It's Monday and it's magical! We can make anything of this week, we just have to decide and go do it! It's just magical - and we get the chance every Monday to have a new, magical week!

Great to see you, Twins'.

Nancy passed 25 thousand total posts here yesterday. When Pam and Peggy gave up internet hosting on Webforums, I believe, it was Nancy, Indiana and others who were "here" (previous site) to welcome us newcomers to CEO's hosting, where they had already been posting together. I'm sure I could stand corrected on some of that. Anyway, Nancy, it's nice to notice your consistency today!

lucylee, good job getting all that Desk Day and minutes done.

Our household has had a slow start this morning because HRH had a restless night. I need to work some MAGIC and get us to the beat of a faster drummer!

I'm so very glad that I didn't set a day that I "had" to be home, and that I left the early part of this week pretty open. I had cancelled my workout for today, just have to show up on Thursday. I have a dermatologist appt tomorrow to follow up on the Rogaine script and I may ask for a script for some of the brown places on my face.

I just walked two laps with dfriend M to catch up with her. We're having cooler weather - she said high was 85 here on Saturday - but today is only supposed to be mid-fifties and cloudy and still damp. I think we see sun again tomorrow. There are flood warnings for a couple of local creeks that empty into the river.

Today is just catch up, wind down. Dh suggested we go out for dinner which sounds great.

WTG, Nancy! I hope you get to do some fun things this month. It's a busy season here as well. This Friday night we have the baby naming for Z's baby girl - as close to a grandchild as we have. That's Friday night and the following night begins Passover. Easter is the following weekend, and we have weekend guests coming in then.

I slept well last night Harriet. I'm sorry that HRH had a restless night - was there something that triggered the restlessness?

A quicky…

Been to class, made some dr calls and then and played bocci.

Home now eating my lunch. Haven’t watered my sunnies toda, but we’re excepting thunderstorms tonight and for most of tomorrow.

Waving to y’all… I’m off!

Just like magic the sun came out for a bit.
I swept the drive way.
Burned dead headed stuff in the fire pit between showers so glad that is done!

Thanks every one for the kudos!
So much fun to work with you.
Glad to say it was quite here this weekend in the neighborhood.

Rain fire, wind & more rain so far today.
Got over half of my steps doing that this morning.
Had perfect timing on my tasks using the fire pit today yea!

Class x

Looking for LadyM's report on her plants, and hoping it's magical. We had a big big snow - over 15 inches followed by several days of below freezing temps - in mid March 1993 and I had daffodils make it through. I do think snow insulates against the lower temps.

I've started laundry and dishwasher and partly unpacked. First load of laundry is hanging to dry and a second just started. It will go into the dryer, except for three shirts to hang up. My computer bag is emptied, reloaded and put away.

I need to have my brunch.

Good morning! (said while noticing I only have 3 minutes left of the morning)

I do love having habits & routines that get things done almost without effort. I am a professional level procrastinator and can talk myself out of doing most anything, however if I have a routine then I do it without trying to procrastinate. I don't understand the reasons behind that pattern but just recognize that it exist.

I was the crazy lady out in the garden at 3am this morning. The weather forecast changed from 33F to 31F by 6am so I decided to give up sleep and try to save the plants from freezing. I got started but it didn't take me long to realize there was no way that I could protect all 100+ plants. I apologized to them and bid them farewell before I left the garden and returned to bed. I woke up a couple hours later to find the weather forecast had changed again and the low temp was 35F. I think most of the plants are fine but won't know for sure for a few more hours. The potato green leaves are turning dark so maybe the temps did drop below freezing. Thankfully we are now done with this cold weather snap and returning to our normal weather. We are expecting to reach 92F later this week.

TA-DA's =
** My AM personal care done. Shower, D2S, hair, face, teeth, exercise and morning walk
** DD13 to school while chatting during the drive there
** Homeschool with DS16
** Happening in the kitchen food reviewed, planned and accomplished in between doing other things.
** DSIsIL dropped by for a visit which resulted in an hour talking and catching up. She brought a 5 week old Jack Russell terrier & chihuahua mixture to try to tempt us to get one. It was so cute and adorable. But I have no intentention to bring more kids or dogs into our home. No, thank you.

yay on your ta da's d lady!!!!
we are having the same weather as you - right now it's snowing
I still remember the blizzard when I was 13. We were driving on a highway in my parents white Volkswagen bug and every time a truck went by, our car went into the next lane. That was April 4th. It is crazy how one can remember things.

I wrapped the 5 ft. magnolia that dd's bought a few years ago.
I also had to wrap the small apple tree as well - the other is too big.
Brought in the new boxwoods I ordered - they are in the garage.
