A multiple award-winning rose with genuinely beautiful flowers, demonstrating an amazing color palette of subtle ivory, buff, and the lightest apricot hues. These blooms are produced on a densely branched medium sized shrube.

‘French Lace’ produces delightful ivory buds with a subtle hint of apricot, unfolding into very double and high-centered flowers with the average diameter of about 8 – 9 cm (3 ½ inches). They appear in a small clusters of 3 to 9 flowers.

The colour is a beautiful mix ivory, buff, and the lightest apricot hues. With age the flowers fade to light ivory, almost white.

Having made it till Friday this week seems like a much bigger achievement than normally! It's the twins' birthday sleepover today, so there's a lot I need to do for that, and I have a lot to do for work as well. Plus on Sunday my mother is coming to celebrate the girls as well and she's bringing in my sister and her kids (something I am not thrilled about because I really don't want a repeat of Christmas but apparently I am not being given a choice about who comes to my house because family sticks together, but somehow it's always me who has to hold everything together for others). Anyway, enough of a rant!
Terri insisted on walking to the bus stop this morning (it's half a mile), saving me the trip to school and back. Yippee! It means that if I get started now, I will have an hour for housework before I need to log in for work, which should give me a good headstart!

Good morning Trissie and thank you for starting us off. WTG for surviving the week! I totally get the feeling of not having a say in who comes to your house!

BIL has arrived, dumped his stuff.amd the men have left for a beer festival. Fortunately, the weather looks as though it's going to be sunny, which will be nice for all of us.

Ive just spent an hour deleting photos on Google photos, as apparently Ive run out of storage. For now, I'm not agonising on over which of six nearly identical (but good!) photos of DDeparted Trifle to delete (I'm keeping all those for now!) I'm just going through and deleting anything that's blurred, needed for just a "one-off" time etc. I started with 2015, which is as far back as it goes, and I'm now up to 2021, so not too bad. I need to take a break now and do something useful, and come back to this later. I also need to have a big clear out of emails.

My main aim for today, however, is to spend as much of it as I can in the garden, and enjoy the peace until the men return!

Morning kittykatt. Email can build up really fast. Have a productive day Trissie and yay it’s Friday! We are off to Hopkins today helian. We still have weekly appointments at the moment.

Ive done a few things, but I really need to get moving. I'm now expecting a parcel today (I thought it was coming tomorrow!) so I'll do a little housework and the concentrate in my front garden so I don't miss the postman. I could also delete emails whilst sitting outside!

WTG having finished with work, Trissie!

The house is looking reasonable, my parcel has arrived and I've tried everything on. I was undecided over the dress, but when I laid it on the bed to think about it. Jude promptly lay on it. So I guess she has decided for me, and thinks I should keep it! I'm now outside sitting on my folding chair, and zipping through emails. I don't think I'll be able to do photos out here, as the sun is so bright. But that will be a job for this evening to keep me occupied while BIL is talking...and talking.
