Thinking of LadyM's household today as her ds goes in for some dental work.

Thinking of Harriet and her naked spot in the garden. I would be having a discussion with all the possible people who may have done that!!

If today is Thursday, I must have walked to the end of the driveway at least once. Today was ALL the garbage, so there were 3 separate trips. Recycling first. Garbage second and the large compost bin last. It's absolutely pouring rain here. Dh has gone back to bed. I told him that I am going to knitting, but I'm actually going to drop that blue jay cross stitch off at the framer's! I also have at least one other stop in that town.

I'm in waiting room at Oral surgery clinic. DS16 has been in surgery for 20 minutes so far. I am hopeful he wakes up without delirium.

LadyM… good news!

It’s laundry day here… boy this week is spinning fast.

Dr says when I had my allergy test a few eeeks ago, they test for mold, so I’m cleared. No surgery, but I have blockage in on nostril so they may do a procedure on it in a few weeks. Dr says no black eyes when they do this now and it can be done in the office now! Thinks some of my problem is acid reflex so I’m on meds for that twice a day.

Interesting fact, he told me you don’t have to feel the acid reflects, but you still can have it so that was an interesting thing to find out.

I have two dental appointments this afternoon. One to get my teeth clean and the other to get my crown put back on. I find it very interesting that I have had no pail since it feel out

I am GREATLY RELIEVED to have DS16 wisdom teeth surgery over without any problems. The surgery wasn't a concern but his reaction to anesthesia. He came home with 4 prescriptions - 2 types of pain meds, antibodies and steroid pack. We will be doing ice packs 20 minutes on/off today.

DH is having a good mental day and got DD13 to school this morning.

DD13 gets out of school at 12:40 today and that will be the END OF SCHOOL YEAR.

Hey, everybody! I am waiting for the gas company to come to inspect the (inside) meter. (Routine inspection to check for tampering.) They are supposed to come before noon and text me a little in advance. Of course, I got up a bit early to make sure I was presentable in case they showed up at 8:00 on the dot. Perhaps this guarantees that they will arrive at 12:05.

Checked in and there is no payroll work to do. Wasn't really expecting anything, as the person who is most likely to send me something is out at a conference.

Two big things on yesterday's agenda: visit to the cardiologist and trip to JoAnn's. The cardiologist says he's not worried about anything and said that he doesn't think I need an echocardiogram as my primary care thought. I asked him about methylphenidate, the next drug my psychiatrist wants me to try since the Adderall did nothing. He said not to worry, just to take it slow ramping up the dosage the way we had with the Adderall and keep monitoring my blood pressure. And of course, to exercise and eat right.

JoAnn's was mostly for the kids' benefit. DC got lots of beads, mostly, and some variegated yarn in nonbinary colors. DD mostly got supplies to make a wallet like the one she has now. She's really fond of it and it's falling apart. I can understand how she feels. It took me forever to find the wallet I have to replace my old one. I have this one's replacement ready to go -- when I spotted one I liked, I waited for it to go on sale and jumped on it. I think I like it better than the one I currently have, but I will use this one until it gives up the ghost, which may be soon -- the zipper is starting to stick, and the strap is starting to fray. (I suppose you could call it a purse, but it's more a wallet on a string -- not room for much but the essentials.) Anyhow, I got some wrapping paper, some fairy lights, a skein of yarn to practice crochet with, and a couple of fabric markers.

Congratulations to LadyM's DD13! I do hope she doesn't take it the wrong way, after all. Glad DS16 got through his oral surgery, too. And glad you're relieved.

I will have to ask DH if today is a good day to go to dinner. I'd really like to have a sit-down with the kids as soon as possible after the weekend, and I'd like us to be on the same page. This requires a chance to talk without the kids around. If the weather were better, we could go to the park, but it is chilly and rainy. So I have to figure out where will be a good place to go -- somewhere not too crowded, not too expensive, and not likely to kick us out if we stay for a while.

How nice a trip with your kids to craft store, Mystery.

Cathy, that is how I feel, too, but I can't do the yardwork myself and need to be cautious in response to this. I don't think my grandson did it, for instance, but if he did, I need to tell him gently.

Lauralind, how I wish it was all only moved, but it is fully decimated and now growing sand, lol. I am reminded of the old axiom, "Nature abhors a vacuum". For some reason, folks holding cutting tools can confuse neatness with attractiveness - they are not always the same!

blessed has not posted since Saturday. Thinking of her dmother, her family, and hoping blessed is well.

HRH went out and got our prescriptions today. Thankfully, it looks as if nothing went wrong.

Our last day of school is mid June, and the public schools here won't get out until the end of June! It's cold today, mid 50's! Our heat came on this morning!

I finished up a mail in medical test for kidney stones and now am waiting for it to be picked up. I cleaned the downstairs bathroom. Made some doctor appointmnets, plan to wash and change all the sheets, and try on all my shorts and cull what I have! Then I have to clean off the countertops and gather all my give away stuff for goodwill. I also have to do some fast walking. I got a weighted vest to wear around the house while doing work and if my family wants to walk in the neighborhood or park.

There's no school tomorrow due to a snow day that we never got so my kids and I are looking foreward to a slower and relaxing morning.

I'm up got triggered yesterday when I saw the medic's at the house on the street behind me on our walk yesterday.

It is helping with the fence fighting 3 dogs next door.
