FABULOUS FRIDAY

Seems fabulous to me today after a good night's sleep. I know I dreamt quite a bit through the night though (thinking of Blessed here). Realized one of my dreams was that I finally realized I was completely bald on the top of my head. Had to check this morning. Whew! Still have hair albeit it somewhat thin. Though I do believe my hair is finally thickening a bit -I seemed to shed a very lot in the months after my fall last December. Still feeling the effects of all that in my mouth (oh how I wish those teeth/gums would heal!) and in my wrist/hand. But it is what it is and I'll live with it.
Dh is outside puttering. He's actually taking dd's car to take in a load of cans/bottles later this morning. The guy who bought the recycling business from dh back in the early 90's is finally retiring and has stopped using his major business. He's kept one recycling store but dh is taking his things to his warehouse this morning. The most he can take is 5 big bags at a time now. He figured close to $70 today. We've actually prepared a screen for the back part of our deck (to hide it) so he can do his recycling there. Since the campground has been sold dcampowner (former but still in charge for a few years) can no longer do the recycling he did. Know he always had dh sorting cans/bottles for him toward his fireworks show each 4th of July -of course that hasn't been held now in 3 years. The plan was to do the show last Labor Day but Covid still prevailed. So, finally, the show is on in a couple of weeks. We're left wondering if he will do it in the future. It's the 25th year in 2022. People line up on the surrounding roads (it's a mile square) to watch every year. Do know that this winter they're putting in a new swimming pool along with a 'pool bar'. So they're extending our rec hall for that. Then they're taking down the store/office and another storage building plus one beautiful tree and building a new store/office. Things are a'changing. Our fear is it will become a 'resort' rather than just a family campground. We shall see won't we! Know dh and I aren't going anywhere for as long as we can stay here. Next step would be assisted living and we're hoping that won't be for several years if ever.
Harriet, what were you still doing up at 1am for goodness sake? Sunny, hope your trip back to your dson's today is uneventful. Know you will miss seeing your dsis every day. Life is full of adjustments isn't it!
