I tell my family that they shouldn't assume I remember it unless they see me write it down! Put it on paper!

YES to writing it down! In my life it is vital to ensure things happen and don't fall through the cracks.

Harmony is on my mind this morning, so checked FB to see if I could find any update (I didn't) then I went back on her SHE posts and read some of her recent thoughts. She recently wrote -
I am satisfied and content when I get messes cleaned up and organized nicely.
In support of Harmony today I am going to seek to be satisfied and content after getting things clean and organized.

Today is a typical Wednesday here. Events with hard wired times are -
7:30 DD12 to school
8:45 DS15, DH and myself to gym
3:30 DD12 from school
4:45 Get DS15 girlfriend
5:45 Eat with church family
6:30 Worship with friends.
8:00 take DS15 girlfriend to her home

I have over twenty 3x5 cards laid out of the kitchen bar to be done today. They will fit in between other activities. One of the cards will be a challenge because it requires a trip to the city to get prescriptions and a shopping list. One of the items on the shopping list is winter pants for DD12. I will be picking out several pairs with the intent of returning what doesn't fit her. The challenge for this card is to make it fit timewise.

Hi!

I wrote down an entire l!$t of stuff I have to do today, and another shorter one for tomorrow. Tomorrow will be Walmart, so bodywash is the only thing for tomorrow so far.

Today takes an entire page, but there are spaces between the sections, and there are 6 sections so far, and it's all out of the house! Ugh!

No idea what's for supper yet. Dh wants hamburgers, and I said no because we have had ground beef 4 times in the past week.

I was successful in ordering 2 tickets for dh to see Colin James for his Christmas gift. Concert is in January in Niagara Falls at a casino. I have also booked hotel tickets for that night so we don't have to drive home in the dark.

My writing is going to be upstairs! I finally have a day with nothing written down on the calendar so I am heading up in a minute.

I've done a.m. routine, including walking the dog in 35 degree sunny weather, except for s2s. Will do that this afternoon - I suggested that we go out for dinner because dh has something going on tomorrow night and won't be home for dinner. We may go to temple Friday night. The dinner is a fundraiser for the youth group and I'd like to support it. The adult dd of our friends V and A is the youth group adviser and she is doing a fabulous job with them. There are not many of them, but it's so important to Jewish identity after bar/bat mitzvah age.

There is a "security panel update" tonight for the Jewish community. Not sure if we'll go to it. Our own congregation has done the same fairly recently, but antisemitism has increased recently. Several of us were talking over the weekend about our desire to put an Israeli flag out, but fear that it would draw undue attention.

And off I go!

I looked at an empty candy bag this a.m. - it was 5.75 lbs and we had two bags. We had some left, which dh took to his office this morning. I'm pretty generous, two or three per person.

I didn't realize it would 52 degrees in this room! I had the door closed and heat/a/c off.

Happy All Saints Day!
Have to write that out to remind myself.
I am putting white out on another planner pack of pages I found yesterday in the spare room when I was in that room doing some cleaning and prep. for today's writing. I luv having a small heater in my creativity room where I do most of my qt stuff.
Sipping coffee as I type this post up.
I have not done much today yet..
-----

Meal planned leftovers manwich wraps .
Had brunch.
Got an invite for lunch next week.
Sorted & started laundry. It is done now.
Mixed up rolls they are proofing in the oven now nearly ready to bake.
Bed is made.

Got my Fall sign upstairs and put outside.
I have a LOT of lights could now let em go in the trash at the church clean out last year.
{Maybe neighbors can use em.}
Did my writing and it went better than I though it might.
The kitchen looks better.

I didn't plan it, but I did not eat a single piece of candy yesterday. It might be the first Halloween that has happened. Sweets don't tempt me much but I have all kinds of struggles staying away from chips. Thankfully, no one was handing bags of chips out last night so I didn't have to battle that temptation!

DH has pulled a muscle in his side and the cooler weather is not helping him. I encouraged him to stay on the heating pad while DS15 and I went to the gym. DH didn't put up much of a argument so I know he is hurting.

Did I tell you I got the ultrasound results from when my side was hurting so bad a month ago? They looked at the organs (liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, and kidneys) and everything came back showing normal. The pain went away so all is good now.

After I got home from gym, I ate leftovers for breakfast because that was what sounded good to me. Loaded baked potato, beets and greens. My break is over so I'm going to get started on the next hour of my day.

Back from trying to shop. Costco didn't have the large bottles of coke zero, so I picked that up at a grocery store that I was going to anyways. I got 12 cans of spaghetti sauce, so we are good for probably close to 3 months.

SO HAPPY to read Sunny's post!!

I put all the soda away. I also picked up the mail when I got home. Dh did move the 2 garbage cans and the large compost bin this morning. He also put a case of ginger ale into the fridge out in the garage. I was hoping he was going to do some dishes, but he didn't.

I picked up one of the books I was going to get, plus a bio of Henry Winkler. The Patricia Cornwell book isn't available yet. I also renewed my Plum points card for another year.

Still sliding back into a sense of normal. Dh will be back on Saturday (he's in the Netherlands) so this is my chance for quiet but it is busy.

Halloween was a bit mixed up yesterday. Because of the wedding and having dgs, I had done the bulk of decorating of the three buildings over a week ago. Then the landlord posted a notice that their candy would be handed out by staff at 5:30. We had put up signs, saying 6. So I took the candy dishes down to the office on Monday and said to divide things up by 3 to hand out. That was when I learned they weren't doing it despite what the signs said and that they expected the residents' association to do it. I didn't have the extra energy to call for volunteers because of having dgs so I just put up a note on Facebook. That didn't work well, one building was completely uncovered.

I dropped dgs at home at lunch yesterday and got back home at 2, had lunch, nap, then met people to set up tables. Discovered I was expected to divide up the candy (sigh, it isn't a simple job.)

So I was out of the apartment from 4:45 to 8:15 and then ate dinner. Unlike LadyM I did have candy and one little bag of chips while waiting for my dinner!

At 8 we had taken my wagon and dumped all the decorations into it and this morning I put away my personal decorations, and then sorted and packed up all the other decorations. Today was "brown bag lunch" so I had lunch and a 90 minute visit with people in the social room then put the boxes of decorations away in the basement storage room that belongs to the landlord. One of the cleaners let me in and was amazed at how I had that space all organized (their Christmas stuff is there too.)

Now I'm just sitting trying to work up the energy to go for a much need walk.
