Are you well-prepared for whatever is out there looming on the horizon? Prepared for company this weekend (EEEEEKKKKKKK! That's me.) Prepared for ill weather in this spring season of unstable weather? Prepared for the challenges of your household and family?
Spend a little time today thinking about what you can do to be better prepared for whatever might be around the corner. And for the record, we're more than half-way through April and how in the world did that happen to us?

You're always so on track Twins. Be prepared. There must be a way to be prepared. I do so much better when I know ahead what I'm doing than when I get things thrown at me Spur of the moment. That makes me anxious and unpredictability with family stuff is being good at that lately.
Yes company this weekend. I've got to connect with dd and find out if they know when they will arrive and if they have connected to bring grandpa(dh dad) along. Plus a crisis to fix at dad's. I have to let it go. And figure out how to make it so either he can prevent those messes I have to clean up cause he can't. Some of it can't be completely prevented but there must be a way to get mom to do what we want instead of him thinking she's being stubborn and won't. More like a circle of doing things how she always has been and you have to help her all the way through to get it to change. Thanks blessedw2. For the understanding of

No company coming this weekend. Dh's mom can't travel this far. (it's an hour in the car, but she has problems sitting that long.) My dd seems to think that her SO's family is more important.
House is mostly clean and fresh smelling. It's very windy here today and the temperature is down with snow in the forecast.
I think today will be a pajama day with reading in bed planned for later.
Tonight we will have a shake'n'bake pork chop with sliced and fried potatoes and some peas.
I need to run the dishwasher today.

I'm the one having houseguests beginning around 1:30 on Friday to 3ish or so on Sunday. I'm trying to do some planning and look at today and tomorrow and beyond and I can't even think straight because ddog wants me outside with her.
Just realized I made an appointment for a pedicure this a.m. so that's on my calendar. Need to be there in less than an hour away, but it's very needed. Ddog is walked so top priority is brunch/breakfast before I can leave. I've been lollygagging and am not "well-prepared." Was thinking appt was tomorrow but I was trying to keep tomorrow free, with exception of workout.
So today needs to be planning, genealogy, dinner for us, and preparation/planning for what I need to do tomorrow.
Ugh. And dh set up an appointment for us on Friday a.m. too.

Dishwasher is going.
I have a home made rice pudding in the oven. It smells so good!
There is also a load of laundry doing it's "wrinkle free" dance in the dryer.
I even told dh that it was a pajama day and all I was going to do is read and stitch and play on the computer.

Good morning!
Typical school day happening here. My personal AM care done well, DD13 delivered to school, DS16 started on homeschool, DH and I fed breakfast, kitchen things are WIP.
I set up a simple visual schedule for DH to take his antibody meds 3 times a day. There are 3 containers with one pill. Each of the 3 containers has a note beside them stating MORNING, NOON, EVENING. I am hoping he can follow the logic to take one pill at 3 different times of the day. The worst that can happen is he will take all three pills at the same time....or won't take any of them. I will be refilling each of his 3 containers & monitoring daily. Hoping for the best.
Received text from HD with instructions how to prepare for delivery of stove on SAturday. They must know that I will procrastinate until the morning of delivery.

Home from pedicure. Like an idiot I walked through Michaels by the salon and wrangled myself something else to do, lol.
I do have a lengthy list for today, more than I can do but I want to devote some time to genealogy too. The timer for 45 min of work begins at 15 after the hour and will be followed by a break or 45 min of genealogy, whatever is needed.

hello Mom is talking again - she is in pain but they are not sure if they will do surgery - she has fracture lines in her right pelvis but her brain is good. (of course confused but can say words) - She will go to rehab bc I will not be able to get her walking and can't pick her up even though she is small.
my brother gave me the day off and dd is there as well.
she can eat - so that is good.
waving to all of you!!!!!

Breaking, will do 45 min of genealogy after 15 min break here. I got myself cleaned up and bed made, laundry rebooted and almost folded, and screened porch swept in the corners and edges. The roomba is going out there, I can almost hear it coughing because of pollen but where it's gone looks pretty good.
bw2, thank you for the update! I'm so sorry!
