I can't believe we're a third of the way through July already!

I had a chuckle with that title. So used to hearing "third" in a couple ordinary dates per month, it took me a while with the visual. Oh, yeah, right... .. nope, can't believe it either.

It's Unmentionables Day in the
CoMpLePteLy RaNdOm July Declutter Challenge. Do you know where your undies are?

Morning Daily Card not yet finished here, I'm still listening for a buzz from the laundry twins.

But the Crossroads of Order for the Day has been nearly met.

Next up, brunch.
Then I promised HRH to help work on moving that chest, and on the idea of disconnecting/moving a tv rather than buying.

Good Morning

Time seems to fly by most of the time.

And then there is time that seems to crawl incredibly slowly.... Twenty Six more days until DS15 can drive. Life will change when that happens. I regain 1-5 hours of my day because I won't be his uber driver and/or legal driver ride along.

Big Rocks -
** DH and I have appointments at a skin clinic.
** Pick up prescriptions for DH
** Fresh bread to make sandwiches for boys lunches
** DS15 to his girlfriend church service.

Todays adventures includes lots of driving. Thinking about each segment...adds up to 4.5 hours of driving.
1.5 hour to skin clinic
1.5 hour drive from clinic to get prescriptions
.5 hour home
.5 hour to take DS15 to church
.5 hour to retrieve Ds15 from church
I am so very thankful DS15 coworker is picking him up and bringing him home from work or I would have an additional hour of driving.
Keeping my eyes on the light at the end of the tunnel.....26 more days........

Morning girls…

Went to class today but before I left took a 1/2 tab of my migraine med to see if it keeps it from returning like yesterday.

Eating my breakfast and drinking my coffee. My days plans have changed as Sweetie's classes have come in so we need to go to WM to pick them up.

I ordered a robotic vacuum cleaner from a mazon and it arrived yesterday. My head hurt too much to care, but once we get back from WM I’m sure we’ll open it. My friends husband loves theirs and she say he loves robots and treats it as a toy. Sweetie is the same way and can’t wait to start playing with it

As an interesting note… long ago when Sweetie worked for an electrical company and later it’s CEO and president… he invented and designed many items that were used to find electric wires an other similar types of products. He has patens on them, but they belong to the company he worked for.

Years later after he left the company, another company bought it along with all the patens. The other day Sweetie called me into his office and there on his computer screen was that company and picture of the products he had developed and has patens on… you can now buy them through the company on Amazon!!!

What's the difference between a deluge and a downpour? Who knows? (I'm sure I could look it up in a dictionary.) We are having a wet and windy day here. Woke up to a thunderstorm around 6:30. Went back to bed and woke up to overcast skies 3 hours later. Dh tells me we had quite a lot of rain just pouring down while I was sleeping. Less than an half hour ago there was another downpour. Weather people are running out of words.

Glad I have nothing to do outside. I have the window a/c going and the large fan.

I've been working in the kitchen. Topped up the cucumber salad. Made a bean salad with cucumbers and onions and tomatoes and red pepper added to the beans. I've also made jello. Now I'm waiting for the water to come to a boil to cook some pasta for another salad. All that, plus chicken thighs for supper.

Dh is expecting his bff to show up at some point today. Not expecting him for any meals, just a visit. He lives near Lake Erie which is an hour away on the back roads.

Later... Bff called and it's raining too hard to see past the hood of his truck. He's going to come here tomorrow or Friday.

We've had a change in weather, only 74 this a.m. and humidity has dropped so 74 was 74. I walked ddog four laps just now. We had a second rain shower around six yesterday, maybe 15 min. of good rain. It felt like everything was greener after! The high is only 87 and sunny later today, still overcast now.

I need to be at OT appt at 11, and need to finish a.m. routine and s2s before I go. I'll need to move!

No appointments this afternoon but last night I got the email with the editor questions for my case study. Things that weren't clear, footnotes that weren't clear, or don't point to the right image. So I'll work on that this afternoon.

Need to figure out our supper. I'll put the remaining grilled hamburgers and brats in the freezer with buns.

-----------
Ugh, didn't get this posted before I took off to OT. She worked my hand pretty good today, a little achy. There was also a thing that the hand and lower arm went into that had some kind of granules in it (almost like sand) and it heated up and felt wonderful!

More later...

The pink stuff product review;
Big FAil for me!
I put it on a shirt I had butter on from corn on the cob.
It did not touch it.
Plus I dislike the smell.
-----
Trying Krud Kutter on it now I will let you know how it does or does not do.

More laundry going.
One more batch of bread dough done.
Not doing any more used up the milk / cream actually that I want to for that project.

Nancy, I often make a paste of Oxiclean and apply, and let it sit for several hours.

I'm feeling resistant to doing things this afternoon. Maybe because I was busy yesterday, or maybe that I don't want to read about the issues in the article that I need to correct or explain or acquiesce to?

Nancy… same thing happened to me this morning. Butter on my shirt… I used dawn spray and it’s gone! I never use pink stuff on my clothing… only dawn spray
