I'll call getting the colonoscopy tomorrow an anti-procrastination task, thus the prep day today is totally counts for antiprocrastination credit.
What have you been putting off? Today's the day. Make it happen!

Hi! Thanks for starting us off today Twins'Mom!
Not truly an anti-procrastination task, but I'm going to go buy some red and green maraschino cherries today so I can bake some Christmas shortbread cookies at some point in the next couple of weeks. Has anyone else started baking for the holidays yet? I'm also planning on cleaning my oven soon.
I'm going to Walmart soon. Just waiting for dh to come inside.

Good morning! I will have to think about which of the many things I am procrastinating I will do today. Right now, I’m waiting for DC at the dentist’s office and will take them to school thereafter. This takes me right past the pharmacy we use, but it’s too early to see if my prescription is in yet. Hmph.
I woke up early this morning, and I’m just dragging. I think I’m just going to sit quietly in this chair till DC is done.

I finished breakfast and spent the last 1/2 hour as my one retriever (a constant retriever) brought me the following (this happens every morning)
1 pair of dd's boots - as we say - as we say "how a-boot that"

- so corny
my gym shoes
2 metal dog bowls - one and then the other.
Kleenex box
applesauce paper from garbage
cat food cans from closet
a fork from I don't know where
dh's large shopping bag
a bottle of water (full)
every day, all day, d dog is constantly retrieving one surprise after another.
now if the dog could just put it away
timer on 9:20 am
made mamo gram appointment for next week
Mouse people appointment on Monday next week set - we get mice every year in fall and this year is especially hard. (probably bc of the building down the block and mice coming in from the woods) I am so worried about the dogs/cat/and the hawks outside our house - we have hawks every day in our area. (they go for small birds). We have mice in the fields (in woods) that come to our area in fall. also there has been construction down by the small pond of our neighbors and the mice in that area could be seen running this way and that especially when the people mow down the grasses and cat o nine tails.
I don't want to do this but I have to -our crawl space is showing signs and our kitchen drawer that only has a few canned items in them had signs that there were mice.

Nancy, over on the thread you started you can I think you can delete yourself by looking for a red X and edit button at the bottom right. Harriet is our only active mod right now so might be awhile before she gets to it.
I've walked the dog - got around the block safely without needing a bathroom run (yes, I said it.) I was up and down all night after the round of purging. Today is clear liquids and another round of stuff to drink at six p.m.
I've been upstairs stamping a bit. Still didn't clean up that stamping desk. Perhaps that should be my antiprocrastination task too!
LOL, bw2! I always called our retriever, Macs, a "garbage retriever." Couldn't trust him around a garbage can. At least your little darling isn't chewing them up!

lol - d twins we always say that our labs get things LAB CLEAN - These girls: Gillie/Ghillie, 3 yrs old(after Gillian beach that our kids loved when they were young. Ghillie in Scotland is a person who works as a helper or servant to someone who is fishing or hunting,- so that kind of fit) and Gracie, 4 years old, would eat anything and everything (food wise) all day long. They used to tear things apart but have grown out of it (watch they will start again

).
