Good morning!

Twins - Thank you for the start today and reminder about being methodical.

The more methodical I become, the more freedom I have for the rest of my time and doings.

I have been to the garden 3 times this morning in between doing other things. The number of times I visit the garden corresponds to how smoothly the rest of my life goes.
Garden doings this morning
** Rabbit care
** Scooped excessive ashes from firepit into a metal bucket. I have been burning the firepit almost every night. I sprinkled the ashes in the garden.
** Harvested beets, carrots, tomatoes, peppers, okra.
** Planted collard greens and broccoli that I found at a local hardware store. The plant starts were so beautiful that I couldn't resist bringing them home with me. I will also be planting greens from seeds in the next few weeks. I will be able to harvest greens for most of the winter.
** Started gathering twigs, leaves, branches to burn in firepit tonight.

I am having a noisy morning….my lania screens are being installed and it is a two day process. There is a lot of drilling into walls going on.

I have the last procedure of my root canal later today. Dread it, but at least I will be finished with it. Need to bring my book with me as there usually a delay at the office.

I have chicken in the fridge that I need to repackage so I can put it in my freezer. House is in good order, my morning and weekly routines make sure that happens.

Got to go… bbl, maybe. Depends on how my tooth goes.

ok - time to really work - geesh it's almost 11:30 and I sat on my Aunt Franny all morning.
It's supposed to be almost 90  as a coldy locks I don't care for 90 or even 80
- I have lots of work to do outside but my goodness - nope to the heat and the sun work today! I think that's why I am dawdling - I know I want to do the other work (perfectionist thinking) and I am letting my inner brat take over - "if I can't do what I want to do then I am not doing anything in the house" pout ;) 8-)

I ordered some giant noble spinach seeds - I thought I lettuce seeds and spinach seeds but I must of used them all up.

timer:
and 5 x 5

1. my meds
2. order lunch from the restaurant from mom's building to be delivered to her. done: French onion soup/quiche :D
I have to give her meds - but she was so so cranky when I called her at 10 - I thought I would leave her be before I go over there.
3. water pots and new plants - fertilize

bw2, yeah, in spite of my methodical opening this a.m. I've been sitting on my franny too, down a rabbit hole. I just had lunch, and need to kick things in to gear here. I need to be at PT at three p.m. today.

So I am setting the timer and going. That seems to be the only way I get things done...

It has been a morning of unplanned distractions for me. I took DH on two separate errands this morning that he HAD TO DO RIGHT NOW.
I am not comfortable with DH driving with his current mental status so I am his driver when he needs to go somewhere. DS16 let me know his coworker just got a call from school about bomb threat. I had just driven down the street in front of the school and didn't see any unusual activity. I texted with DD13 while driving back to the school. She said they had talked about it with the students, and she felt safe being there. She did not want to leave school. The local police just announced they have the person in custody that made the threating phone call to our school.
Apparently, we aren't the only school with this happening today.
DS16 girlfriend attends school 18 miles away and they also got a threatening phone call which put their school on lock-down.
DS16 told me the bigger city school about 40 miles away is also on lockdown because they received a threatening call too.

My mind is going in about 10 different directions at once. I need to take a break and settle down before continuing my day.

hello again -

stopped by mom and she was much happier than she was this morning. (ornery) 8-) . Mom, as an older individual, is so much nicer (most of the time :D ). her meds have been given and her lunch has been devoured. I emptied her fridge of over the edge food and washed what few dishes she had in the sink. I don't' think she ate breakfast. I couldn't tell because her camera's went off line but I fixed that!

I went to the grocery store. She will come at 6 for dinner. (I will have dd younger pick her up). - I will make her a fruit platter etc. for her fridge.

d twins - I didn't even go down a rabbit hole - lol I went into space out mode! hope pt makes you feel great!

hi d lady! I understand that - dh has gone through that too especially when I couldn't let him drive. I still can't believer you ds is 16!!! I am so sorry that the kids even have to go through a bomb threat. I hope they get help for the person that did this! Glad they caught him/her.

Time to put the few groceries away done
I started to water the front - the lack of water is really hurting nature in our area!

next have lunch -

what's the next right thing: I think:

1. put water in bird baths - put food out - I saw a chipmunk running from way across the street to our house - they must be hungry - normally I only put food out in winter but this year I have had to supplement the food for the birds.

2. water plants in pots and move on.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

I have done errands this morning.

Had lunch got it to go. Saw some friends when I picked up my food, after going to the
Mart. Our round about is not done and will be another year before it is complete. But I did make it through the detours.

Went to the thrift shop got books to use for my glue book projects.
Got glue sticks at the store.

A chair to figure out how to put it together in a while & pj's from $ dsis sent me.
That was fun. Got it assembled with out the back as I like the stool version works for me and
helps my core and posture! I went through the instruction methodically it helped!
I got the back put in it yea!

My pantry got a restock & food is mostly put away..
Cloudy and cool here today so that helps.

It's raining now, a worm walk is on the list  . X
Played in the dirt some today planted more bulbs daff. narcissus white with short orange centers and tulips I hope are pink
might be red. Glad I made room for them this weekend. Watered them in too.

Washed out the totes in the folding wagon and the wagon.
Called the place I was going to get to look at the tail lites but the do not do electrical dang.

DH and I are back home from helping a neighbor. The neighbor 3 doors down asked for our help in loading her DH into her vehicle. The fire/police/ambulance were called twice to their home today to help her husband get up after he fell. All the flashing lights emergency vehicles arrived during my walk this morning and then again a couple hours later. Neighbor now has made the decision to put her husband into nursing home so is taking him to doctor this afternoon to start that process.
