hello d twins and hello d lady and all the friends that enter here (and all the friends we have made all of these years in our She world).
yesterday for some reason I had a hard time moving around-but I did get work done. Today I feel so much better.
Today - my hope
put away and trash
weed left side of yard in zone 1 and then I should be pretty much caught up in the back.
maybe pull stones - redo and add pea gravel
ask for help from dd older. (she has been making some incredible meals. She made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies which are more like a breakfast bread cookie- not too sweet. Tastes like pumpkin bread in a cookie form.
put on my list to buy (putting it here bc I am too lazy to go find a piece of paper lol)
tarp.
Thinking out loud.
what I would love to do this week:It's always a hope.
pull the flowers in the front as I know that there will be a frost before I know it. The impatience become mush and I would rather get them now.
get a wheel barrel and toss out the old one.
weed zone 5 in front - dead things
Move the brick
weed the veggie garden before putting on compost and dirt. cover with cardboard for.
cleaning ladies on Thursday.
finish walkway pull stones
order d nieces Christmas present - order DNA test for her and for d brother.
be grateful
start up at gym again as I need to be ready for next year and if I don't start now than I won't feel great next summer.

Was thinking of Twins this morning and remembering that Rosh Hoshanna begins at Sundown today. Blessings to you and yours today.
I managed to get a whopping hour and a half of sleep last night. Lots of reasons for that (and Twins will understand this). Went down to our Boulder Hall for the band and appreciation buffet by the Pub owners. Too much socializing for sure. Then my arthritis reared its ugly head all night. Plus I have finally figured out I can't drink the Peach Ice tea that I've had all summer. ALWAYS end up with a female infection whenever I drink any citric drink like lemonade, Mtn D ew, and I should realize that. Raging one this time and it just plain kept me awake. So am dragging a bit today.
Have the water heated and next up is to get our dishes done.

(((Dee)))
Blessed - YGG! That is an ambitious plan
We are home from church and small groups. I was in the nursery with 3 little boys during small group. They are sweet one-year old that are super easy to care for and enjoy playing together. DH stayed for the 2nd service to do the communion, offering and prayers parts of that service.
I don't have anything planned for meals today so I'm going with quick and easy. I'll make a big tuna salad (4 cans) and experiment with making grilled cheese sandwiches in the air fryer.

Happy New Year's Twins'!!
My dd texted me this morning and, joy of joys, we will see her next Sunday. First time in a long time since we have actually seen her.
Yesterday morning I decided to empty my side of the closet and see what I could donate. I tried on numerous pairs of black pants. Donated numerous pairs that were just too tight or too narrow at the bottom. The price was right when I got them at a huge clearance (bankruptcy) sale a couple of years ago. I paid less than $5 per pair, so donating them with the tags still on them didn't bother me. I also got rid of at least 5 t shirts. Now my dresser is almost clear of the laundry mountain range (there were 3 separate piles altogether). Just a few pairs of dh's pants at the one end and a blanket at the other end. I have already dropped the stuff off.
Supper tonight will be a pot of cabbage soup, based on the diet soup recipe.

So sorry you're feeling poorly, Nancy.
Here I am progressing. But I called dfriends that we were to be with tonight and told them I needed to cancel. I was too stressed about getting things done and dd was, frankly, not cooperative. She said to come over whenever we wanted and eat with them if we were able - she just has to be at temple at 6:30 so will be leaving. Not sure what we'll do. Also dcousin in NY is having dd over for dinner tonight and we'll be able to Zoom with them if we're not somewhere else. We need to be at temple at 7:30ish and were going there at five.
I've made two challahs and have gefilte fish in the oven. I am still planning to make vegetarian chopped liver and I have basil in the refrigerator that I need to process to freeze. Dh (finally) went to the grocery for me. He's done some of the things I've listed for him. He was moving stuff around in the garage - we have a bookcase that was formerly next to the kitchen and I want it somewhere other than the DR so we were going to move to the garage. So he found a leak in the garage and had to move a lot more to get to where the leak is. We put a bucket under it - it's very slow so can wait until Tuesday if I call someone tomorrow.
So I need to clean up the kitchen and start another round....

Cathy - Yes, to joyfully looking forward to seeing your DD. BWTG on decluttering your clothes.
(((Nancy)))) hope you feel better soon.
(((Twins))) what a marathon you are experiencing! I hope you can enjoy the moments even though they can be hectic.
I have found a new-to-me youtube channel that I'm enjoying. The channel takes an Indepth IRL look at religions, cultures, and countries by letting the people share their stories and beliefs. I am currently watching a series about
Hasidic Jew community in NYC. They are careful to remind the viewers this is just one community of many and doesn't represent the entire Hasidic Jew population. I am fascinated by what I am learning and feel there is much that I want to take away from this series and incorporate into my life. I am savoring these videos, but I am also eager to learn more. After I finish this series, I might watch the one on
Ukraine. So much to learn....so little time.
