I am in the mode of What should you do?

I know I should work inside but today it will be in the high 80's and I don't like working outdoors in the heat. I love weather from 55 to 70 so when it hits the 80s, 90's, 100's, I am not a happy camper when it comes to working outside. I can play in 80's but working in 80's with humidity does not make a happy blessedw2

I am going to see where the day leads me.

BTW — I stopped eating last night after I had the banana. So last night wasn’t as big a failure as it could have been!

Think I'm not doing any kind of dancing today. I slept until about 11pm from maybe 9:30pm. That was it. My fitbit says I got 42 minutes. Had to get up this morning to take dh to get a Covid test and lab work. We went into a hospital for the Covid and thought he was getting lab work there. They told him to go about a mile to a lab where he's gone before. Got there and there were at least 30 in line so he came back out. Went from there back about 8 miles from here and he was in all of 10 minutes. Of course when they had to put a tourniquet on she asked if he was on blood thinners and he said no. I told him, YES E liquis IS a blood thinner. At least that step(s) is done for his hospital stay Monday. Did call the cardiologist's office when I got home as someone had asked me if we were sure he had to be on the E liquis or stop a few days before. Yes, stay on it -that's what I thought they told me last week.

Quiet here this morning. Think I'm going to try shutting my eyes for a few before I leave for my bone scan this afternoon.

hi dear everyone.

I planted 3 more Larkspur and one snow thimble fox glove. I love the regular delphinium but for some reason they keep saying it won't grow here. I have grown them for years and they do beautifully here. The garden centers have told me they are an annual here -nope they were a perennial for years in this area and suddenly poof - they have decided it is an annual.

CI Today I lingered over my planning you know I had to play with my new stickers!LOL!
I rounded up bags , buckets, box and crate , step stool, and ladder for plum picking this weekend,
Walked the ddog yea!
Had bfast.

Blessed - Thanks for the start today. I have music playing here and have danced my way to 4k steps so far today.

I slept poorly with a sleep score 20 points lower than my normal, but I have lots of energy today. I suspect I am running on adrenalin in support of DMIL91. I wonder how adrenalin and steroid shot compare? Both give an abundance of temporary energy.

DH spent the night at DMIL home and was there to meet with the nurses this morning. DMIL is in her bed and is refusing to get up for any reason. The nurses are preparing the family for DMIL to be at the end of life (EOL). The nurses ordered the EOL comfort drugs which were delivered to our home at 2am this morning. I met them at our front door and signed for the medication.

I have seen DMIL in worse shape than this before and she pulled through it. However, this time is different in that she keeps saying "I want to go home". They tell DMIL that she is in her home, but DMIL shakes her head and repeats "I want to go home!". One of the nurses asked DMIL "Do you mean that you want to go home or to heaven?". DMIL said "To heaven"

DH came home around 10:30 this morning to do his personal daily tasks and to get some sleep. DSisIL is staying with DMIL until DH returns later today.

Team cleaning is happening this morning except for our bedroom where DH is sleeping.

oh dear lady - ((()))) it's so hard.
This happened with my d grandmother - she was just so tired and wanted to be at peace for living a good life the best she could. I am praying for you and your dh and especially your d mil. hoping tonight you and your dh can rest. Praying for peaceful hearts during this time. I am thinking of you!

I am so jealous. I want a plum tree - we had one but it got old and had to be taken out.

dh doesn't believe me that the old birch in the front is dying. He said he will make an appointment with an arborist - He will pay for it. I don't know why he doesn't believe me that it can't be saved and that it is better to bring it down before winter.

by I feel spoiled! time to work outside again. I bought some ground cover and 2 large orange mums. I know I may have to replace them again! I will see. dog already tried laying on one of them.
