d twins - how did you know that I was ready for our conga line. I have my maracas ready and I am still wearing my Mardi Gras cloths - feathers, sequence and all; a very classy older Lassie. I am ready for the music and the Conga Line. thank you

Ooooh, so glad that our Mardi Gras outfits are still out and ready, we'll wear beads too!

I've done a quick s2s and am hoping for an early arrival for the repair dude for the icemaker. If not, I'll have to reschedule lunch w dcousin. And because my hip was hurting (yes, now it's was, it's just a little ache today) I just scheduled a 3 p.m. with dmassage therapist. Today seems to be "How many things can I jam into a day" day for me. And tonight at temple at six for services followed by dinner there.

I must walk the ddog. She is making me crazy,

It is a good day to have a good day! I am jumping in the Conga line dance with SHE friends.

Our weather today is simply perfect. 79F sunny, mild wind. Tomorrow, it will drop by 40 degrees but before that happens, we get to experience this wonderful weather day.

I saw the spring garden plants have arrived at the place I normally buy them. I want to go today to get my yearly plants while they have a good stock. I will have to baby them while waiting for winter weather to pass. I plan to purchase a few extra to plant early while accepting the high risk of them being frozen and lost. I'm good at gambling against the weather with a few plants. I expect to lose a few plants to freeze and spring hailstorms. I always have the option of planting seeds for any lost and/or varieties I want to grow that aren't offered at plant sale.

Mystery - You hair sounds perfect! It makes me smile just thinking about it.

LucyLee - WOW! Oh WOW! Good biospy results. Tree coming down. House repairs accomplished. New schedule for DGKids staying with you. Lots of changes happen and they all seem to be for the best of reasons and VERY positive.

Harriet - you and HRH got through these medical procedures together as best as can be. You are doing difficult things and being successful.

After haphazard nights of sleep, the atmosphere is tentative here. HRH keeps asking if I'm okay, which I am. He was up and down all night because he was so off-schedule. We talked at times. Like Twins', I have a clingy pet, too. We were gone a long time yesterday and Tobias wants us close today. He's been vocal to hurry us into the day. He is not so sure, right now, that he got enough breakfast.

So glad Twins' feels her hip is better with the pain. Sounds like a long day ahead. Great that part will be an appt with therapist for hip.

blessed, you are so encouraging this morning. Hope we all have some spiffy fun with our maracas and hats of fruit.

One thing I notice from yesterday is that I've gained a few pounds. HRH says they really filled me with fluids after all. Plus, with the long day we ended up eating cafeteria/restaurant food more than we planned. Fingers are a bit swollen.

I will try to stay away from too much sodium today. Apple, then simple cereal for breakfast I think. HRH is out there cooking, though, lol. I must conga away from his appetizing ideas, and think "leftovers" about them.

One cautionary thing about the lovely gift of soups I received is that one one-cup serving has about 1,000 grams sodium. Yikes. And it's meant to be eaten with the rolls and cookies. (smile)

It is a good day to have a good day! I am jumping in the Conga line dance with SHE friends.

You are doing difficult things and being successful.
Echoing LadyM thoughts to Harriet this a.m.

Today is to be cloudy, high middle sixties with a stiff wind. I walked ddog a lap and a half, was with dfriend M who needed to shortcut home for bathroom break.

Rescheduled lunch with dcousin for next week. She does not think she'll be able to go to the beach with us first of May. Urgent bathroom needs override being in a car for very long.

Glad you have a rest day today Harriet to watch your diet and rest up too.

bw2, you truly have such a positive attitude! Thank you for taking the time to post with us.

I have 8 people coming tomorrow night for dinner - we are grilling portobello mushrooms, steak and chicken and others bringing sides, etc. Right now I have the Roomba going to get up the dog hair for now. We (dh and I, ha ha, maybe wrong pronouns because may be me?) need to do some clean up on the screened porch tomorrow - sweeping, a little dusting, and running the vacuum on the rug. Will be sixty degrees at six p.m. when arrival is scheduled, so we may be using porch, and dh may want a fire later. Need to discuss Honey do list and firepit possibility with him. Other thing item on my mind is the back windows looking west which are nasty, and the sun setting really shows up how dirty they are. I'm wondering if we should put in some time trying to clean windows - the french doors are pretty easy but window by breakfast table is huge.

My mind is everywhere today - freezer ice maker repair, dinner tomorrow night (grocery list!!!) hip, body work this afternoon, temple tonight. And this is a busy weekend - he have to make an appearance at an anniversary open house on Sunday, then busy week next week too.
