It's a curly hair day for me.

Decided just to shower and wash my hair and let it dry free!

I'm really enjoying all the progress I have made in my home. All but my MB Closet have been declutter and reorganized. Still soaking my plastic shelving cause it still smells a bit. I'm told there is a product that HD sells that might get rid of it. Thats my next try. However I don't plan on going there today.

Have returns to take to Kohls and then will stop next door and look at athletic shoes. Mine are about shot. Then its off to the Dollar Store which is right next to that.

Tomorrow I need to do a WM run. My yearly calendar blotter will be done by the end of the month. When I looked for it at WM last week they were out and hope they've been restocked. Also my daily planner runs out at the end of the month. I have a lot of information I want to jot down, plus future projects and phone numbers that I will be needing, but it makes no sense to do that until I get a new yearly planner.

Next up...
Address two cards, one that needs a check put in it, and then mail them when I leave the house.
A little bit of desk work before I walk away from it
Get chicken out of the freezer for dinner
Get dressed Its very hot and humid here so I'm going to throw on one of my shifty dresses

All of my little friends are accounted for. There herons have moved 4 house down and I spent time with my binoculars watching Mama feeding them. The Moorhens of course came out to great us this morning and everyone was wanting their breakfast. They sure are a noisy bunch!

Enjoy your day and will BBL

~~~waving Hello to all~~~~
I hope ((((Dee)))) is able to CI soon. I am also looking forward to Twins arriving home from her travels.
We have Elderberry luncheon today. I am taking ice cream for my contribution to the meal.
My new-to-me eating plan went well yesterday. I didn't expect perfection so wasn't upset with myself when I modified the last meal. I am seeking improvement, not perfection.
I know - it's TUESDAY Trash DAy!!!!
Post by Nancy »
Thanks for the great start today Blessed!
I am up and it is Trash Day for me I got it to the curb and the bags out of the trailer emptied out and they are waiting for pick up this morning yea!
I will begin with the pruners to cut off low hanging branches in the front and back and some unwanted stuff too. I have developed a plan for it in my planner this morning & journaled about how it worked last time I did some work in the bed out front.
I needed to stay active according to my bs #.
Wilted after my walk @ 8:30 75* / 57% humidity.
I've gone out shopping at Bass Pro because dh's birthday is coming up. The hoodie he wants isn't available in anything over a 2X, so I think I will get him a gift card.
I stopped for some groceries, including a "classic dagwood" monster sandwich. Darn, those things are good.
a birthday present from Cabela's - how nice!
It's raining so that puts the brakes on working outside.
I have to refocus - lol that is difficult for me. My house is a tip. I think it's time to pull out my card file!!!
I think that put away should be the first order of business. room by room put away will be the next right thing to do.
We were home about eleven today. Finally. Those storms that LadyM talked about delayed us leaving NH yesterday so we were too late for flight that left Charlotte NC at 10:45 last night. American gave us a room in Charlotte but we only had what we carried. The airport was a madhouse: people in lines to rebook flights, find luggage, get the bags they provided to stranded travelers, cars and shuttles trying to pick people up. We were the last two on the hotel shuttle full of people and luggage and the driver left people behind to get to the hotel on their own because it was the last shuttle of the night.
Before we left we tried to rebook our flight home but all flights from Charlotte to our town were full for today. They rebooked us on a flight to another TN town and we reserved a rental car to drive home about 1.5 hrs. But when we went back to airport at six a.m. :shock: (we sent my backpack as checked luggage so because it had NH maple syrup for gifts and we couldn't take the liquid through security) some seats had freed up on the morning flight home. Thank god. And our bags even made it with maple syrup intact.
I've napped. Dh went on to work and is going to try to bowl tonight.
Twins - What a trip home! Glad you made it safe and sound.
LadyM, was the steak actually cooked all the way through or was it really rare? How thick was that steak?
It had some pink so considered medium, I think. It was about an inch thick
Once a month a group of us older people get together for lunch. We don't have an age restriction and welcome anyone that shows up. We have a good time with lively conversations with a bit of tall tales thrown in. Each month the meals have a theme. This month was a picnic theme, so we had several types of sandwiches & chips. Dessert was ice cream with multiple toppings.
I finally have the house alone. It probably won't be for long but I'm soaking up the silence for now.
Ty LM for that explanation.
I have moved the ladder to use later I have 3 things I need it for that I can think of;
Deck to clean leaves off the gutters / gkid may do that.
Pruning low hanging limbs if the pruners cannot reach em one in front &
one tree in back probably will not need it for that one.
Not today however.
I have weeded in back behind the flower beds on North side of property.
Had lunch & a rest break fried egg and one slice of home made bread yum!
Took a rest break 20 min. of a movie.
Put out onion sets by the shed tulips & irises.
I painted a batch of rocks with base coat deciding what to paint as they dry. Finished them with designs & then
put glitter glue on most some with out as per my design ideas. Then sealer and they are out on the deck drying.
Oops rain 2-8 today so I got em back in quick like!
-----
Next
dig up the next section of dirt for more iris & onions but I thought it was shady but not yet.
Found a wagon to go on my wish list had a spot for my coffee water & juice on the side!
Added that to my wish list.
