Thank you for the fabulous start to our Friday funday, Twins' Mom!

I've been up since around 4:30, thanks to a certain Baby cat, who shall remain innocent. It wasn't her fault that "dad" shut her into the room instead of out of the room. I heard meowing and felt a paw tapping my body. I tried to get back to sleep after letting the cat out of the room, but I couldn't stop thinking about things in general.

I've been stitching and reading and fussing around and not finishing much of anything.

Saw on Facebook where empty Nestor sold her place and is now moving to Michigan to assistant living. Her family helped her move.

I am getting ready to go to my neurologist appointment. Already been to my class. Later on this evening, I’m going to see a psychic with a group of my friends. That should be fun.

I might have the donwannas again today. I'm feeling achy from my workout yesterday for sure and need to get myself moving this morning. Dh came in after his meeting and is walking the ddog. Not sure what the day holds. I have a Stamping order coming today, would like to play a little perhaps.

Dh has scheduled his trip to NYC for the memorial service for dcousin. (See J & C yesterday.) He talked to dfirst cousin last night and he and wife will pick him up at airport and put him up in Yonkers, where they live, and they are going to service and shiva too, this is Sunday p.m. He will have time on Monday to see dd before getting home on Monday p.m. late. He has a last client trip scheduled Monday - Tuesday, 23-24 June to California. Part of me feels bad about not going to NY for this but I think it's probably better for my happiness not to go.

I was tired last night and slept well. Up at the alarm this morning.

Hi, RR, yes I saw that also and meant to mention it!

Waving to Cathy too.

I'm later arriving in PWYC than normal. I was awake before 6am feeling well rested and eager to get started on my day. It has been a busy morning. I've done the regular things plus dealing with teens, drop ins and monitoring DH on a not-his-best-mental day. I currently have DH in his recliner with an icepack on his face because he had a mishap with the weed eater. Oops! Otherwise, it's a good day to have a good day.

Glad to see you checking in, LadyM. I'm upstairs, just finished meeting with mentee - she now has a broken shoulder now and her right arm (her typing arm) is in a sling. She thinks it will improve quickly. I asked how many words she would be writing before we meet again and she suggested 500, I countered with 1000, and reminded her that my KDP was 21K words at 38 pages. So we'll see what happens next. She's still gathering research when she should be writing and editing, and her due date is 1 August. Not sure if I will continue with her, we'll see...

Hello, dear friends.

Emptynester news is greatly appreciated, thank you Ramblin' and Twins'.

Twins', unless she is left-handed... .. If it were me with that potential word length bearing down, I would concentrate on learning voice word processing/writing. I'm so sorry this has happened to her. Best travel wishes to dh.

LadyM,
your mention of an ice pack makes me think bruising - I hope it is not very painful for him.

Like Cathy, our sleep was interrupted last night, and I should have been able to go back to sleep but thought too much.
Yesterday had been my first day in months without a nap. A good sign, but not if I wasn't going to sleep enough last night.

Today, we had to be up and out the door by 8 for 3 appts.
Today was second day I tried such a long day without a wheelchair since my unfortunate incarceration. (smile)

By the time we returned, napping was in order. A good thing.

An assortment of encouraging news from dr. My blood is starting to do its own thing again with less help. All I needed was an injection and I could go home. I am officially only a twice-weekly patient as of today. RN removed the left-chest bandage and scar will be minimal, didn't replace bandage so it is trusted to heal further in open air like ordinary people do.

I was able to have a long and very good conversation with a young man who has been fighting this good fight for 7 years since he was diagnosed at college age. In the most recent attempt, his brother donated cells to him, and it turned out they are a 10 out of 10 match, and his doctor is so encouraging now because the brother's cells will dominate and change his life. :) It will be so complete that slowly, even this young man's blood type will change and become his brothers' type. Isn't that wonderful? His brother, a policeman, says please don't commit any crimes (smile) because if an investigation used DNA testing, brother might be charged instead! (no... .. but funny)

Nancy, your long awaited kitchen changes are done. Hope you enjoy. Also enjoy the sewing on new vest.

Harriet that sounds like wonderful progress. What a long hard road you've been on. So glad it's looking up.

Hmmm what should I do now. Home from work. Still trying to decide if I should put a few small things in pots in the greenhouse. Probably. I think the 2 tomatoes are going on the ground and I will try putting the shelves in for the pepper and cucumbers and herbs.

I need to decide supper and then go for my walk. Greenhouse is probably tomorrow. But I did do anti procrastination project this morning. My entry looks so much better. Finally took the swiffer and moved the many many spider homes aka bug catchers from the lights and ceiling. It was bad. Almost makes it look like I have a fresh clean area. Not all the way. Should wash walls too. But that took all of 5 minutes.

Wow that was really all over the place. The story of my life.

Hi, Lauralind. Good job on the work in your entryway. Glad it looks nice. I appreciate swiffers.

I have just washed up most of the dishes. As many as would fit without complaint into the dish drainer to dry. Maybe HRH will start feeling a little better and get the remainder. He has not really felt well since we got home, although he did change up the kitty potty.

Had a phone call from ddolder. She is going to help me out by putting a few new wish list items online after listening to her next birthday boy.

My recent order of headscarves arrived, and HRH brought them in for me. I hope to get them out of their thick (but clear?) packaging and see if they are what I hoped. I believe they are from the same company that made my favorite, which had been from the donations place and picked out by dd26.
