Re: Ta Da Tally Tuesday PWYC
My flu shot from Friday still hasn't hit me 'full-force' like it usually does but I've just been "blah". Of course it's usually around the 5-day mark so we'll see. Been battling with myself whether to get my Covid booster before or after I fly. My Dr was recommending spacing the two out. But, thinking of when I might be able to get it, I'm too afraid of it being too close to my flight time. Decisions, decisions!
It's down in the 30's at night now but still not quite frost stage -just almost.
We have a tele-conference with our financial advisor at 12:30 today. Just hope the questions I have for her make sense. We're wanting to move some of our funds from our banks over. The interest is so piddly and I think we can do better. OTOH I'm mighty grateful we have the funds available to do this.
Have my fitbit charging and need to start moving, albeit ever so slowly.

Re: Ta Da Tally Tuesday PWYC
One planned ta dah for me is getting body work today - my neck and shoulder need work. I'll also spent time working upstairs. I have five weeks and two days to get this thing finished!
Yesterday was not particularly productive. I didn't focus - what I was working on was hard, detail work, and my brain didn't want to do it. Then my dh called and said his evening appointment cancelled. He went and hung out with friends, so I was able to work on, but was still home earlier than I planned. I guess it was okay tho because my brain felt fried.
So I'm going to try to get upstairs for a bit before I leave for body work.
Happy anniversary to the Mr and Mrs. Lucylee!

Re: Ta Da Tally Tuesday PWYC
Well, yesterday took a U-turn. I did get the bed remade with fresh sheets, 2 loads of laundry done (and dh took care of finding towels for himself since I was interrupted in the middle of my 2 hour push by a neighbour.) I did get one zone chore done, plus vacuumed the office and kitchen.
Dgs1.5 had a difficult night and thus slept in the car on the way to the city. Which meant no nap. On the other hand, his dad slept for an hour in the living room recliner and nearly missed his appointment (I was busy dealing with dgs and didn't keep an eye on the clock.)
So my plan to do quiet dusting or paperwork while dgs slept went out the window.
I tried for a nap 90 minutes late, but he would have none of it, so dh and I took him out for a walk to the store and picked up some groceries. His dad finished the appointment before we were home so he left when we got back.
Unfortunately, I was tired by then so had a snack, the afternoon video call with the other grands, helped dh prep burgers from some of the ground beef we bought, and then it was time for dinner. The evening was a wipe-out, we didn't even practice music for Thursday's concert.
I slept well last night, though. I managed to get the bedroom cool enough to sleep but not cold.
So far today, I've just moved my zone chore list into the bedroom and found a mayoral debate to listen to while I work. And I've unloaded the dishwasher.
My to-do list is very long, since I still have half of yesterday's heavy housework to do, plus a ton of zone chores (they haven't been properly done/charted since January) and paperwork is piling up. We'll practice music after lunch. Maybe I'll skip a walk today although I have my new poles to test out.
Twins: I'm impressed that you take the time to care for your body. And I'm impressed by the others who do regular exercise/self-care. I live with someone like that and I seem to rebel against it and am wearing myself down as a result. At least I can still get onto the floor to play, even crawling around a bit (no problem on the carpet but the hardwood over concrete is too much for my.) I can even get back up again! Not without grunts and groans, but I do get back up!!!

It's so good to see your posts, Kathryn!
Twins, thank you for giving us permission to count each "TA-DA" today. I'm listing each and every one and I'm already up to 36. But now I need to take a break.

Happy anniversary Lucylee!
I turned the alarm off this morning and almost fell back to sleep before I realized I wasn't in break mode. We were 15 minutes late getting through our AM schedule, but we had some wiggle room built into the schedule so DD11 still arrived at school on time.
I've written down things that are weighing OMM and put them in a loose priority. I am so far behind on everything that it seems hopeless to ever be caught up. I am trying to remain focused on the items that are priority & time critical and ignore the other things. However, I can still feel the weight of the ignored items as they wait and wait and wait for me to give them focus & effort.

I've been "ignoring" items too, Lady M. Now I'm backtracking while trying to do absolutely 1 thing at a time and giving myself credit for each and every one. Am now up to 45. Keep going says I!
Dh stopped in for a bathroom break -the bathhouses are simply too cold at this point. We have that conference call with our advisor at 12:30. He plans to stop in and give her any permission he needs to. Seems Corporate reps are here today and he needs to be working. Can't believe how the landscape is changing here as they prep for all the changes coming down the pike: new swimming pool, new hot tub, new store, new basketball court, new pickle ball court, new entrance. So many trees are being taken down it is really making an impact. Where our roadway meets the main road they're planning to close it off. Because the 1 pavilion and the children's playground had to be moved to make room for the swimming pool, they are now sitting one on each side of where our road begins. No problem right? Except they quickly realized that children were running back and forth from the pavilion to the playground. A disaster in the making with them running across the entrance to our road. So that's now being changed as well and a swing set they moved earlier will be placed there.

Re: Ta Da Tally Tuesday PWYC
On a short break.
I got several zone chores done plus the bedrooms vacuumed. Bedrooms and bathrooms are this week's zone and all chores (monthly. quarterly, semi and annual) are to be done since it has been a year since I actually did any zone work. I left some more for later in the week and the biggest ones (vacuuming under the beds) left for next month.
There was a fire alarm at one point and while I smelled something and was preparing to leave, the alarm ended. There was never an announcement as to what was up. That's is not good. I spent time in the hall talking to our new neighbour, giving her the rundown on what to expect. Basically, it is safe to stay here and I usually do, but it is good to have a checklist of what to do before leaving your apartment if you are going. I was just going to the cupboard to grab extra masks when the alarm stopped. That's something that would have been on my list if I actually had one written down. Mine is basically close windows, shut off cooking, grab computer, money, coat and boots, and meds. Take a wet cloth with me (in case of smoke in the stairwell) and then leave.
I've now had my breakfast. Dh reminded me we have a visitation out in the village tonight as well as me having a meeting so it is going to be a very busy day.
