I start the week on Sunday, not sure if that's the general practice or not, but my google calendar, Fitbit dashboard for the week, and my copied calendar in my planner roll over on Sunday. So I plan for the week on Sunday and consider it the "start."

How and when do you start your week? I think Kathryn recently said she starts the week on Monday?

I don't know what day I would consider the start to the week any more. It used to be Mondays when I was working. Now some days feel like it's Groundhog Day. I just look at the large calendar on the side of the fridge as I walk past it to see what we've got going on, if anything.

We are having leftovers tonight. It's windy and raining here right now. All 3 cats wanted out, so I let them out. There are numerous places they can go to stay dry, so that is most likely where they are. They all know that they can come to the bathroom window and meow to be let in. At least, I think they know.

No plans for today. Dh might want to go swimming later.

Yesterday was packed with people. Breakfast out with friends, then dfriends here, later dinner out with A and V, and I didn't realize that A and V were coming back to the house so he could help dh with assembly of dh's "liquor cabinet." They were here still working until 10:30. V was asleep in a chair and I was so tired but reading on the couch.

Dh and I did purchase a new, bigger, bed and mattress yesterday. We need more room because dMillie snuggles with us. To be delivered in six weeks or so. It matches our current dresser, tall chest, and night tables in color and isn't a wildly dissimilar style so we saved by keeping with those.

Today is the temple annual meeting at three, then we're committed to taking V out to dinner in celebration of her no longer being prez. She suggested a wonderful restaurant near the temple. She's finishing two years and I know it's a burden off her plate.

This means I'll probably miss the Zoom intro at 6 p.m. for the genealogy institute this week. Don't know if it's being recorded but it's usually not that informative. Tomorrow begins at 10 a.m. and I've not really finished my summary of my problem for research this week so I need to round it out today.

Busy week ahead, but enjoyable. The following week there's a Thursday holiday in the U.S. Then I have two "normal" weeks before another genealogy institute. I need to look and see what, if anything, I want to take this winter and spring.

Cathy, the difference for me in weekends/weekdays is dh hanging out in front of the TV on weekends. That will change a little more than a year from now.

I’m with Cathy — every day is Groundhog Day around here, especially with dgrands out of school.
But like you, Twins, all my calendars and my planner have Sunday starts. I try to get my planner set up on Saturday night or Sunday. This week is pretty full.

I need to plan to be up earlier this week to walk ddog and eat good breakfaset - we start at 10 tomorrow and at 10:30 the rest of the week, but I scheduled 8:30 body work on Thursday and a 9 a.m. hair cut on Friday. Hair cut is a must do in this heat, it's not been cut since end of March. I didn't want to schedule body work this week, but he will be away forth of July week and the week after, so I can't get in again until week of 15 July. It won't break his heart if I cancel an 8:30 a.m. appointment, so we'll see how I feel.

Slept in a bit up at 5:30.
did qt walked done by 6:30 ish.
Watered in front.
Then did dp daily planning journal
still need to do an entry in bujo.
Sun. rest day for me. But... I have some tasks that did not happen and did a sabbath on Fri.
I like a Sun. start calendar but sort of think Mon. is a start the week day for me.

Kitchen is shiny again. Dishwasher is going. Dryer is almost finished. It never fails... as soon as I sit down, the dryer buzzes.

Supper plans have changed. Dh asked if he could have the leftovers for lunch. Now we will be having meatloaf and cold salads.

Home from church.

99.9% of the time DH memory seems to be fine. However, a couple times in the last 24 hours he has spaced out. DH did the communion message this morning and did great. However, after he finished, he sat down in a chair on the stage instead of returning to his place next to me. I didn't notice it at first because I had a little one distracting me. When the sermon started, I realized DH wasn't sitting in his chair next to me so I at first just assumed he went to the bathroom. Then I saw him sitting in a chair on stage. Thankfully I was in the back of the church so I could stand up and wave my arm to get DH attention without anyone noticing. Once I had DH attention then I motioned for him to leave the stage and come sit next to me. When we got home, I asked DH if he was confused about what he was supposed to do and he said confirmed that he did forget.

Honey BBQ chicken and waffle fries are what I fixed for the family to eat. I'm having my BGS (big green salad) with cottage cheese for my lunch.

My calendar says the week starts on Sunday. For the decades that I worked I always considered Sunday @ 5pm to be the start of the week. At 5pm I put the weekend activities away and started prepping for the upcoming week. I learned to dread Sunday 5pm because it felt like my shoulders got loaded down with the weight of the responsibility for upcoming week.

This week is VBS which means I will be at church from 8am to noon every day. I am teaching 3rd and 4th graders.
We have two appointments also this week.
The kids insist on being fed several times a day so food prep will be a constant.
I won't be struggling with boredom this week. That's for sure!

LadyM, we had a similar rule up through elementary school, maybe longer? Sunday night at 6 p.m. T V and screens went off and we aimed for a healthy dinner - often omelets with fruit. (Some protein, slow carbs, milk product.)

Dh and I worked on the screened porch this morning. It was cooler than it will be later but we still sweated. Took care of rug stains under that couch that were so visible as one went out the door, and swept well and damp mopped for dirt on stained concrete, and generally dusted and straightened it up. Cleaned one pillow from the table. My wrist is aching, maybe too much but doc said to use it.

I've s2s-ed and we'll head to temple soon for meeting.

I finished reading a faith inspiring biography.
Have soup in the crock pot veg. will be done later I added v-8 to the broth for now it's tasty.
Ddoggos next door & mine are barking maybe noisy playing at the fence but I have the hose directed to that spot and it is a great deterrent. Seems none of them like that in their faces for the neighbors mine on the back they all exited the area and immediately stopped barking at each other! [ Neighbors are back.]
80* six degrees from the high temp. for today. Breezy & red flag warnings are up and have been extended to eight p.m. tonight.

Next time I do a stretch & walk about I"ll put the spray nozzle on the hose.
Soup smells yummy.

Did up the dishes after I had some of the veg.

I've reclaimed another section of the counters yea!
