Good morning!
DD12 has been delivered to school with a smile on her face. She is going on a field trip today to play Top Golf in our capital city. She isn't really excited about it as it is sport related and includes 3 hours of riding the school bus. I encouraged her to embrace the experience and hope for the best.
Last night appointment with DD12 counselor was a tough one. I typically don't stay for the entire appointment but with DD12 in tears there didn't seem to be a time for me to step out. We have a plan to make some changes in hopes that it brings relief to DD12.
Today is paperwork day! I still haven't taken our 2023 tax documents to cpa.

Washed the large kitchen curtains (white sheers) and hung them last night.
Washed the cafe length white "lace" semi-sheers this morning and hung them all back up. I don't remember where the 2 extras go, possibly in the kitchen where there are others on the south window. I'm sure that's where they go.
All of the white "lace" semi sheers are in the washer now. I forgot to throw in the ones from the bathroom.
I also moved the 2 smallest book shelves in the library and took everything out from the window "seat" and then I put the shelves back. Now I need a shower.
I also emptied one load of decorative clear glass from the dishwasher. One piece cracked, but it was from a dollar store and easily replacable.
Second load is waiting to be removed from the dishwasher.
We had Chinese food last night and will have the rest tonight.
Dh is outside in the garden. He just came back from getting himself a haircut.
I need to go get a set of dark grey curtains for the 2 windows in the living room that face the road. They only cover the bottom half of each window so we can see the sky and the tops of the 4 trees out front. The other set had holes from 3 cats how have all since stopped climbing curtains in their "old" age. Maybe just because they are no longer silly kittens who used to climb curtains.
To top all this off, I offered to cut the grass today. Maybe I can get out of that. Dh isn't busy with anything other than the garden.

A few minutes later dh came in and offered to cut the grass. "Okay, honey!"

Morning girls…
I was in the dentist chair at 7:00 am this morning. WM is just down the street so I stopped to by their single salads. I usually eat one a day. Also bought some yogurt as I need to eat soft foods for the next few days.
Stopped at T-jays and bought some Quest chips. They are in single serving bags and I usually eat a half bag a day. Came home and made my second cup of coffee and now have my feet up
I needed 4 shots of novocaine which isn’t unusual for me so my mouth is still sort of numb. I didn’t sleep well last night and am felling kind of tired.
LadyM …glad you were there for your dd12
Waving to y’all Be Back later

Hi to everyone.
Thinking of LadyM's dd12 on her interesting day - hope it turns out positive.
And of Ramblin' as that novacaine wears off! Ouch. Smart to have yogurt on hand.
And of Twins' - Cathy's title today reminds me that Twins' is our TaDa specialist.
lucylee and Cathy are getting so much done.
The morning here was spent between Desk Day and some cooking. HRH had dirty rice in mind for some reason. I thought it turned out too spicy/hot but he loved it. We've been getting recycling ready, watching for a break in the rain.
Next up are bathroom spif, linens laundry.

I'm trying to do more today and not just wallow in feeling depressed. I called my cousin J and caught up. Also called M who we traveled with last month. She has had pneumonia and feels terrible so we commiserated. The stamping supplies I ordered arrived today so I've bought that upstairs and cleared that desk a little.
I think typing with left hand is much harder after this last surgery. I'm kind of managing with the hand/wrist propped up.

(((Twins)))) BWTG on reaching out to DFriends to check on them and catch up. Remember to get in the sunshine every day. Maybe sit on the patio of a local coffee shop while enjoying a drink and soaking up the feel good rays.
I have been researching and contacting a few people in an effort to find a solution for DD12. So far, I have not had any success. I just had a new idea pop into my mind....I am going to reach out to a possibility.
I have known for a while that eating bread makes my joints hurt. It gets so bad that on the day that I eat bread the pain wakes me up during the night when I turn over in bed. I can go days/weeks without any bread but eventually give in. So I restarted my sourdough starter and have been feeding it for several days. Today I experimented with
making pancakes with it. There is no flour added except what is in the sourdough starter which is well fermented. Now I wait to see if the joint pain happens.
