Re: Tuesday TA DA tally!
Good Morning!
Twins - thanks for the start. I took our trash to the road this morning too.
Big Rocks for today -
** Haul off limbs. Having a dozen trees in the yard means having limbs to deal with. The storm made a mess. Our pickup bed and trailer are piled high with limbs, so it is time to get them hauled off.
** Move sewing machine, cabinet & supplies to DD13 bedroom. Her room is stuffed with STUFF. She hangs on to everything. I don't know how we will find space for the sewing machine and cabinet, but she is eager to try. This project could lead to a massive clean out of DD13 bedroom. Maybe. I try to pick my battles carefully while keeping the big picture in mind. Timing is everything and I don't think it is time to push DD13. She is dealing with her mom abandoning her....again. DD47 hasn't been to see DD13 in over a month. Now isn't the time to stress DD13 but it is time to add joy to her day. Improving her sewing skills is something that interests DD13 so that is the goal. We might need to get creative to make it fit among her STUFF.
This is the only day this week without a medical appointment. I am hopeful to stay home today and get some things done here.
Spaghetti, meat sauce and meat balls are prepped to cook for the family later today.
Heard this morning -
DS15 - You made me a lunch to take?
Me - Yes, it is in a sack ready to grab from the refrigerator.
DS15 - What did you make?
Me - 4 sandwiches so you can share with Jesse. 2 drinks, chips and muffins.
DS15 - THANK YOU SO MUCH. I really appreciate you doing that.

Re: Tuesday TA DA tally!
Hey there…
Just finished my lunch and drinking my second cup of coffee. We had to be out the door by 8:30’for Sweetie drs appointed with his neurology PT.
Had exciting news as Sweetie is a candidate for the new meds for Alzheimer’s that just hit the market. It will require several tests that he must pass first. So next week we start with blood tests. If in fact Sweeties blood shows the plaque that attacks his brain then he will have to hav another MRI and PET. This is test will assure the sr that the plaque is in his brain as well as his blood.
Once those tests are done and he meets all these markers then he will be administered the new med. it will be necessary to go to the drs offices to be given an infusion that will take 30 minutes and then must remain in the office for another 30 minutes to make sure he doesn’t have any reactions to it.
The group of drs that are in this office are all excited about this new med and are onboard administering it.
Sweetie is excited because he likes the idea of being on the cutting edge of this procedure!
After his appointment we went to several stores in the area and then made our way home.
I have some desk work to do plus need to work on my steps.

Re: Tuesday TA DA tally!
Hi!
We finally went and got 5 more bags of stone to finish my little flower garden. Everything is in a container of some sort. Mostly terra cotta pots if you don't include the 2 half wine barrels.
I think I'll just get the stone out of the truck as it is very humid here today and calling for thunderstorms here tomorrow. We are in the path of the tropical storm that hit Texas yesterday. There is no wind here today. At least, not yet.
Leftover spaghetti and meat sauce for supper tonight.
I was on a FBook page this morning that suggested "6/10/4/6" to keep your house clean at all times. So I clicked on it.
6 Daily chores
10 Weekly chores
4 Monthly chores
6 Quarterly chores.
Shortly after that... (less than 20 minutes later) all 5 bags of stone have been moved to the garden from the truck. Magical how posting about some things helps to get it done!

Re: Tuesday TA DA tally!
Ugh. I'm in quite a mood. My workout will be good for me. Reminder to self: need to leave in less than an hour.
Talked to landscape company re: azaleas and sent photos and they are to respond. I feel sick every time I look at them. They'll grow back but won't have the shape I prefer. Their pruning encourages they to become bushy instead of "loose." And we probably won't have much bloom this fall.
And I don't know if any of you use the Fitbit app in the browser, but it's gone. Only the phone app now. The web browser had the weekly summary, with the prior week, and prior week. It had the highest step count in the last 28 days. It had 10 years of history. And now the app on my phone only has today's info. One of the things I do, when I'm on my step game, is to review where I am in the week, and how many steps I need to make the goal. That's gone, unless I just enter it daily in a spreadsheet.
So I'm just feeling out of sorts and haven't finished even finished a.m. routine. I need to eat something and get ready for workout at two. While dh is bowling tonight I'll have online Zoom meeting with accountability group. That should be nice to catch up. (Note to self: at least two are significantly younger and are making this a career. I can't compare myself with them.)

Re: Tuesday TA DA tally!
No grands here for the time being…
No ta-das…
Sometimes I just want to sit.
Three months Friday and I still feel like I must still be in shock a little bit. It’s like I can’t really believe that I’m on my own, that I’ve got to do “this” on my own for the rest of my life. When dgrands are here, there is no time to think about myself, but I can’t have them here 24/7. I think I need a little bit of down time. And when I get it, it’s hard to motivate myself to do anything.

Re: Tuesday TA DA tally!
Twins', I thought it was only Gar min who had made this type of change. I'm very disappointed in mine. Much more burden on the customer to record things or lose the info.
Cathy the stone and the wine barrels, terra-cotta ... .. it sounds so flower-friendly! Enjoy.
Best wishes about the new med, Ramblin' and her sweetie!
I am watching a delivery approach my house (online map). Supposedly, everything we're waiting for for the change in the small bedroom is on this truck. Hopeful.

(((Twins)))
((((LucyLee))))
TA-DA
** tree limbs hauled off.
** Spaghetti with meat sauce and meat balls is ready for the family to eat. I made 2 large pans of it because it is a favorite of everyone (except me).
** DS15 got home from working 8 hours in the heat/sun. He is still full of energy and happy as can be.

Re: Tuesday TA DA tally!
What is it with these trackers, Harriet? Disappointing.
I had a great workout. Dtrainer C got out very light ankle weights and put them on forearms. They had some slippage but I was able to do some arm work. Bent over rows, bicep curls, triceps presses, some stuff for shoulders - marching big slow steps with arms up and down. It sure did feel good!
Dh came home for lunch before I left for the workout. We had a little rain shower - maybe less than five minutes? And there's a "chance" of a couple more. Temp is back up though, and "feels like" over 100 again. I walked ddog a lap. If she had waited until a little later, I might have walked another lap.
My supper is to be a burger grilled two days ago. I *should* make a salad to go with it....
LadyM, I considered my workout a reset for my mood!
