Tina Turner (born Anna Mae Bullock; November 26, 1939 – May 24, 2023) was a singer, songwriter, actress, and author. As a rock icon, her vocal prowess, raspy vocal delivery, electrifying stage presence, live performance record and breaking the color barrier as an artist in rock helped her to be dubbed the "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll". WTG with your progress with the government site, Dogged. I think these "official " sites are often deliberately designed to test our sanity. Our local council's website has a notice saying it may not work properly for users of Chrome, and to use something else .Why do t they just make it compatible with Chrome? It's fairly widely used after all!

Bama, I can't tell the difference in taste between Prosecco and Nosecco,.and it certainly looks convincing. Many stores do their "own version", but we are having the "genuine article" because a) I am lazy and it's what Waitrose stocks so I can just add it to my order and have it delivered, and b)Waitrose have it on almost permanent special offer, so that , together with the money off voucher I had, brought the price down to well below that if even the Discount stores!

L.Ann, I think you could be right, although DF CW wanted to make sure it wasn't an after effects of eating a dead mouse that was "off" or something similar!!!

Helian, I'm glad your DH is back safely. I hope you have a good night's sleep and feel refreshed today.

Laura, I'm sure helping your DDad with his garden meant a lot go him, and has given him peace of mind.

Today, DH is WFH, I need to do something in my back garden, have a walk before it gets too hot, and clean downstairs. DF HT will be dropping by sometime this afternoon, to drop off a potted rose I'll be looking after for them while they're on holiday. It doesn't matter if the sitting room is upside down when she comes, as the forecast is for a lovely sunny day, so we can have a cup of tea in the garden. As she's allergic to cats, this will be a win-win situation!

Fix garage guttering that's loose at one end and bending down. Dneighbour R2 may fix?
Fix dripping kitchen tap (new washer ?)- DF E has given me the phone number of her plumber . I think DF CW also has a plumber she is happy with?
Take up and hem those thick winter curtains for the kitchen
Book eye test for me
Find picture hanging equipment for DH
Sort prints and put in albums (this will probably be an activity to do on wet days!) WIP I am now working on 2024
Think about setting up Guardianship for F,J and M - looked on Cats' Protection, I need their microchip numbers, approximate DOB, colour and markings and useful information about them. Bookmark link with local recommended solicitors (also ask DF CW?)
Change health centres to the one nearest us? On hold ATM , but I'll leave it on my list so I don't forget.

Im having breakfast in my garden, as it's a beautiful sunny morning. My aim is to water before the sun gets to my pots, trim them it's sticking out on the hedge, and some weeding.g / deadheading. Also sweep the patio in case DF HT stays for a cup of tea. She am her DH are off on holiday tomorrow, so she .ay only have time.for a fleeting visit, but I like to be welcoming! Freddie has had his walk, everyone has been fed, and I e helped DH find his Bluetooth speaker.

Having lunch with DH, after a very productive morning in the garden. Housework this afternoon, and DF HT is coming round at some point to drop off a rose I'm babysitting for them while she and her DH are away. As she's not given a time and the sitting room is likely to be in turmoil, we can have a cup of tea in the garden - the patio furniture is set up already!
