Let's get moving today! Whether it's inside or out, organized exercise or just enjoying a walk out, keep that body moving! Physical and mental benefits are ours when we move consistently.

Some ideas:
Use a standing desk when possible.
Set a reminder to stand and move at least once per hour.
Take a walk over lunch.
Walk during phone or conference calls.
Park far from store entrances, and enjoy your walk to and from.
Skip the elevator and use the stairs.
Walk around your house when doing routine tasks like brushing your teeth.
Take your dog for a long walk once daily.
Walk on a treadmill while watching TV.
Do yardwork, such as mowing your lawn, raking leaves or planting flowers.

Good morning!

Twins - Thank you for the start today.

I'm getting the teens situated with school, monitoring DH as he paces while trying to decide what my focus project will be today. More later....

I only have a workout today, and dh left again this a.m. for a three day trip, home sometime on Wednesday. So I'm getting a slow start this morning for sure.

It's gorgeous here today - springlike and going to 70 degrees. Dog is walked.

Good afternoon!

As far as moving goes, I'm doing much better when I set myself a recurring alarm to remind me to move every 20 minutes. I am beating my (admittedly tiny) step goal almost every day and coming close on the days I'm being a slug.

I did not get to either Dfriend's or the hockey game on Saturday. I slipped on the ice on my way to the car to head to dfriend's. I had to crawl to the grass, where the ice wasn't slippery. I had DH bring me out something to try to pull myself up on and had no luck. I got to the point where I no longer had enough strength in my arms even to crawl and rolled myself across the lawn to the back door, where I used the set of steps to the breakfast room door, which we don't use (weird configuration that would take too long to explain), to pull myself up first to sit and then to stand & walk back in the house. The whole process took a good 15 minutes, and I was sore and exhausted. I spent most of the rest of the day curled up in my chair. My right arm and shoulder are still sore, though I don't know if it's from something I did in the fall or from my efforts to get back up.

Missed my therapy appointment this morning -- I hadn't put it in my calendar. Saw the email reminding me of the appointment about 5 minutes after the appointment was over.

Finally got DD signed up for drivers' lessons. Once DC, who has finally shown their face downstairs -- I know they've been up since before 10 at least -- has finished eating, I will remind them to go online and work on their lessons some more.

I should eat something myself, though I'm not sure what. Maybe salad, as this is the warmest day we will have for a while.

Mystery … glad you weren’t hurt. Know you must have been tired by the time you got into your home. Take care today.

Yesterday I did more laundry. Bought a new steam mop and did my floors. Spent an hour hunting down a stinky smell in my kitchen when my cabinet garbage can is held. Washed all the bins and cabinet doors and drawers in the the area including the throw rug. Also deep cleaned the garbage disposal. Folded two loads of laundry that I had washed on Saturday. I was a busy bee.

We went out to eat last night to celebrate our 25th anniversary of being together. Sort of bittersweet as I wonder what next years will bring.

This morning I went to class and then played bocci. Already have 12k steps. I need to do some desk work this afternoon. Just finished my lunch and am taking a break.

Waving to y’all … BBL ❤️

slipped on the ice
((((Mystery))) I'm so sorry this happened to you. I have BTDT and it isn't a bit of fun.
celebrate our 25th anniversary of being together
Congratulations!

Daily tasks continue to happen here in between doing other things.

I made a blooper with DS16 homeschool assignments.
DS16 - I finished all the assignments that were on my calendar for today. Is it going to be this easy all the time now?
Me - No. We are continuing with all the curriculums this semester.
DS16 - There were only 2 assignments on the calendar for today.
Me - Look again. I put your assignments for all the curriculums on your calendar for the entire month. ***Pause*** Oh wait. ARGH! It is a new month. I messed up and don't have your assignment ready for today. I will get started on doing that ASAP.

Time for me to decide on my lunch now.
Snow is gone.
I have snow drops blooming in my yard!
Had to go out and check for sure yep it's true! Wa-hoo!

Chopped up zucchini for meals later on in the day.
To go with hb patty for dinner.
I will put bracelets in the de-clutter area as they clank on the key board I do not like that.
Brisk walk done.
