Jump in the line and swish, swipe and Conga through the day knowing we're in this together!
Hello to Dove, who got to post yesterday.
Hoping Elizabeth's week ends on positive notes, and she can check in again.

It is nice to be back in here and not alone. Not sure how long I can stay, though.
Today's trip to an apple orchard is cancelled. I still have to go to dd's to drop off the car seat and purchase, though.
I'm still sitting at my keyboard in my night gown.
So that's item one.

yesterday was a budget day and dd older put everything on excel - everything from the last year. Budget is now set for a year. We have 2 weddings and probably 2 wedding showers and that raised our budget for sure.
I should get a part time job to fix the inside yard the way I want but I have less money in place for the garden and the house this next year.
we are hoping to buy a new couch and do the inside yard next year.
I would love to do the powder room but that is a big ticket item too.
I have to go pick up after myself and the dogs

my goodness I am going to have to pick up at night - I become blind to things when I am tired.
my hope is to work outside.

We had an immediate direction in which to swish here, lol! The kitchen sink needed a plunger. All is set to rights and the kitchen is spiffed.
More news in miniature this a.m. HRH is getting used to me rushing little plants to him in the mornings and expecting him to see tiny developments. lol. Buds today barely visible at the base of the largest baby violet, so it looks like I'll have blooms this winter when I know I'll be starving
for them. That is my main delight (and criteria) with houseplants - do they bloom? Very selfish! This is my mystery baby. Will she have blooms like her mother or is she a "child" of a plainer great-grand? Hmmm... will love her anyway!
I think we weathered (pun) the frosts of the last few nights and find ourselves in for remarkably high nighttime lows for this time of year for quite a while. Maybe even two weeks, which will make Trick or Treaters happy. This weekend especially looks great with sunny autumn days.

Good morning!
I woke up with my normal energy level today #SoThankful I was so happy to be feeling normal that I jumped right in and got busy. It feels good to feel good after experiencing a couple yucky low energy days.
I did normal routines and then picked the worst corner that needed decluttered, cleaned and organized. I moved furniture out of the way and hand washed everything (walls, baseboards, floors). Then I decided the purpose of that corner and selected furniture that would suit that purpose. Before I put furniture in its place, I turned it upside down and made sure it was clean. Almost none of the STUFF was returned to the corner. I am pleased with the change.
DSis & DSisIL have invited me to meet them for lunch today. I have spent extra time on my hair and am looking forward to the outing.

Good afternoon. My conga so far is a big pupa in the house. Was beginning to look like a mess around here.
DH was propping up the toaster and I don't understand his thinking that this would help, but he was sitting it on a stack of books/phone books because the handle wasn't staying down when he was trying to make toast. 2 days in a row he did this. I've wiped all the counters and moved stuff around, rescued the toaster and after we talked about it he tried it and it worked perfectly. I don't know what he was trying to do with it, but he sure made a mess.
He got involved with a homeowner who needed help buying shingles. Roofing company only sells to contractors... so he helped him but then the guy took the stuff back and our bookkeeping from all that was messed up. We have a check to send him back. He got all but the restocking fee back. So many people are struggling to get their places fixed. County has still not come by to pick up the piles of stuff all over the neighborhood.
Car malfunctioned again, DH off to get something to fix. I have gone through all the receipts and tried to organize stuff better. I'm unhappy with all the messes around. Folded, organized my clothes and put the drying rack back out on the porch and that helped. 1 LOL ready for dryer with a few things out to the rack.
I'm anxious for life to get back to normal. When will that be?

Normal… what’s that Harmony
Been to my exercise class and then attended a coffee and conversation meeting at the club house. Much discussion about that is being done in our community and what has been accomplished.
Had a stomach issue yesterday so my laundry day is now. Just finished lunch and about to start on it. I am enjoying the cooler weather. Feels like fall to me.
Waving to y’all.

I started a post this morning but failed to post it before I rebooted my computer and went out the door. I got my hearing aids at Costco this a.m. Typing sure is noisy, ya'll. And the mouse clicking!

I can't get my phone to pair with it; will try again later.
Dh came in while I was trying to catch up and eat lunch and pair the hearing aids, and decided to go back to work for awhile. He was whiskey he had ordered.
I can't believe he suggested that we invite someone over for dinner tonight. I have out two pork chops thawing, and we're already having company for dinner on Sunday night. The answer was no.
