessed. You're going to like your new 'digs' so much! Sure your dh will be glad when it's all done.

Been figuring out how to up my protein input to see if it makes a difference in my weight loss. For as little as I'm eating you'd think I'd be losing big guns. But I'm thinking my diet is too carb heavy right now -things like mashed potatoes, macaroni, other soft foods. We'll see. DD buys "P remier Protein" and I used one of those coupled with just the powder from my C arnation I nstant B reakfast. Made a really protein total. Not sure what I'm having for dinner. They're fixing tacos and I don't think I can eat the tomatoes/lettuce. Maybe I'll make one with just the meat, cheese, sour cream, salsa, soft taco.

Dh left quite a while ago to go to DBIL's house with new house keys that he bought yesterday. Think dbil's niece might be there by now and he can give her one. Think he bought 4. I know we have keys to their house but haven't used them in a number of years so not sure which ones they are. Perhaps I'll compare with dh's new one. Eventually this house will be DS-R's so will give him the extras. And make sure dd has one -though I'm sure she does.

Think DSisil's obituary should be in the paper today or at least by tomorrow.

Nancy - BWTG on having a great start to your day!

Routines #1-5 are completed. Homeschool is in progress and going smoothly.

I called our family doc and made appt for DS13 tomorrow and an appt for me next week.

DH is at his DMom's bank getting her account records updated to POA. Hopefully DMIL can stop worrying and stressing about her money being taken by DSIL.

Build a mountain is on the menu for today. Sorta like tacos but all the ingredients piled on the plate instead of inside a taco shell.

Hmmm....not even "TACO Tuesday OR Thursday" and we're both having them (well, sort of) for dinner. Dsonil actually stopped and picked up TACO seasoning. Thought we had some and had originally planned on them for dinner last night. Lots of Chili seasonings but not TACO.

Dh's vitamins arrived in a 'big' box from S am's Club. Cracks me up sometimes.

Need to figure something for my lunch. I know  -tomato soup/crackers (at least they soften in the soup).

Wind, yes but. Cold and overcast, too. Chilly in this house with boys

Hrh had appt and came back by here with pancakes for all. Big hit but we haven't heard dd42s opinion yet! Frankly, so many things happen over a long day that there may be too much to tell to even get back it. Probably way down the list.

One bit of drama is puppy has not pooped. I hope this remains drama and doesn't become messy!
