~~~waving Hi to all~~~~
We have a thunderstorm about to roll over us. Bring it on!! We will gladly take all the rain it will provide.
I went to the garden at 7am to enjoy the morning air. I walked and watered for 15 minutes then came back inside and started AM cards.
i am making an effort to regain my hourly scheduled actions that I was doing before covid/fall happened. I didn't appreciate how much I was doing until I lost the ability to get those things done. I won't regain that ability without some effort.
Re: Friday PWYC
I slept in today am working on my planning review etc. making some progress ... coming to grips with the deck build taking longer.
I did water in back last nite.
Figured out a way for ddog to use the patio door but I's already taken her out the front and around.
Bujo needs addition today.
Glad I can park in shade where the decking was and moved rigs already.
Neighbors got someone to weed and it looks better now yea!
Time to get dressed so I can walk.
I have walked ddog.
Laundry is going.
Waving.
Re: Friday PWYC
8am & 9am hourly movement happened. My goal today is to do the 14 hourly timeslots. I am focusing on accomplishing the 250+ steps each hour. It used to feel natural for me to do that, but I lost the habit.
The storm knocked over three of my tomato plants/cages that are over 7' tall. Two of the plants had their roots partially pulled out of the ground. These plants are loaded with large tomatoes and some of the green tomatoes were knocked off when the plant toppled. I need an innovative design to support these huge plants. I am currently using multiple bungee cords anchoring the metal cages to solid posts. The bungee cords are working most of the time, but the top-heavy plants need more support. Hum...
Re: Friday PWYC
We had supper out last night because the kitchen was unusable with all the laundry stuff on the table, a washer full of laundry waiting to be done, and the sheet I use to cover the dryer was full of dust from the construction of the pipe going outside. They had to drill through the brick, so that got everywhere. I need to dust and wipe the entire back hall.
Because dh had this overwhelming need to get out and get fruit and meat this morning, he woke me up because he was anxious to get going. He rarely wakes me up for anything. Now that everything is put away from the shopping, I finally got to some laundry. He thought he was being helpful by putting all the laundry stuff that is usually on the dryer with the sheet under it, on top of the washing machine and it's not tidy at all. I have that sheet in the washer now. Everything was on the table and it wasn't in the way, but he thinks he's helping and it's making more work for me. It's really making me want to scream, but instead I'm just keeping quiet and doing what I can to try to get the darn kitchen done.
Supper tonight will be a steak and baked potatoes. There is sour cream in the fridge and chives in the garden for those. Dh will have mushrooms that will be cooked in a foil package on the BBQ.
Re: Friday PWYC
Back from my weekly coffee gathering. Headed to the grocery store after it was over.
Yesterday I …
Played Bacci Ball and didn’t make a fool of myself. There are two court. There are 4 players on each team
Which makes 12 players in all. Two players from two teams stand at the end of one of the courses and the same at the other end. Most of the players are men who play 3-4 times a week. They all were very nice to me and encouraged and coached me as I played. I was really very surprised at how kind they were towards me.
Came home and started working on my MB closet. I decluttered and organized three drawers in my bedroom and bathroom and the. Started on the drawers in my closet. Redid how I have my clothes hung. Same thing with my shoes. Worked for three hours.
Prior to that I did three loads of laundry and put everything away. As soon as I finish writing this I need to finish what I started. This morning before my class I stripped my bed and put the sheets in the washer to dry. When I came home from class to change my clothes for my gathering, I put the sheets in the dryer. Next up is remake my bed.
My shelves came for under my kitchen sink area. Sweetie and I will do those in the morning. Can you tell I’ve been busy
Waving to y’all…break time is over and I want to get everything done before it’s dinner time!
Re: Friday PWYC
So I did that round of errands: pedicure, groceries, washed car, and also picked up dog script. I did not drop off the glass to be recycled. I was hungry so came on home. I bought a battery operated pencil sharpener at the grocery - I am needing to mark some documents up with a red pencil and haven't been able to find a sharpener here. So guess what?? Only two batteries when I need four.
I think I'm going to take a nap on that note.
RR - BWTG on your projects! You are making great progress. I looked up Bacci Ball and watched some beginner instructions. Fun game!
I have accomplished the first 7 of my hourly goals. Half way there!
DS14 and I teamed up to do his weekly timecard. Since DS14 spent all his money on fireworks he wanted to get paid ASAP.
DD12 and I teamed up to clear her bedroom of excess kitten things. We also stripped her bed and started a LOL. The baby kitten is still alive!
