Nancy - Thank you for opening the SHE village today.

No rain here. Our temperatures have returned to enjoyable fall weather. Bright sunshine, low wind and in the 80's.

I have a day that has no events outside the home. On second thought, I guess that isn't quite true. I will need to go pick up DS15 late tonight when he returns from youth trip. But I do have hours and hours of staying at home today. #DreamsDoComeTrue

I have today's cards laid out in their new location. It is so easy to choose one card to do each time I walk by. I like the visual feedback I receive as the cards are completed and removed from the layout.

I have taken 1-1/2 hours of watching my YouTube home or garden videos that I enjoy.

Yesterday dd younger and I had a 5 hour lunch with one of my d sis in law's!!! I tipped the waitress as if she had 3 different customers - it was the right thing even though the place got empty after the lunch crowd left. we left before the dinner start. Oh my gosh it was soooo fun!!!
This time with d sis in law always goes by so fast!
dd older didn't come with bc she knew it would be a minimum of 4 hours 8-)
A true joy!

d brother has been so happy. I am just eating it up and am so happy for him! He came in and fixed things at mom's house, fed her dinner and gave her her meds. It was very nice and mom was back to normal. She is used to her home here now.

I don't know what I can/will get done.
My hope bringing up the Christmas boxes to get the lights together

I had cancelled the cleaning ladies for a month and they are supposed to start again next week - one side of me wants to cancel them - dh wants to cancel them all together. I like having them in spring through summer. I have to think about it. I would rather have them weekly or bi-weekly in summer instead of the whole year.

waving to you all!!!! may it be a great day! WAVING AT YOU D LADY! HAVE A GREAT DAY TOO!

card file to be pulled.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

I have moved paint cans out of sight in the paint roo. It looks better.
Sorted out the items from the Cmas tote that was fun.
I will be bringing them up a few at a time.
Brought up some items for donation and that will be under consideration kids did not want.
Rain is easing up a bit.
Just remembered that I am on call for car pool duty today glad I remembered that.

Had my bfast.
Raining still at 9:30.
Took the dog out again used the umbrelly.
Had more coffee...
Took ddoggo for a walk around the block with umbrelly.
Fetched mail & processed that
Cut up corn bread & froze it for later for doggo treats or to go in stuffing. .

I enjoyed lunch yesterday with dcousin. Because we went to a burger place we were done pretty quickly, and I stopped off at her house so we could talk a little more. Services last night were enjoyable also - lots of little kids and such a nice service geared to them, but accommodations for adults as well. (Kids went out and adults stayed to say Kaddish, a more solemn part of the service - at that point kids are twitchy because it's nearly over.)

DH has gone to a local college football game today and I'm upstairs. At some point between 12:30 and 5:30 the refrigerator shows up.

LucyLee - I hope you enjoy your time with DGS and the game!

I am enjoying my day at home. Plenty of relaxing intermingled with getting cards done.

Tried to do an errand fail the craft fair was way busy so I skipped that went to a small antique shop did
not get anything but the river drive was nice. To and from. Prepped some stuff in a tote for donations but the
place did not have an open office today.
Did the 2nd part of the walk with ddog got an invite for dinner at on my route a guy and his wife lh use to work with the guy.
I admired his wood splitter had a chat.

Dear doggo likes doing walks that are divided into two segments.
Got some great notes on the writing project yea!
My rolls are great with broth.
