Nancy - Thank you for starting us off today.
I have managed to stay focused on getting my must-do's accomplished this morning.
** Personal care done well including AM walk and exercises.
** Kitchen necessities happened
** DD13 to public school. She is taking state test today and tomorrow.
** DS16 homeschool assignments finished and graded
I am seeing the benefits from using SHE cards. Many tasks were not being taken care of in a timely manner. I am working through the backlog to get all the SHE cards caught back up. Some of the SHE card tasks fell through the cracks....
** DH CPAP mask replaced every 90 days. We contacted the medical equipment place and verified they have doctor order in place, and that it has been more than 90 days since the mask was replaced. (insurance covers new mask after 90 days). We are good and can pick up the new mask the next time we are in the city (Wednesday)
** Micro grooming appointment made. This is supposed to happen every 50 days. oops.
** Tag for two vehicles renewed. We went to the tag agency this morning but ran into a problem with the state computer system not getting verification from our insurance company. Weird! I had the insurance cards printed out but the tag agency is requiring the insurance company to fax them verification of having insurance. I contacted the insurance company and they sent a fax while we were on the phone HOWEVER they said it will take up to 3 hours for the fax transaction to happen. >>>shaking my head<<< how can a fax take 3 hours....
Not a SHE card but I spent time with oral surgeon office to get set up for DS16 consult appt on Wednesday. I thought it was strange that they are requiring that I bring the adoption papers to this appointment. That isn't a problem, and I have the adoption papers easily accessible, but can't remember the last time that I had to show them. it makes me wonder how they knew DS16 was adopted.....how did they know? And why do they want to see the papers? They aren't asking for his birth certificate (which lists me as his mother) but just want to see the adoption papers. >>shrugging shoulders<<<, Ohs well. The strangest things that make me go huuuuummmmmm

Today is the day for our Federal Election. Dh and I voted a while ago at the Elections office here in our tiny town.
Weirdest news of the day so far, (I don't know how old this news is) is that now anyone not in college in the US has to do 4 years in the military. I immediately thought of LadyM's son and dd. I think they are the only teenagers I know of that might be affected by this.
I went to knitting this morning. One of the women is originally from Buffalo. She gets updates from her family about what's going on there. She is distressed for the teenagers in her family.
Dh wants an easy supper tonight. For whatever reason, he wants ramen noodles. Hmmm...
I need to empty the dishwasher and put away clean clothes. There is no craft group this afternoon because the only other person that shows up is working at a polling station today.
If it wasn't windy, today would be perfect.

That is weird news, and not truth.
The U.S. military is a volunteer force, meaning individuals choose to enlist or be commissioned.
There is no draft or requirement to serve in the U.S. military.
DH is on his 3rd battery in the push mower this morning. He is full of energy and desire to be busy.
I typically mow most days until the grass catcher fills up. Then I empty it into the compost pile and stop mowing until the next day.
That reminds me.....I was going to look up how to turn off the light bar on DH mower. I can't find a switch for it.

After lunch CI ~
Had another class I waited to listen to and was SUCH a wise choice as it went long.
So I was able to sit outside for some of it with bare feet on the grass.
Dug out a plant by the a/c unit while I listened also.
Did some updating on planner pages one mo. undated calendar for reuse as a divider.
Got the pizza's bagged up and just took em downstairs and put em in the freezer.
Cooking Day tasks accomplished.
Got the trash dumped and de-cluttered some things pitch and toss day tasks accomplished.
We have rain in the forecast tomorrow early might Park rigs outside to get a free wash! LOL!
Waving way to go on your progress everyone!
Listening to a yt vid. about AI / there is a free course for 50+ age at
B.S.U. collage . I've been using it a bit on Google.
So far just a toe in the water and some good info,
I do not really want to have to sign up for new stuff to have to down load and just
use what I"ve been using.

It's great to see Twins CI from her temporary home.
RR - What a relief that you are feeling better and able to proceed with your trip. I am thrilled for you.
My 7 year old phone has been doing okay so I have been resisting replacing it. However, now it is struggling to charge, and the battery can't keep a charge for several hours. It is 6 versions behind the operating system because the hardware can't support the newer OS. Some of the apps won't work on such old operating system so I am limited what apps I can use. As someone who loves technology I am somewhat surprised that I have been content to use old phone. Everyone in the family has a newer better phone than me. All this to say.....today I forced myself to get a newer phone. The new-to-me phone has free operating system upgrades through 2032. Hopefully I will get 7 years of use from the new phone.

Dh and I spent time outside just sitting at the patio table. I made supper. I took the kitchen garbage out. We have a "tornado watch" for tomorrow. The temperature will be tropical for April Almost 80. Rain expected as well.
I like the fact that weird news is false regarding having to go into the army. Also hearing that ALL truck drivers need to read and speak English, including drivers that don't live there and Uber drivers as well. A lot of over-the-road, long haul truckers from Ontario are immigrants to Canada and don't speak the best English and some are very hard to understand. Waiting to see how that goes. There has just been so much on the news over the past few days, not including all the political coverage and all the commercials.
Seeing as we are supposed to have awful weather tomorrow at some point, I told dh that I'll be doing some work in my closet tomorrow moving the warm weather clothes to the rod that is right in front of my face. It's a twice a year job. Dh's side doesn't get the same treatment.

Hi
My reunion with cells went very well.
Morning was very cheerful. Earned a window sticker for walking. Then had breakfast, suddenly

lost breakfast.

Then cell reunion. Then, with nausea meds, no further queasiness. Just very sleepy.
We were visited by dstepson.
Hugs to each of you.
