FILLING FRIDAY

Post by DeeClutter »

Sure that any one of us (or ALL of us) can find ways to fill this day -beyond any doubt! Happy Friday to you.

Dh and I are getting ready to go grocery shopping soon. Have DBiscuit staying with us in this small area called our home for the summer. She constantly wants to go out. Dh finally tied her out and I haven't heard from her since. She has an electric fence over at DD's but not here.

Mystery, did you happen to see my post on Tuesday? Had a question for you.

Need to make an appointment (and definitely ASAP) to get my hair cut. So will try to do that later today. Figured out today it's been almost 9 weeks and it's showing.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

Checking in after the storm last evening. No branches down here yea!
Did my stretching exercises.
Did one fun errand & went to a yard sale scored a box fan & Starbucks cup.
Placed a order for one book July.
Goals stuff.

Lunch was V-8
Raked up some seeds.
More rounds of storms here over head today.
Thunder is done, it is raining now.
More rain & thunder.
The good news is that I got in a round of weeding on the driveway between them & seeds are down so
I can rake em up!

I know my sleep apnea hit me last night. I am on a waitlist for the cpap machine.
I went back to sleep this morning as the dogs were restless last night - I got caught in dreams which I do not like but I am awake and ready to start - lol it's 10:42 and I am finally up and about

Today's goal: 15 minutes an area game - I have been playing the bingo game on minimal mom group I belong to. she created a bingo card and pulls up something to go through. Shoes was one day, I don't know what was yesterday. She gives out sb or amazon gift cards $10 to winners during the month. It's not for winning, for me; it's just for fun! Anytime I can make work fun then it's an adventure instead of a chore.

So my ADHD doesn't take over:
1. meds :D
2. s2s :D
3. put away breakfast dishes :D
4. start sprinkler :D
next set
1. a. empty dw :D put away on counter :D clean sink :D
2. white laundry :D
3. my laundry darks
4. after lunch - wash lunch dishes - cooked dinner :D
5. turn on dw again :D

next
1. turn off water in the back
2. turn on water in the front
3. flip laundry to dryer
4. put away the one basket of cloths

a must today: remark where the dry river bed will go
and charge batteries. set up the sawz all for tomorrow.

1 errand.
I ordered target and will pick up in a couple hours
I ordered bricks and will have them delivered on Tuesday
paid landscaper

Good morning!

Dee, DD at least remembers our visit and playing with your DGD. I don't know about DC; they are still sleeping, and as they have had trouble sleeping the past few nights due to an ear infection, I'm letting them.

Glad Nancy got through her storm unscathed; glad, too, that I got my CPAP before supply chain disruptions were a thing. Ugh, blessed, I remember the days where 10 am was too early, and I could doze off in an office chair in the afternoons. I hope your CPAP comes soon.

Trying to get myself to do anything of the many things I should be doing. I think next up for me will be to rearrange the living room to make room for the air mattress and get it inflated, then persuade DD to hang out on there instead of the couch. If we don't have to buy a new one, we will come out ahead of switching hotel rooms by about $200; if we do have to buy one, we'll still come out ahead, though. (A friend had an extra room reserved that was a 2 queen room; ours is a king room that probably doesn't have a sofa bed (though king rooms in the next level down in this chain do :x ), but the cancellation fee would have been $200, as I got the room at the convention rate.)

After the sofa bed, I really should clean the bathroom; I've been putting it off. But maybe I'll have lunch first. A cheese sandwich, maybe, to make a smidge more room in the tiny fridge, or maybe some of the pizza rolls that had thawed enough before we got them into the stand-up freezer that they're probably fused. At any rate, I should go make myself useful.
I've got my country's 500th anniversary to plan, my wedding to arrange, my wife to murder, and Guilder to frame for it; I'm swamped. -- Prince Humperdinck

Good Morning!

I have enjoyed CUOP and reading your thoughts, plans and doings.

I had a rare night of bad sleep. I finally got 6 hours of sleep but had one of the lowest sleep scores (80) that I've ever had. I don't have any idea why. DS13 was a handful but that isn't anything out of our normal. Ohs well.

Team cleaning happened this morning. Although I haven't finished my part yet.

We have had 4 medical appts this week so far. We have 3 more this afternoon. DS13 has a doctor appt for acne. I have doctor appt to find out the results of all the heart testing they did. DH will take DMIL to her chiropractor appt.

Every spare moment I have continues to be spent on nutritional class. Today I received a detailed report analyzing the food I ate in the last 7 days. Its focus is on 34 micronutrients in the proper amounts. The first goal is to meet the Reference Dietary Intakes (RDI) for each nutrient that are designed to prevent diseases of deficiency. Once I get that accomplished then I will work toward optimal amounts. There are also ratios between some of the nutrients that need to be monitored and tweaked. All this tweaking is done by adding or removing real food so once you know what nutrient you're lacking, then you find the food that provides that nutrient and include it in your eating plan. Repeat...repeat...repeat

hello d mystery! thank you for the good thoughts for the cpap machine shipping. they wouldn't give me a whole mask - only a nose one. I will see how that goes. I hope I get used to it fast!
that cancelation fee sounds large for the hotel!
sending you a wonderful day!

hello d lady! I hope tonight is better for a good and gentle night sleep! oh my goodness - 4 doctor appointments - you will have a busy week -please do something for you next week!
Wishing you a wonderful day as well!

dh is worrying me. He had felt really bad for about a month - he is still insisting we go to Kentucky for the family gathering. I haven't made hotel reservations yet.

dh had another blood test yesterday, at his doctor's office, as he was informed that his sodium is dangerously low. I still think it's the newer bp meds. Today he felt very weak but ate something and is feeling better - at first I thought that this thin man has diabetes but I wonder if it's his sodium dropping again.

CI:

* Phone calls

-- dmom -- new phone screen is "too small," she can't read the name on caller ID and it doesn't "announce" the calls... smh... no, she doesn't want me to replace it... she will read the instruction manual...

-- doctor -- asked for rx for dh, made dmom appt for next week

-- ddil -- couple of calls... she has now tested positive for Covid and feels like she has the flu... decided we will keep dgs till Monday, probably, since ds is out of town this weekend. Her parents can help her with dgd and we will keep dgs from being exposed. SHE was probably exposed last weekend, or possibly the last week of May, when she was at a meeting with preacher and another church member who have tested positive. We are hoping dgs has NOT been exposed through her! (DH still feels miserable, but it is no different from what he had earlier. He just asked for another round of the antibiotic he took a few weeks ago.)
This is not good for dmom next week, but we will only be gone two days... sigh...

Whew...

* Post office, grocery store, Taco Bell for dgs

* Wrote checks for a couple of bills

I am really in no mood to do anything... it's good to have dgs here though, keeps my mind on dwelling on myself and my own thoughts.
I am eating too much and it makes me feel extra sluggish.
Tomorrow is another day.

NORMAL is my favorite word today. I loved hearing NORMAL repeated over and over as the doctor was going over my heart test results. #Thankful

I stopped at drive-in on the way home and got the kids food to eat.

There are a gazillion things that I could do, a few things that I should do, but all I am interested in doing is nutritional studies.
