Shopping for a dutch oven on line then realised doubt I need it when I looked at the stove and saw my blue one! LOL!

My granddaughter is engaged.

We're heading out for an adventure today - going to some outlets in Dawsonville, north of ATL. Should be a pretty drive too.

Thinking of Dee going to FL by herself today, and hoping Mr Dee improves and can join her quickly.

54 degrees, and clear as can be here in College Town. Should be 73 before the game is over. It will be raining at home though, tonight and tomorrow — grocery day, ugh.
(Of course, sometimes the weather man misses it, but that’s the prediction.)

I have laundry going too, Nancy, and we’re all packed up for the trip home. Just waiting for the towels to dry and then off to the game.

I saw Kally - hello good morning

we have dinner out with d in law family which should be fun.

I have to make a new plan for getting outdoors daily now that fall and then winter will be here. It's been a struggle for me to get used to working inside again. I generally don't do a lot of work, except for routines and projects during the growing season. It's time to get back to monthlies and seasonal but I have to find a way to make it fun and get outside with the dogs (without falling )

I think the first way to get back on track is to make up a new daily routine that adds outdoor time a couple times a day. I know I need it.
I also have to go back to the daily focus and add a once a week dh and I time going on small adventures.

Out doors every day.

first things first - put a focus to the next week
Monday: , laundry room, kitchen, trash, whites, look for donations, open mail
Tuesday: bathrooms, darks, towels, look for trash, donations, put away
Wednesday: bill, desk day, write letters, anti-procrastination day, outdoors, look for trash, put away
Thursday: landscaper, errand day, dh and I day
Friday: family room, 3 season room, check fridge
Saturday: project, garage work, get ready for the next season
Sunday: craft day, chill day, plan menu.

Zone 1 entrances: porch, front hall, front closet,
checked off: we have salt already
shovels are near the entrance of the garage door
find gloves and hats
set up salt in container near front of garage.

Morning…

I too am thinking of Dee and her DH.

Up with morning routines done. Am conditioning my hair at the moment as I work through my day. Deep cleaned my kitchen and will try not to mess it up when I make baked Ziti in a while. Have some laundry going which I need to flip and a basket with things I need to fold and put away.

Later today I am participating in a trick or trunk… my first. Many on my street are doing it so I am using this as an opportunity to meet some of my neighbors.

Twins…enjoy your trip and Lucylee hope your team wins. Mine plays at 7 tonight so I should be home in time to watch some of it.

having lunch - I usually don't get hungry until later.
I am still cleaning up the line between my neighbors yard and ours. trimmed out some dead tree branches as well.

My hope is to continue down that line.

I'm enjoying another sleep in & slow-moving day. This is not my normal so having two of these type days back-to-back feels luxurious.

I have scheduled the plumber for Monday to replace 2 outside faucets. DH volunteered to replace the faucets, but I encouraged him to let the plumbers handle this. We live in a 60+ year old home and these os faucets are probably the original faucets (60 years old). The chances are moderately high of having a problem and needing to crawl under the house (the plumbing is in a 2-3' crawl space under the house). DH agreed with me, so I made the appointment with plumbers.

I've taken a big bag of chicken tenderloins out of the freezer to thaw. Hopefully, I'll get some inspiration of what dish to make with them in the next couple of hours. I'm learning toward making cheese chicken spaghetti today and chicken/cheese/vegetables quesadillas for lunch tomorrow.
