Composting, garbage and recycling is out.
Th temperature is supposed to be in the 80's by 5 p.m. so I will pick up a Costco chicken and a vat of potato salad. On the way home from there I will pick up another cold salad at another store.
The dirty dishes are all in the dishwasher. No pots or pans to wash. There is a small load in the washing machine waiting for the load to get bigger.
I'm heading to knitting around 10.

I am dragging today. I feel fine but have no energy. I'm reviewing what I ate yesterday that might affect me like this and suspect I have found the culprit.
I took DD11 to school and walked outside this morning to keep me moving. My body gets stiff if I stay still.

After two busy days I'm moving more slowly this a.m. In fact, I got back into bed for awhile. Dh just called to get my TSA precheck no. so I'm up again.
Nothing going today but my workout this afternoon.

I'm up but not very energetic either. According to my fitbit I had over 10 hours of sleep last night but I really doubt it. Know I got up around 2 and turned on Christian music and set the timer for 2 hours. I was aware when it turned off.
I'm off to a slow start which I hope will pick up speed as I progress.
DD will be home today -late from Jacksonville. She's already texted that she'd like to go to Trivia tonight. I'm going to try as it will probably be my last chance for this year. If she gets home in time she'll return her rental car otherwise it'll be after school tomorrow.
Off I go to see if I can complete some tasks and check them off.

I tried to put together another day of planned 30 minute chunks but by 8 I was already behind!
Got up on time but it is going to be so hot here today, I had to spend time shifting some of my summer things into my turtleneck drawer. And trying on my summer pants to see what fits.
That put me behind by over 30 minutes and while it happens to be a zone chore, it was one I was putting off until next month. We'll get cold weather again next week so really I only needed to pull out 2 t-shirts.
Then, after my walk, I got the car ready to go (upping the charge level and moving our folding chairs back into it and taking the snowshovels and brush out), so that was an additional 20 minutes behind.
And I had sent emails before my walk which resulted in more emails and a phone call. All good stuff but not really on my list (plus two more projects for me to work on.)
So here it is 11 and I have done only 4 of the 8 time slot activities.

Just remembered that I need to go to the cemetery for a short meeting at five p.m. too. We'll eat out tonight.

Have been on the move ever since I got up helping dh with a project. Took hours & it feels good to sit & relax a bit. Still have a few cold symptoms but not going through half a box of tissues a day anymore. Have about 70% of my energy back as long as I don't go up & down stairs too many times. I remember starting to feel off on April 1st , so this bug has lingered for almost two weeks. I may have shared this tip here before but worth repeating. Learned it from dh thirty years ago

. Use chapstick under your nose when you have to blow your nose frequently to keep it from getting red, chapped & sore. Works great.
Dishwasher is emptied, kitchen is clean except for the floor. I swept but it needs mopping & that won't happen today. Stripped the bed & dh helped me put on clean sheets. Goodbye flannel sheets until winter comes around again.
I thawed sausage last night to make Ranch Tortellini & Sausage for dinner today. Easy to put together & very tasty. Was originally planning to roast Brussels sprouts to go with but it's going to be hot today & I don't think I want to turn the oven on. Maybe a salad instead, although I'm very low on both lettuce & romaine. Plenty of tomatoes, though, & I also have sliced mozz cheese. I'll see if dh would like that, & if not I have some veggies in the freezer.
~~~~ Waving to everyone.
I'm working through my hourly tasks a few at a time. The more I move the better I feel. I am keeping my expectations low to balance my high hopes of getting some things done today.
I have been outside a couple of times just doing some slow walking while piddling and observing.
Hour #2 tasks includes doing something to improve the bonus room. That resulted in me taking to the kitchen a cardboard box of sweet potatoes grown last year. I have some of the sweet potatoes roasting in the air fryer. That is a slow way of processing them so I might get the instant pot out to speed up the process.
Hello. This is my happy place to come where friends are. People that do not cause me all the stress I have here at home. Hello everybody!
I've spent the morning (a big deal of it) working on the computer. DH had downloaded a program (sounded like a good thing to him) and for some reason he was trying to delete it. Wanted help with that. Screen didn't make sense to me either but apparently we got it off. I have told him over and over not to mess with the computer. Look at your email and your FB and do not do anything else. Well stuff comes up he says. Yeah there's always going to be that. When I tell him things, even trying to be as nice as I can about it, he says I'm being critical. I must check his email more often. Another job to keep track of.
sigh...
So checking our card, I find I can't get into my current charges... so a few phone calls later, the card is registered and I have checked every charge and talked to an actual human being from who knows where and all appears ok.
First thing in the morning and I had to face all this. It's no wonder I am feeling so much stress. Trying to think about what I can do better to relax but can't think of one thing to unwind.
