That was exactly the theme I was going to use!
Of course, the village was slow to load, I got distracted, and Twins did the work for me!
Thank you!
I'm up and at it but not dressed. I'll go do that. We leave for the hospital in just over an hour. Then I have a Kijiji item to pick up, a Costco return, and then nothing else so I think I'll come home and try and work.
My stress level is extremely high. When I was a teen, my next door neighbour (only 45 but having had a previous heart attack) died having an angiogram. It was relatively unexpected since he had had so many over the years without issue. I think I'm more concerned about today than the surgery when it happens. The cardiologist is great and I'm glad we talked with him yesterday, but it doesn't make a difference to my apprehension.

good morning d twins and d Kathryn praying for your dh! and for you and of course his drs. Praying that all goes smoothly.
today is a busy day.
dh has his ENT appointment - I have to talk to them as the respiratory therapist told us that I have to have an extra trac in case it falls out and he will die without it -

I wish they would have told me that before leaving - they never told me that the last time.
he also has PT, NURSE, saying that they are coming at the same time and that they do that all the time
I have the tree guy coming at 9:30
It's okay - right now I feel like I have got this one.
waving to say hello to all of you!!!
oh dd older bought a rhooma and a Bissel washer robot thingies. I never would have guessed how wonderful they are when you have animals.
my floors have never looked better - they are being twice a day. crazy.

I'm a little freaked out by this dinner tonight - a couple I don't know and another I barely know. My inner introvert wants it over. I'm sure it will be fine but I am just dreading it right now.
The house is presentable thanks to dcleaning lady and I need to keep it that way. I'm sorting my to-dos into "Out of the house," "Must do" and "Nice to do." The last two are a matter of priorities.
So I gotta get up off my bottom and move! First I need to walk the dog and have breakfast, then out of the house tasks, then back home. I'm going to shower later in the day.
I wonder about a Roomba, bw2, now that we have a dog again. And tell us about the bissel robot thingie, please?

Woke up to sunny skies, but it's cold outside. Dh is out in the garage doing an oil change and "looking for a leak" which the customer insists that she has. Tranny fluid is red, and she saw green drips on her driveway but insists it's an oil leak or a tranny leak, so dh is looking for the phantom leak.
I had a Roomba at one point until it just stopped working. I did replace it with a "cheaper" version by another company. That one proved why it's better to spend the money for the real deal. The only problem we had with the Roomba was that it would get caught up on wires. Dh built a tiny fence to go around the wires (under the bed) and then it worked fine after that. The cats didn't like it very much, but they were the reason we needed one.
Supper is leftover Indian food, or the steak that is thawing. I will ask dh when he comes inside.

~~~~~Waving Hello to all~~~~
((((Kathryn & Ken)))) keeping you in my thoughts and prayers
We have 2 dogs and 2 kids in the house so daily sweeping of the floors is necessary to keep the hair & dirt from becoming overwhelming. I've had a couple roomba's over the years. I have one now charged and ready to use but it never gets used. Instead, I have a daily routine of vacuuming the 9 most used rooms using a canister vacuum (battery). I enjoy using this vacuum because it is easy, quick and hands on vacuuming the floor in each room prompts me to do other things. I do seem to go through phases of using diverse types of floor cleaning tools, so I acknowledge this is my current preferred floor tool, but it will change which is why I keep the Roomba even though it isn't being used.
I have nothing on the calendar for today. I am thankful for an off day.
It is too cold to play outside for very long today so I will need to direct my focus & efforts toward projects that are indoors.
d twins I will get the info to you later today. we have a Bissel washing thingy that we put bona in once a morning- we have wood floors - the Roomba is working as we work - we move it to each room. (two times a day). I like it because it gets under everything. now that it is getting muddier outside then I put the washing thing on after the dogs come in if I don't have time to wipe things down.
right now life is busy with dh's routines and it's nice to have things working while I am working.
