Aren't you glad they brought us all today with this system that so many of us have used, modified, and adapted?

I'm heading out to walk a few laps. I sure did sleep well last night.

I'm sitting here with a fairly organized house, all the clean laundry is away and there is only 1 dirty pot thanks to routines, schedules and my card file! Thanks P & P!!

To top it all off, we are going out for Vietnamese food for supper. It's too hot to cook.

Morning..

My day is busy. My mom is resting comfortably in the hospital. She did break her hip but we don’t know how bad it is. Won’t know till after her surgery which is scheduled for 7:30 this evening.

I have several important phone calls to make. One to Medicare and one to the rehab to request a written report to explain what happened to my mom. My brother and I were told two different things and so was the hospital. We don’t think anyone was around when she either fell trying to get out of her wheel chair or she “slid” out of it. Either way we don’t know if she was by herself or left unattended.

Today is wishy washy day. Plus I need to change the bedding and wash those sheets. I didn’t get to sleep until 1:00 this morning so I’m tired. I have a gym class at 10:00 as well. Yesterday the two classes really put me through the paces and I was soaking wet when I left to go home.I’m surprised I’m not more sore than I am.

d Twins, Thank you for celebrating the day that Pam and Peggy started their adventure that helped all of us!!! I am still so grateful to Pam and Peggy! I was a teen when my dad got my mom the book - which I devoured. I have had a multiple of copies over the years as that first book I borrowed out, since then I have gone trough multiple copies that fell apart or I thought I didn't need/want anymore.

hello to all!!!

I have been taking naps in the afternoon since I came back! I don't like that at all. I literally become exhausted.
Hoping today's cooler temps gets me past the temporary, I hope, afternoon nap!

It's 71 this morning!!! Yay!!!!

"Only seventy-seven" degrees here so far. I walked about 30 min altho I stopped to talk several times. Walked some with a neighbor and caught up with her. She had COVID in early May and still feels fatigued and headachy.

Cathy, I don't think of your area as one where the temp would be over 100 degrees. Take care of yourself, glad you're not cooking today.

Harriet, it amazes me that COVID isn't taken more seriously these days. So many people flying without masks, many at temple on Sunday (I watched on Zoom) without masks. At least the temple sent an email that someone there on Sunday by Tuesday had COVID. Didn't say whether they were masked or not.

I think Nancy is the only one of us inclined to do outside chores right now! Congrats on working on gutters, that's hard work.

I was glad to see Sunny looking in yesterday - what a nice time you and dsis have had! Makes me happy to think of you two together!

LadyM, your ds learned a good lesson this week about eating in the heat. Please keep us updated on dgs?

Last night dh and went out to eat. It was hot hot hot and we had to wait awhile in the hot foyer of the restaurant - we didn't call ahead for seating and their side porch was too hot for comfort. I felt over heated even at the table, I don't think their A/C was keeping up. Dh is in quite a mood these days. Nothing seems to be right for him, he has something of the Eeyore thing going. I can't blame him about the market but he was so negative about everything. Not an altogether pleasant evening.

And my PCR test is still positive, although I've read it can stay positive for awhile. But I should definitely not be contagious at this point.

I had breakfast - lox, cream cheese and everything seasoning, boiled egg and strawberries.

Just finally had breakfast (a skinny bagel w/cream cheese & orange marmalade). Now I'm sipping my morning iced coffee. Then dh and I are going down to fold laundry and bring it back to be put away.

Know our weather is calling for HOT, possible severe storms, possibly hail and even a tornado watch. Ok that's enough for today. Dh was actually supposed to work today, but did it yesterday because of the forecast.

You've been at your DSis' for some time, Sunny. Glad for the 2 of you that you've had a lengthy visit.

Need to get my morning have-to's listed and get busy.

I am glad you are feeling well! My brother was positive for 4 weeks but they had him on a 14 day stay at home and then said he could go out.
