Can't believe I'm only the 2nd person here today. We're home already. The drive in was not great as far as I was concerned. Decided then and there that if/when Dh ever has to be somewhere for procedures that early (6am) I will take friends/family up on their offer of driving us in. We are home. Talked with the dr. The procedure of shocking the heart was done right in his own bed in the holding area of the Cath lab. Dr said his heart is in rhythm -after all this time. Have to go back to him fairly soon for a follow up but not sure when yet. Dh's boss and another RVer who happened by helped dh get inside and into his recliner. Says he feels like a mac truck hit him "both ways". Mostly he's dozing now, sleeping off the anesthesia. Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, concerns. Maybe now we'll start getting some rest. Know the last couple of nights I've gotten very little either night. I was up at 3:30 this morning.
Have to do the dishes and I think that's going to be just about it for today. Did get my bed made first thing.

(Dee) I'm glad that is done and you are home. Sorry the trip in was hard and so early. Good idea having someone go with or drive you to things like this.
I was up really early; up and getting ready as DH says oh sorry I forgot to call you. Good thing I didn't wait on him! We went to his GP appointment and arrived a bit early. Waited a bit in the car before going in. Gal in the back office had a mask on. Patients were not required to wear them. Dr. had one on too. Lab work came back good, just a record-keeping appointment. DH says he wasn't concerned about anything except all the appointments and remembering them, thinks he can't do that by himself.
Calendars updated. Bulletin board cleaned off and organized again. I had to call and make appointment at his lab place.
We were going to stop and pick up more paint but the guy who mixes their paint isn't there today. So we will have to go tomorrow.
Plan for today: catch up my study. Do the flower gardening out front. I think I'll do that first before it gets hotter. I got most dailies done before we left.
Y'all have a nice day!

I'm here - back home at about eleven last night. I had driven home from ATL so stayed up a little while unwinding after driving. I allowed myself to sleep in as long as I wanted. I missed the funeral but am watching the march at Windsor now while having coffee and waking up.
Sometime later today I need to *get it all together* and look to the next week, and to Rosh Hashanah in a week.

((((Dee)))) - Thank you for letting us know. Yes, rest is a priority and hopefully you and DH can relax now.
DH is home from spending a long night with DMIL. DH immediately fell asleep once he made it home. DMIL didn't sleep and was hallucinating all night, so DH stayed awake with her. She sees deceased family & friends and can describe exactly where they are standing in her home and what they are doing. DMIL is such a gentle soul that even when she doesn't know any of us or what is happening now, she is always kind. There was one aut-oh happened last night while DH was in the bathroom, DMIL got out of bed and fell which resulted in 2 small cuts to her head and hand. Thankfully DMIL didn't break anything, and DH was able to clean her cuts and bandage them without calling for help. The social worker just called for a list of supplies needed. I gave her DSiL number to call since DSiL is staying with DMIL today.
DS14 has been working on his homeschool assignments. I need to check his progress and work one-on-one with him if needed.

d lady - so hard!!! I am thinking of your dh and your family. My dearest mom in law met with friends that were not there as well your d mil is doing now. She had the sweetest conversations with lots of giggles. She was happy in these talks. I am so sorry she fell.
It's such a hard time. I am praying for her and all of you.
thank you for starting us.
d twins. welcome home!
d harmony good morning!
dh, dd older and I went to a lovely family party yesterday.
I was able to get rid of all my mini pumpkins as well.
came home to socks scattered everywhere. dd had bought me some socks and they had been in the package. well now they are all over the place. such stinkers. I am still finding them.
Monday: I want to weed. plant 5 ground covers.
I have a Charlie Brown painted head for a scarecrow that I made years ago - I no longer have the snoopy or other characters. I will set up in my pumpkin patch - I always wanted to do that.
I have Monday, weekly, chores. (kitchen)

Twins - Welcome home! How was your weekend trip?
DS14 sat at the kitchen bar practicing his Spanish assignment while I listened and cooked. I assembled a healthy soup that made most of the micronutrient scores turn green. Today I start a 100 day challenge with myself. I found and dusted off my previous spreadsheets and am now tracking and focusing on what I eat and my daily step goal. I lost 15 lbs the last time I did a 100 day challenge. I would be thrilled if it happened again. I have been wanting to commit to doing something but just didn't have the will, focus or bandwidth for it. I finally decided to put a priority on taking care of myself and to make it happen. Once that decision was finally made and I assembled my method, then I started to get some hope and excited about doing it.
next up - Finish the 5 routines before leaving. This afternoon is my monthly infusion therapy appt at the hospital. I will pick up Chinese food on my way out of the city.
