Good morning to all! First Monday of daylight saving time. We may be dragging a little getting up and about, but think of all that "extra" daylight at the end of the day, lol.

Let's go, go, go!

Morning Twins…

For some reason I’m doing well with DST. I was up before my alarm but I think is because I usually get up at 5 for a restroom run and I usually get up at 6. So with the new time my 5 turned into 6.

Benn to class, but before I left I turn on my dish washer. Picked up my footprints last night, but haven’t finished my morning routines. I’m eating my morning muffin and drinking my second cup of coffee. I’ll do test of my stuff after I finish

I have a genealogy presentation later this morning that I’m going to. Was going to finish working on my garden after that, it it suppose to be storming by then

See y’all later …

Happy Birthday to LadyM's dh today.

Good morning, Twins' and Ramblin'!

We have just worked on getting groceries put away from an order we put together yesterday. I awakened in the night about 3 or 4 and realized it was days until ds' bday and I hadn't gotten ingredients for his bday pie yet. Happily, there was still an hour left to put in extra items, and this morning the ingredients are all here. Whew! Relieved about that.

Need to call ds sometime today to find out his schedule. In the past, I have made a pie for him and then found out he was away on a trip! Another problem with making it too early is that our fridge fits the 1958 fridge space of this house, so there's not a lot of staging room in there!

Good Morning!

I slept until 7am when the alarm to wake DD13 went off. I was sleeping so soundly that it took me a moment to understand why my phone was making a noise. The time change got me. I didn't have time to do a morning walk before taking DD13 to school so the walk happened as soon as I got back home. Homeschool with DS16 was smooth this morning. It was mostly reviews of previously covered subjects that went quickly and easily. It is 10:30am and DS16 has finished school and is out the door to what he enjoys doing = being in the wide-open spaces playing with big farm toys (skid steer, tractors, excavators, etc) AND getting paid to do it.

Thank you for remembering & celebrating DH birthday with us. We did most of the celebrating this weekend while the teens weren't in school so now that it is DH actual birthday it feels like we are partied out. I hung the Happy Birthday sign first thing this morning and that will be up all day. DH finished eating his birthday sweets for breakfast today. Otherwise, we are back to normal.

Great that he's coming home, bw2, Take some time for yourself and breath, too!

My starter just isn't working today! I had hoped that, by taking it easy yesterday, I'd have some energy today, but no, not this morning. I was dead tired around 8 or 9 p.m. and thought I'd stay up a little longer, and then it was 11 p.m. and I was still reading.

I'm piddling around at various things and not finishing anything. I can't believe it's nearly noon, too. I'm working out at two p.m. today and must do a couple of errands - p/u at CVS and p/u at Staples. Staples is out of the way, however, so I'll see. I also need to return borrowed steak knives to dfdriend who brought them on Sat night, but turning left out of her street is horrible, and I'll be going the wrong way. So I'll see. Maybe, maybe not.

Three things:
-breakfast/brunch
-clear up kitchen counters and check off
-fold a lol

Our yard was just mowed for the first time this spring. Only a few places needed it, but it sure does look cleaned up nicely.

This has been the fastest morning ever. Will be leaving for workout soon. Hoping I don't get any weird muscle cramps today!

Now that I'm about to leave ddog wants out. Sorry, no. I'm leaving the screened porch door open for her to enjoy outdoors, but not yard. BTW, the freshly mowed yard smells wonderful.

I'm hoping when I get back I can get upstairs some. Dh is out tonight and I'll have some genealogy or stamping time.

hi d lady - you must have had a cozy night sleep - wonderful.
yay on a homeschool smooth morning for both of you!
I love that your Ds's job is outdoors enjoying the equipment - getting paid a good bonus.

hello everyone.

I set up dinner - It ready to be stuffed into cabbage leaves. I had a big cabbage and I figure I will finish it off this way.
working on dh's room
mom was up and went to lay down again. I was going to wash her hair but she is asleep (all cozy in her jammies) waking her doesn't seem right. I will try waking her up in a half hour.

Grass mowing season! Finally! I need to get the push mower out and put it into daily use. It is an activity that brings me joy AND will help increase my step count. The bonus is that the grass clippings are used as compost in the garden. Win! Win! Win!

I contacted a fella about setting traps for racoons at our home. The racoons are becoming braver and destructive. It is time for them to find a new place to live far away from here. I will also talk with him about the gopher/mole situation around our home and garden. We have open pastures on two sides of our home so there will always be wildlife here. Just trying to find a balance. He will start the removal/relocation process this evening.

I have lost count of how many tomato and pepper plants I have transplanted into bigger pots. I do one or two every time I go outside. I might be 10% done. Maybe.
