I'm beginning to feel some pressure about this week. Dh asked this a.m. if I was able to reschedule my body work appointment. No, not until next week. I have too much else on my calendar to think about it.
Today is a triple appointment day. Going with dh this a.m. to his 10 a.m. follow up dr appt, then workout at two and taking my laptop to Best buy immediately after that. I think he is going to to bowling tonight to hang out, he's not supposed to lift heavy things, including bowling balls, for awhile. I think I should take my workout clothes and laptop to the appt this a.m. just in case it runs long. I can't imagine it running that long, but one never knows with doctors.
He really does not get my need to be alone but I am just so tired of togetherness right now between the surgery and him being home and then the long weekend.
A.m. routine is underway. Bit items are prep for day, breakfast, walk the dog...

~~~waving Hello to all~~~~~
Mason jar chat - I freeze many sizes of mason jars (Bell & Kerr brands) all the time. I would estimate 20-25 jars a week. The majority of mason jars I use in the freezer are 4oz, 8oz and 16 oz. I've never had one break.....yet. I use 32 oz size mason jars every day to make tea. I did have one of them crack recently when I poured boiling water in it. That jar had been in the north cupboard on a very frigid day. I can only guess the extreme temps (cold to hot) cause it to crack.
I'm not firing on all cylinders today. I feel fine but I am not keeping up with my hourly tasks like normal. Everything is taking me longer today.
On our menu today is butter chicken, sauteed vegetables and Spanish rice.
Tree cutting continues. This is one of the very rare days that I'm approving DS14 to delay doing his homeschool assignments. The trees need to be out of the way so the fence contractor can continue putting up cee purlin.
Very rough sleep last night and dgs is really tired too so I'm relying on tv, Miss Rachel, music class but not interacting like I should be with him while its on. Normally I sing along and do what she does so it isn't so much TV as Babysitter.
I did get the meals planned for March and a grocery list made up. Plus notes on what to make extra batches of this week to have things on hand.
I've started praying for a March 6th surgery day. That would mean that dh would get to have dgs to cuddle with on the lead-up to the surgery and then come home the day dgs leaves (in the morning.)
But first the angiogram on Friday.
I told DH earlier I’m feeling pulled in too many directions right now.
Two out of the house appts from last week are getting done this week. The computer issue was unexpected. And there was no way to predict that dinner for seven guests would fall less than two weeks after dh’s surgery.
I just need to buckle down and get through it.
We are moving on to Plan C...or D...or E. I've lost count. The fence contractor and tree cutting can't happen at same time so the fence contractor takes priority. He is hanging the solid metal fence panels today. This is the moment I've been hoping and waiting for to see if it really will make a difference on wind & noise. I'm going to be disappointed if it doesn't work. I should know in a few hours.
I made smoothies for everyone this morning.
I usually have my favorite playlist of music playing every morning and enjoy it. However, today I find it irritating because it is overwhelming me. My brain isn't multi-tasking as well as it normally does. I have finished the first 2 hours of planned hourly tasks when I am normally starting on hour #4 tasks.
My morning routine is almost finished. It really didn't help that I was wide awake for 3 hours in the middle of the night.
Other than the mountain of clean laundry on my end of the dresser, therefore my laundry, still needs to be dealt with. All of the laundry that I took out of the dryer this morning is put away.
Vacuum is clean now, so I put it away. There are still dishes to contend with, but I finally got the kitchen floor done. Now all the floors are done for the day. Youngest cat is now sleeping. She loves to watch me mop so she can play at attacking the mop when it comes towards her. I say "No" quietly and she will stop for a few swipes and then she starts again. Both older cats are outside enjoying the 8 degrees Celcius and sunshine. (8 C is in the high 40's F.) There is no rain or snow yet. There is supposed to be a massive ice storm starting tomorrow. I have no appointments until next Monday, so I'm okay.
I wasn't able to finish my a.m. routine before I took off either. I'm not sure what happened to the time this morning. I know I don't realize how much time is passing sometimes, but I wasn't down a genealogy rabbit hole and was legit busy, I think. I had to go into the garbage for the pump for the top of my big shampoo bottle. I switch it out every time I buy a new bottle and dcleaning lady thought it was time to let it the old bottle go. I did get garbage out after that, and packed up laptop and workout clothes in case dr appointment was extra long. I just took ddog out in the yard for few minutes, didn't walk her, tho.
Dr appt was short and sweet. Dh actually said he was sorry I had to cancel my body work to go with him.
I had the idea to plug in my laptop downstairs without extra monitors and the screen doesn't have the pinkish cast. I think that means the issue may be with the extra monitors, even tho they aren't pink. So I'm cancelling Best buy appt to take it in for now and will do a little experimenting on my own first.
Dh shared info with me about an event on Thursday p.m. that we perhaps "should" attend. If it were a different week, I'd love to but told him I didn't think I could. He really dislikes going to events without me. He says it's because everyone asks where I am, and he has to explain, but I don't understand that. There's no shame in going to something alone and just saying that I had other plans. So he doesn't like to go alone, and I don't want to go as many places as he does.
I had a wrap for an early lunch on my tummy before I workout later. I ate such a quick breakfast I hardly remember. Two eggs over a slice of keto toast, a tangerine and about 1/4 cup full fat yogurt.
Gotta get busy on rest of a.m. routine and ddog needs her walk too.
