Good Morning. I'm tweaking my list of Monday calls. Mostly Desk Day but also dd24 and medical.
Morning Daily Card will take extra kitchen duty to be complete today. Folding needed for laundry, too.
Calendaring needs more attention.
Tobias is attempting hypnotism. I must have neglected his bowl.

I slept in - was 8:30 getting up. I was exhausted at 8 p.m. but then wanted to read until 11:30?
As usual for a Monday, I feel kind of comatose. House is quiet and it's cloudy out, would be a good day to sleep longer but I have to move! I realized this a.m. that cooking tonight is futile because we'll have trick or treaters, probably beginning by 5:30ish. We have a lot of little kids and they start early. We usually turn out the light then by 8 or a little later. Dh got two big bags of candy, unfortunately, none of it is the kind I like! Not actually sure it will be enough. Just looked and we have a little more than eleven lbs, doesn't say how many pieces, lol.
I have to go out to get my eyes checked and choose new glasses today, I hope. My appt got cancelled after I was there last time when the doc was ill. I think while I'm out I'll go to the grocery below us (not the Publix, which I prefer, but is further away) and get some goodies to do a charcuterie tray for us. We can munch while passing out candy and greeting kiddos.
This has sat here while I talked to dd, so I'm posting and moving on!

Harriet: Lol about the hypnotism. Dgs1.5 does that too! But just if you are trying to talk to someone else (in person or on the phone.) He asks to be picked up so he can get right in my face! (I love it!)
Also Harriet: enjoy being aware of the time today!
I'm using a pomodoro timer this morning. Having skipped the two 5 minute breaks, I'm taking this 15 minute one.
Bed is stripped and remade, fresh towels out, first load of laundry is done and put away, second is in washer. The clothes on the hanging dryer (from Saturday) are put away and a couple of air dry items are on the rack now.
I've had breakfast and s2s. Even dried and styled my hair (unusual these days.)
It is almost 11 and I have a ton of deadlines for 3:45 so need to keep focused all day.

Morning y’all…
Just got back from my exercise class and the went to a meeting afterwards to discuss adding a weight class on Tuesdays and Thursday’s …. Course I’m all for that. Now that our snowbirds has arrived it was decided to offer 2 class each M,W and F. One class at 8 the other at 9. Our meeting area will only hold 11 girls comfortably at a time.
Came home and began working on my morning routines. Also ate my breakfast. Need to work on my office too. We are going to m sons house around 4:45 to walk with the kids while they do trick or treat. They are only going to 5 houses so after we finish there we’ll be home for any who show up here. I’m told to only expect a dozen or so kids.. so after that’s finished the left over candy goes into the trash

the site is running slow for me today. it's okay - it will help my patience
hello all!
d Twins your ability to visit so many people and go places puts me in Awe. I don't have that mental energy and I am so happy you have such a Joie de vivre! no wonder you are tired on Monday - you need the time to regroup. have a good day on your errands.
d harriet! hoppy desk day!
I love that name: Tobias!
have a good day!
hi d Kathryn, so cute - of your grandson wanting to be face to face to you!!!

it's raining on and off but I do want to work outside a bit so that the dogs have a chance to let go of their energy.
One cat seems to be having a problem - There are two things that I don't care for re: cats: they toss their cookies and the cat litter box - otherwise I love them deeply. Oh my goodness the one cat has been extra stinky. gross - (I am sure you are glad that I put this here.)
Dh has had a tendency over the years to say it's time to get rid of animal or put them down if there is a temporary problem - . I know he couldn't do it and of course I wouldn't let him but it affects me deeply. I don't like games from anyone or passive aggressive anything. HIs way of dealing with frustration is not good for me; especially this.
I would rather his frustration be talked about instead of how he lets it out. I want to be able to do something to help with the situation.
I have list ahead.
Picking up dd older at the airport
I am making Swedish meatballs this morning so that I can clean up before the day goes on.
My hope is to work outside and get all muddy.

it's rather warm for this time of the year.
I also would love to get to the garage attic - vacuum, and put summer tools and gear upstairs.

LOL, bw2, I probably don't do half of what dh would do if I didn't keep the brakes on!
Dfriend M asked if R uby, her dog, could hang out with us this evening. That would be so much fun! She's so good and would enjoy all the opportunities to be admired! M will bring her over at five, fed and pottied.
Leaving in a minute. I think I decided on chili instead of cold food for tonight.

Good morning!
I enjoyed arriving at the SHE village and finding it full of sharing.
I've had my normal Monday activities plus two plumbers here working. They worked in 3 rooms inside the house, crawled underneath the house and worked in the front & back yard. I am incredibly pleased with their work ethic and the end result.
DS14 has been distracted by the plumbers and hasn't made much progress with his homeschool assignments. He is working on them now.
I updated the November calendar with events and then transferred the events from google calendar to spreadsheets. I've printed the monthly calendar for the family that stays on the refrigerator. I have created the hourly schedule for each day they are ready to transfer into OneNote daily journal pages. There is only one more task to do as I plan the new month. Next up = create template for daily journal pages.

Home again. I picked out new glasses and they're kind of "out there" but I like to get glasses that are interesting and fun. I don't know what dh will think of them, but I'm the one wearing them. They have white and off white and pink and black and some other color and I like them with my gray hair. And I wear solids mostly so they won't be competing with what I'm wearing for the most part.
I'm a little disturbed by our mail. I get the morning email that tells what's coming, and we were to get our IRS check today. All the mail that was there was HP ink and a catalog. Just checked with dh and he didn't come home for lunch, and I know the mail person was here because I had an outgoing letter that was picked up.
I decided on chili for tonight so I'm going to go ahead and start it. I'm on hold with the postal service. And I put a note on the neighborhood Facebook group asking if someone else rec'd it. Our postal service guy is awful, some days he goes up and down the street turning around in driveways to backtrack.
