Last night when I went to bed, we had clear skies and I could have sat outside and read a book just by the light of the full Harvest/Hunter moon, which was also a supermoon.

This morning it's been absolutely pouring rain and it's dark enough in the house that I have lights on so I can see how messy the kitchen is.

I have a load of bed sheets in the washer along with 2 of the 3 liners that go on dh's side. He's apologizing repeatedly, so I gave him a big hug and a kiss and said "Shhh..." He can't help it and it's not like he's doing it on purpose, right?

Before dh got out of bed I sat at the table and cross stitched. Now I have pots and pans to do.

My hips are screaming at me, so I had a couple of ty lenols.

Glad your dmom is doing well today, bw2. I got my Halloween lighted pumpkins out yesterday - they're wired on a sensor to come on at twilight and stay on six hours. Three of them...I don't know if the light sensor will work when porch lights are on - last summer dh replaced them with bulbs that come on at dusk and they're so bright it looks like an airplane is about to land there...

Thank you for starting us with a tactical bent dear Harriet! I just can't express how happy I am to have you feeling stronger these days.

Good morning

I'm dreading today while at the same time I am hopeful. Today is DD14 3rd autism evaluation appointment.

DH has asked me three times this morning about when we’re leaving. The first two times, I responded with, "We will be picking DD14 up from school at noon today." By the third time, I simply told him not to worry and that I’d let him know when it was time to get in the car.

Dishes are in the dishwasher. As soon as the washing machine is finished, I will start the dishwasher. I have started on the pots/pans. Right now dh is leaning over the island, so I came in here for a break.

Happy anniversary to Blessedw2. Happy belated birthday to Sunny.

Just had to go out in the rain to take out chicken leg quarters for supper along with a cottage roll for tomorrow night. We had such a nice few days of heat and sunshine to say goodbye to summer, but today is certainly a fall/autumn day. Dark, windy and rainy.

Did get trash 2 curb 1st thing.
Did my writing stuff.
Breakfast happened.

Hydrated glad to be feeling better yea for that.

Daily's is my focus today.

showered, mom is back in bed -
danced with her in her wheel chair. she smiled a lot today. ate well. super alert all morning.
placed a a river order - I start looking at what family is missing - or running low on (for stockings).
cleaned up my card file bc it was getting disorganized.
dh is doing the dishes.
put away some.
did my bible study -

weekly cards are ready for today.

As part of my bible study and book study - I am trying to stay away from scrolling in the morning so that the day is positive.
