Thank you all for your routines regarding dishes. I forgot to turn the dishwasher on last night, so I will do that this morning. The counter beside the sink is totally clear. That was so nice to see when I woke up this morning!!

So, I have NOTHING to do today. Just turn on the dishwasher and put away the clean laundry in the dryer.

It's a very sunny day out, but it's also windy. Yesterday I could see a lot of spots in the bedroom that needed to be dusted. Today with the sun streaming in on the east side of the house, I was going to check for dusty places in the living room.

Dh has a customer this morning, but I don't know what she is getting done. Hopefully just something fast and easy.

I won't be fooling anyone on purpose today.

No idea what's for supper.

Later... all clean laundry is put away from the dryer. Dishes are almost finished in the dishwasher. I dusted parts of the bedroom and living room.

I've been wanting to get to the large window area in my library. The youngest cat has found her way behind the curtains. Today I am going to sew the black curtains to the white curtains so she can't get into the area between the curtains and the window. I think she was climbing the lace curtains that are right against the windows. Basically things are a mess, and it's time to fix it up a bit.

I'm no longer any fun and didn't even think about the date except to change the calendar we track our weight and BP on.

I do remember ds telling the April 1 story about a very young women and boyfriend arriving in the birthing unit, transferred from the ER. She thought it was appendicitis. The scan found she was pregnant and in labour. She had no idea she was pregnant.

(Aside from calling social services), ds had to get on the phone when she called her folks to say she had just had a baby. The date made her call seem unbelievable. Ds also said it was interesting dealing with the boyfriend who was processing a helluva a lot in a very short period of time but he did manage to get his head around things enough to cut the cord.

The weather is not a joke today but should clear out by 1. We have boots so we'll be fine for the trip to the farm.

I should get moving as I have to leave in 2 hours. I took my first ADD pill in 12 days and have hyperfocused on posting online. I need to step away from the computer for a few minutes in order to reset that focus.

Good Morning!

I was surprised how sore I was this morning. I didn't think I used any different muscle groups while fishing but that is the only thing that I can think of that would cause it.

I'm printing the next 6 months of papers for DH to record his daily health data. He is faithful in tracking his BSugar, BPresure, Temperature, pulse and oxygen. Having this information lets him know when his body is out of kilter and is getting sick.

DS14 has left for work.

Next up --
** Make smoothie for my breakfast
** create April monthly, daily and hourly calendars

Dh has sheets to record those things on as well, Lady M. Sure helps to catch any trends. (BP, Weight, swollen & whether he's taken his Metoprolol -that depends on his BP). I keep mine in a chart on the computer -Wt, Bsugar, steps, hours of sleep, BP. Speaking of sleep Thursday night was absolutely NIL! I finally fell asleep about 6:30am yesterday. Managed a little over 8 hours last night. Although I was awake a lot from 2:30 on with thoughts of what I had to do to get dh ready to fly today.
That was so nice to see when I woke up this morning!
If only we'd zero in on this every night, Cathy. Wish I could -but things will be better when we get home.

Hoping for dh's sake (and dd's) that there's no delays for his flight. Thinking of which think I'll look to see if there's any updates on flight times. He seems so confused today that I hate sending him off. DD plans to go with him to his gate (in a wheelchair) and leave him in the care of someone there.

EDITING: Glad I looked. His flight was due to leave at 3:55 and has now been delayed until 4:44 not getting in to Rochester till 7:29. Told him to text DGS23 or maybe I will when we know for sure when it's leaving Tampa. DD still plans to leave here around the same time as she has her 'fun job' in Tampa tonight.

I'm absolutely amazed. Dh had a bigger breakfast than he usually eats and he's now warming up potatoes, onions, peppers, pepperoni. Told him he might as well lie down for a little while. I know he didn't sleep well last night. Same for all of us, right? when we have an event planned for the next day.

Joys & Concerns is up for April. Let it be a much better month for all of us.

I printed April & May calendars showing google calendar events for the refrigerator. Everyone has calendar events on their phone, but DH depends on the paper copy instead of looking at his phone. I also like seeing the bigger picture on paper of upcoming events.

I don't know how many are going with me to the rambling @ the refuge activity today. I always enjoy doing this, so it is worth the effort it takes to make it happen.

No foolin' today for me, at least none planned.

Dneighbors came over last night to see the new paint and stayed for a glass or two of wine on the porch with us. Was nearly 10 when they left and I realized that I had forgotten the last of my 7:30 Friday night webinars. I still haven't rewatched the one from last week so there are two of them to do now. These are on charts and tables in Word, which was something I felt I had poorly executed in my portfolio, however, I got no comments, good or bad, on them.

My house is probably better than it's been at any point since we got home from the beach on the 23th, and I still have lots to put away. Dh came home from work ready to start putting pictures/art back up but I'd been at it all day so pushed him off to today. I'm just tired. I'll hit 70K steps for the week this a.m.

Working on a.m. routine first. Dog had a romp in the backyard this morning already. We had storms overnight - I woke up a couple of times to thunder, but today is clear and will be mid-seventies. Dh has gone to Torah study.

And I never finished....typical ADD behavior! DH came in from Torah study, talked to dfriend re: river late, and I walked the ddog. Made myself brunch and am eating now.

Dh sort of dealt with the 3 bags of sand in the back yard this morning. He cut open the bags and removed the bags. Now we have a pile of sand against the house with grass all around that area. Way to go, dear...

Dishwasher is almost emptied. I swept the living room and back hall and most of the kitchen. Dh was leaning on the island waiting for his toast to come up, and he didn't move to let me sweep where he was. I will get to that spot. I also mopped some coffee spots from the living room floor, washed the back hall and now I'm waiting to mop the bathroom.

I went outside and it's really warm if the wind isn't blowing. I washed my snow pants yesterday and that's it for them for now.
