I'm thinking I have a busy day coming up and shouldn't have lollygagged so much earlier this week. What are you thinking today?

Today we're supposed to have the new bed delivered and I'm not ready. I will need to make it up with new mattress cover, sheets and blanket, which are not laundered. I need to strip the current bed so dh and I can break it down into the garage when he gets back from his workout this a.m. And I still need to wash tablecloth et al from little dinner party Sunday night.
Delivery supposed to be between ten and two today. So hoping it doesn't run into my workout at two.
And it's the coolest a.m. we've had in weeks - now 68 degrees - and I want to walk ddog soon but we need to break down the bed first. If I had been up earlier and been *thinking* I would have gotten her walked in the hour while he was working out, but I couldn't get myself going fast enough. Mind you, I was up at 7:05.
so for now I need to strip current bed and start those sheets in washer...also, a.m. routine

Morning girls…
It’s laundry day for me, plus we are going to a Dan e recital for my dgd at noon. Just finished my morning routines and now need to jump in the shower
It’s over ast and gloomy due to the Sahara dust that’s overhead. Doesn’t keep the heat down but does reduce the chances of rain showers. We will see/
Waving to y’all off to start my day

Progress, bed is moved to garage (we're committed to new bed being delivered now!) and I've walked ddog three laps. Sheets for current bed in washer to go to guest bedroom upstairs.
I need to continue work:
-fold lol in dryer from earlier in the week (oops)
-breakfast/brunch
-start dishwasher, provably should have run it last night
-water plants in front
-reboot laundry

Good Morning!
My morning has been smoothly going from one thing to another. Steadily getting things done in a low stress way.
DS15 woke up at 6:30 and we talked for a few minutes. I was outside doing my Morning mile 20 minutes later when his coworker pulled into our driveway. DS15 didn't come outside so I came back in the house only to find DS15 asleep! He quickly got dressed, grabbed his lunch sack and was out the door. It is very rare for DS15 to do this. Typically Mr High Energy wakes himself up and is ready early. Not today.
Big Rocks -
** 1pm pick DS15 up from work and bring him home to clean up.
** 2pm take DS15 for yearly check up with family doc.
Little Rocks -
** Process tomatoes, peppers and onions
** Team up with DH to declutter, mow and weedeat area of yard between house, shop and shed.
** Sewing machine with DD13
We have an abundance of high carb food that the teens prefer. Spaghetti and pizza are available and ready to eat.
Today I will cook food that DH and I prefer. Chicken fajitas with lots of onions & bell peppers. I will make a small amount of Spanish rice for DH to have with it.
I made an amazing (IMHO) breakfast burrito this morning. I will be smiling all day each time I remember how good that tasted.
DD47 is supposed to come get DD13 and take her for a few hours to help clean a house this afternoon. I hope she keeps her word to DD13 and does not cancel again.

Bed is delivered and I did that round of five.
I didn't want to wash the new mattress pad and sheets until the bed was set up so will start that when current load in washer is done.
This round:
-finish kitchen clean up
-open boxes with mattress pad and sheets, remove packaging etc.
-empty the dust bin of the small vacuum cleaner and put it away. I had to hurry up and finish vacuuming in there before they got here.
-put away two loads of laundry folded so far
-clean jewelry
Ddog is happy now. She was disconsolate this morning since there wasn't a bed for her hangout. She was very agitated about the two delivery people putting together the new bed. I got her calmed down but she returned to barking until the bed was together and she could spring up there.

I'm working out at two so I'm breaking now. Need to have lunch and leave house in an hour. My arm/wrist/hand is aching a little.
Dh says he's sold out old bed.

Taking a break in front of fan to cool off. After having a few days break with temps dropping into the 90's, we are back to triple digits.
TA-DA's
** tomatoes processed
** Made and enjoyed eating a summer salad with main ingredients being cucumbers and tomatoes.
** Spent some time (until I got hot) picking up pieces and parts of STUFF from the yard area that we will be mowing & weedeating during the golden hour this evening. Most all of this STUFF belongs to DS15 and his friends. When they are doing vehicle repairs & projects here it seems they missed the memo to clean up their mess. I put all his STUFF in the middle of the driveway in front of his pickup so he will need to deal with the stack of treasures. Teenage boy treasures = 6' long tail pipe and muffler he cut off pickup to make it LOUDER, random gas tank from a dirt bike, rolls of copper pipe, high pressure spray washer, random boards, 2 bike tires, rolling cooler, a dirt bike without a seat....and I forgot what else.
DD47 did come get DD13 but brought her back within 30 minutes. Something about the house being so dirty and stinky with dead animal carcasses that the house cleaning was canceled. Shudder.....
DD47 has invited DD13 to help her make/sell donuts tomorrow at a local touristy town. DD13 is excited about doing it. It will be an early start for DD13 so she will need to get a early night's sleep. DD47 will pick her up in the morning. I am all for DD47 and DD13 spending time together.
I leave in 10 minutes for the 30 minute drive to get DS15 from working in the middle of nowhere and bring him home to clean up.
