Re: Rabbit Rabbit, Great White November!
What a surprise to come here and see rabbits being discussed. My first thought was HOW DO THEY KNOW?
Earlier this morning the brown rabbit cage door was open when I went to feed them. I looked everywhere for any evidence that it was running loose, or something killed it but didn't find anything. With only one rabbit left I didn't want to leave him caged up alone. I talked to DH and we both agreed to open the last rabbit cage door and let it run free in the garden. Hopefully it will survive but at least it can experience freedom during the remainer of its life. I will continue to put food out for it, but I suspect it will choose fresh vegetables in the garden while they are still available.

Re: Rabbit Rabbit, Great White November!
Halloween was lovely. I shared on members page how to see my mom/pumpkin work.
Not many trick or treaters as usual (trunk halloween is popular at churches and or park districts)
my cousin is supposed to go to mom's - waiting for her to pick up keys/moms meds.
dd younger is going to Ohio - a dog thing.

blessed, Twins', LadyM - another "how did they know?"... .. Part of my Desk Day today is to call the "small animal rescue" two towns over to donate some small animal supplies. (from dd's rescue-ing days) Some things will be helpful for their rabbits, I think.
Monthly Threads are available for inspiration, encouragement, frustration-sharing, smiles, and for keeping up with villagers.
Like lucylee's experience yesterday, going through some older threads helped me today. I found that several Christmases ago I had posted some rather detailed instructions on how I made a little ornament using an odd short-cut. Well, I'd sort of forgotten. Life must have gotten busy (ya think?) and it must have been the only time I got the info down. At first, I actually had to read it again (
) to understand the short-cut. But I "re-figured" it out, even know what the template looks like so I can find it, and am so glad. Would I have been able to recreate that if I'd wanted to, unless I had posted then? So, I've made some hard copy notes now and also reminded myself where the post can be found, in the "notes" portion of my planner this week.
Again, thanks lucylee, for your post. Warm and cozy thoughts to Harmony and her family.

Re: Rabbit Rabbit, Great White November!
Earlier today DH and I went to the bank and grocery store. We got monthly cash to have on hand and money to pay tree fellas. At the grocery store we got food to restocked DS16 refrigerator and got more lemon yogurt for our refrigerator.
We have 4 fellas here working to remove a large tree next to power pole and grind 3 tree stumps. The previous owner of this place planted a sycamore tree next to a power pole but didn't consider the problems it would cause once that tree grew twice as tall as the electric pole. The past 2 years I have held my breathe every time we got an ice storm because of the high probability of the tree limbs pulling electric line down. There was no choice the tree had to come out. It was just a matter of us picking a time for its removal or an ice storm doing it after our electrical service was damaged. We choose to do it now and not wait for emergency status.
I have enjoyed having a half of a tuna/egg salad sandwich almost daily this week. However, I am reluctant to eat so much tuna so went searching for a different option. At the grocery store I saw Honeysuckle White turkey and that got me to thinking. What if I made the same salad but substituted ground turkey for the canned tuna? I had to talk to myself over and over while assembling the dish because it just seemed weird and wrong. It messed with my mind. LOL However the ingredients were high quality, nutritious and the end result tasted good so maybe it won't seem so weird after I get used to it. I like having this new-to-me recipe in my options of what to eat.

spoke to relative for a long long time. I am glad we have gotten to where we are. re-Learned something - what you think is not always what is going on in someone else's head or they may not see things the same way. A good heart is important and I will relish all new heart moments.

Re: Rabbit Rabbit, Great White November!
I slept REALLY late today. Of course, I didn’t START sleeping until about 4:00 am.
Not really letting thoughts bother me, but maybe watching tv to avoid thoughts. See my last post in Oct J&C if you are interested in my latest craziness. And, THANK YOU, LadyM, for assuring me I am NOT crazy,
I’m in line to pick up Dgd. Ddil says her back is hurting and ds and dgs are already on their way to ballgame. Dgs was on the checkout list to ride the team bus, so I know he is excited.
