Happily skipping through the SHE village in anticipation of cooler weather. The temperatures are still in the high 90's here.

thinking of d lynlee with you d Cathy.
D Cathy good morning and thank you for starting us on the first day of Autumn!
I am north of Chicago and we have the cool weather today (63 will be the high) after a lot of hot/humid. It should be coming your way soon.
hello everyone.
I have been having a hard time with purpose lately and getting bored with the daily/etc. work. I think I might be having depression and need to expand my learning again.
have a wonderful day!!!
time for the timer - I do better with a timer.

I am also anticipating cooler weather. We were close to 100 with the "feels like" temp yesterday but today starts a cool down. Only 87 for a high today and 77 for tomorrow (good, because I'll have brisket in the oven tomorrow.)
Today is grocery store and UPS store drop off (that I didn't do on Tuesday or Wed.) The brisket is out of the freezer thawing. The guy may be coming this afternoon to finish the pantry, so I need to s2s and get groceries and get back home for the afternoon.
I'm kind of rotating through the house doing things as I seem them. Straightening up our closet right now. The shelves need dusting but I probably won't do for fear of setting off an allergy attack.

(The camels may or may not have already moved in...) Dh has some shelves on his side and they are right in front of the door when it's open so I'm adding straightening up the shelves to his honey do list.
A bite on the microwave from a neighbor for her dd's college dorm next year. I told her I'd consider it a graduation present if they want it.
Also thinking of Lynlee!

landscapers are here.
I kept thinking I had to do monthly cards but I have decided to do Monthlies from November to April for now. I just can't and don't want to do it now.
I don't have the mental capacity right now. I don't want to over goal which would mean my ADHD would take over and I would get nothing done.
As my depression has taken over - I have been binging - sleeping a lot - and my body is so bad right now. I feel unhealthy bc I let my habits go - I need to go back to the timer and choose one job and only one major job per day for a while.
s2s
breakfast and put away
meds
headache again
finish watering the pots outside.
finished putting fencing around new plantings as dogs are running through the meadow rue

Happy Autumn!
I had a decent night's sleep all things considered.
I just am eating my breakfast however. Been busy ever since 8 o'clock.
Dh took a load of laundry down to the laundry room for me. Have to watch the dates next month as we near the end of the season. Supposedly they're turning off the water as early as October 26th, So, want to be sure I have as much done as I possibly can.
Dh has decided that they have 'enough' help to shut down the park and would like to leave for FL about the same time as I do (which is October 29th). We're waiting on making plane reservations for Dsonil to fly up until we're sure what is going to happen with this infection/testing for him. According to what we read he may have had this infection for some time -who knows? I'm surprised though that nothing was caught when he was in the hospital in June with the UTI and Afib. But then maybe it's only been since then. Guess it can be caused by improper food handling, food preparers not washing their hands, contaminated food or water. The infection is evidently both in the stomach and the liver. Know it's a very restricted diet. We're trying to go with the flow.
Dh asked me this morning if there was a way we could bring his heavier jackets in. It's stink bug season and he finds them in his coats. Ewww. So I did some rearranging and brought in the coat rack.

Just had a call from the PA (from the Gastro dr's office). He as well as we had concerns about this regimen for the H pylori infection along with his taking Eliquis. The Eliquis was started before dh's Cardioversion and is supposed to continue for 30 days. So for the moment dh's treatment for the infection have been suspended. We will see the cardiologist in the morning and we can discuss this new wrinkle then. We voiced our concern over not being able to get in touch with the Gastro office. PA told us to just go through the online messaging and he'd keep track and get back to us. It seems this is an ongoing problem that isn't going away soon (the communication that is). I've been reading on diet suggestions and we'll at least get those implemented.
The first day of Autumn finds us with cooler temps as well. High today is 59 and it's actually falling from there already.
Dh and I need to go down and get our laundry but right at the moment it's pouring. He said it rained hard during the night -probably somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2". I never heard it -unusual for me!
We did have a short discussion about us using just bottled water (here) as we don't definitely know but what this water could be contaminated. At any rate it's better $$ spent than it being a possible cause.
